She also found ways to save money on certain items so that we could spend a little more on some fancier things like lighting fixtures and pretties....oh and also, we were able to afford a micro-wave that is in a drawer in the island!!! We were searching for specific items for our kitchen and found Mari Woods right in the center of town. Although we didn't have a large project for her, she interacted with us as if we were family. We were able to find items we needed because of her involvement. Mari was excellent. She redesigned the space, came up with a very workable design and stayed within my budget. She was pleasant, talented and very easy to work with. She even answered all the contractors questions which really went beyond what she was contracted for. When I wanted something beyond my budget she worked tirelessly to find a similar replacement within my budget. The product arrived on time and she was here to inspect every piece and correct any mistakes. In the end, I have a beautiful, functional kitchen with quality products. I would recommend her to anyone. I only hope I get to work with her again

Mari did an entire revamp of our kitchen. She was a delight to work with, and allowed all my dreams to come true. We live in an old home, and wanted to keep the character and structure as it was. In a small area, Mari was able to include a Butlers Pantry, bar area, work and clean up space, island, and prep area,and it is large and spacious for the square footage. Her design were brilliant, she was easy to work with, receptive to my ideas, and fun. At the same time, she designed a new guest bath, complete with double sinks, fabulous walk in shower, and had our claw footed tub refinished. I cannot imagine anyone not being pleased with Mari's services. She is smart and up to date with all the trends, while providing top notch vendors, and service.

After researching the various designers in our area, we selected Mari Woods to design and provide custom cabinetry, tiles, and accessories for our kitchen and bathroom renovation project. Our house is a typical small cape that had a galley kitchen and tiny first floor bathroom. We added an addition that effectively doubled the size of both rooms, allowing us to incorporate an island into the kitchen, and double vanity and storage cabinets into the bathroom. We did our own architectural design and acted as our own general contractor. Mari worked with us on the interior design and was a huge help in selection of materials and colors. Mary is a gifted designer and a joy to work with. She took the time to understand us and our individual tastes, and produced a design that we both love. The quality of the cabinets is exceptional. She made herself available throughout the entire project and coordinated well with the various contractors involved. When the project was complete, she stood behind her products and made sure that the few minor defects we found were corrected in a timely fashion. We would highly recommend Mari to our closest friends.

Mari is the consummate professional. I have built 9 houses and can honestly say Mari is the best of any designer I have ever worked with. She was attentive to my needs and listened to my ideas. Most importantly she also tactfully steered me away from potential mistakes I would have made. As the ultimate tribute I am now building another home and have given her task to do the entire layout of the whole condo, 3,700 sq. ft, and carte blanche to pick out all the kitchen cabinets and colors. What more can I say!!
