I've used MAW for several projects. They are always courteous, professional and complete high quality work. They also do a great job of navigating the space constraints of a downtown condo.

MAW worked with us to do our kitchen renovations and we are extremely happy with his work and his crew. He would always let me know ahead of time if they were coming, if plans changed he would always notify me. He has a good working team that is reliable, he would check on the work himself regularly. No wonder he is successful in his career. He is not only a great builder but he is a good genuine person who listened to my changes and did not make it difficult for me. I would recommend him for anyone that's looking for professionalism and precision in their work.

Scott and Mike go above and beyond to ensure that every detail is anticipated and executed. They are reachable and responsive . When problems arise , they get them corrected quickly. Reno in a time of Covid...what can I say about MAW other than they were not only our contractors for our two condo unit combination/renovation project, but also became very dear people to us during this crazy 2020! They are not only good people to work with but just good people full stop. We first sat down with Scott and Mike over a year ago to carefully and thoughtfully design our new home, combining a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom condo in our Streeterville high-rise. The construction began execution in February and we all know what happened next! This team was NOTHING but professional dealing with our complete building shutdown for nearly 3 months. When allowed back, they agreed to all sorts of safety protocols (many of them over the top) to work within the confines of our building's rules. Then we had an unfortunate flood in one of the units, and the team immediately jumped in to help us both remediate the damage as well as navigate our insurance claims. Add to that normal project challenges and yet the teams would show up to the job site with a positive attitude and completed our work within budget, on time (as possible!), and with great care and quality. Scott and Mike are truly very understanding, reasonable and fair in their contracting. On the job site, Mike and Armando's keen eye on detail and quality was very much appreciated. And Mario and his team did a very nice job completing the work. We would be happy to work with MAW again and recommend to others!

Scott and Mike are true pro's who excel at all aspects of general contracting. Their subcontractors are the best in the business at their respective trades and treat MAW's jobs on a preferred basis. The quality of the workmanship on every aspect of our project was top notch and their responsiveness made us feel like our's was the only job they were working on. We were particularly impressed with respect to how they handled the more complex components - Mike's engineering background is a huge advantage and enabled them to elegantly solve structural issues without sacrificing aesthetics. We cannot recommend these guys enough - they are the rare GC that you will enjoy working with throughout and continue to view favorably even once the work is complete.

We had a wonderful experience with MAW. They completely redid a modest bungalow for our young adult children in a matter of a couple of months. Scott Sevon was my main point of contact. He is knowledgable, professional, honest, efficient and responsive. Scott's rapid and detailed communication skills are a huge-huge plus. Our project was completed on time and on budget with the highest quality of workmanship. When our friends come to visit they always comment about how nice everything looks especially the tile which is perfectly level and spaced even in the large areas. Great craftsmanship shows, especially in the kitchen where the tile was replaced WITHOUT removing the existing cabinetry (see photo).

I have been an architect for over twenty five years in the City of Chicago and during that time I and my firm have worked with many many contractors. I do small to midsize commercial projects throughout Chicago as well as multi-million dollar homes in Chicago’s Gold Coast. When it comes to quality it just does not get any better than MAW. The quality starts with the owners of MAW and permeates all the way down the organization right to the laborer in the way he sweeps a floor at the end of the day. I have never experienced it for myself or even heard of a MAW project where the owner was desiring higher quality than what MAW was delivering. At MAW high quality is nothing special…it is just the way they are!

Immaculate folow-up time when matters requested. Always asks how things are going and "can we do anything else?" Used for painting, backsplash, LED lighting, dry wall, and tuck pointing. Every person a pleasure to work with. Even sent cookies for XMAS!

As a member I have many Builders and Remodelers to choose from when wanting my kitchen and bathroom remodelled.
