Living Space Designs

I’ve always believed that a contractor should say what they will do and do what they say. This is not the case with Living Space Designs. In their first email to us, they said, “We keep designing until you are 100% satisfied. We paid the design deposit, had three appointments and were close to finalizing the design. They sent us (via email) the latest design and cost estimate. We emailed them back a few questions and their response was, “We just are not equipped to handle any more work at this time and we will refund you, your deposit.” Really? Dropped us just like that! We asked them to reconsider but got no response. At least they did send us a check for the deposit (and it didn’t bounce).

It's been several months since our work was completed, and we have truly had a chance to live with the new bathrooms Helen designed for us. The master bath is a wonderful retreat and I often look around and wonder at the great work Helen and her team did. The guest bath is a "wow room", a place we love to show off. We are very happy with the work Living Space Designs did for us.

We had originally planned on interviewing at least three designers before choosing one for our kitchen remodel, but after meeting Helen we knew we didn't need to look any further! She was extremely knowledgeable, transparent, direct, and caring. She assured us that there would be no "budget surprises" and that their team would finish on schedule. Living Space Designs followed through on their promise despite many comments I heard from skeptical people who had been through renovations and shared their horror stories about being way over budget and behind schedule. Helen and her team took our ideas of a hacienda-style kitchen to the next level--it's even more beautiful than we ever imagined and fits so well with the rest of our house. Being first-time renovators, we had several "freak outs" and when we called Helen to discuss, she was amazing at listening and calming our fears. I would HIGHLY recommend Living Space Designs to any homeowner considering remodeling their kitchen and/or bathrooms.

We had our kitchen remodeled by Living Space Designs. It was a wonderful experience. Throughout the design process Helen & Amy came up with wonderful ideas that we never would have thought of on our own. They helped us envision and create a kitchen better than we imagined. Nailing down all of those little details to make everything just perfect. Jerod was also wonderful to work with durning the construction phase. We had a few surprises when removing our soffits and he quickly came up with solutions and made sure everything was done right the first time. We can’t wait to start our next project with the Living Space Designs team. Next fall we will start remodeling our Master Bathroom. I just know it’s going to be beautiful.
