I am so incredibly pleased with my new bathroom. Rick and his team were wonderful to work with. They were courteous, extremely professional and the quality is outstanding. Rick was patient, flexible and very professional. He guided me through the whole process and allowed me to be a part of the process but steered me in the right direction and kept my informed and involved. I love my bathroom so much. I can’t believe that Rick was able to make my dream bathroom a reality for me. I am excited to work with MHI again on my next project. I love my new bathroom! Rick completed the job on time. He always cleaned up the job site every day before he left. We have been living in our home for nearly 8 years when we finally decided to invest in a new kitchen and other improvements to the main level of our home. The project would include a media room and tearing down walls to open up the dining space of our main level. We were a bit nervous about the amount of time and money would be required to take on this job, but after getting a referral from a neighbor and seeing the amazing work done on their kitchen remodel, we decided to meet with the contractor, Rick McVey. Right from the beginning we were impressed with the level of professionalism and care we received. After hearing our goals and our budget, we were presented prints of three different options for layouts we never even considered, as well as a weekly timeline of when the job was planned to be completed . Throughout the project, Rick arrived on time and ready to work. He was always very kind to us and the kids and he expected the same from anyone else working in our home. He was always focused and had a daily game plan of what was to be done and an expectation that the work be completed to his high standards. Rick had full control and the confidence of any of the work done by the other tradespeople he hired before they entered our home. And he NEVER left a mess behind when he finished for the day. We would often entertain and prepare meals while sitting on the counter tops or the floor of our tiny, old kitchen. And now, Rick and MHI Interiors made our home even more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. The whole flow of the house has changed making everyday tasks more enjoyable and entertaining more comfortable and accommodating. Instead of sitting on the floor or the counter tops, we have a beautiful 11-foot island to gather around! Don't hesitate to contact MHI Interiors to create your dream space. MHI was wonderful! Professional, courteous, very knowledgeable and willing to share their experience and reasoning, excellent quality of work and interpersonal communications, open and honest and transparent to process, timing, changes, budget and deadlines. I could not be happier and highly recommend Rick and Angie and their team. I had my entire basement finished, bedroom, full bath, work out room, large entertainment area and storage area. Let me start off by saying that we would highly recommend MHI Interiors for a remodeling project! We were introduced to Rick McVey from MHI Interiors by the interior decorator we were working with. We were in the market for a complete kitchen remodel (cabinets, appliances, lighting, countertops) and a makeover for the dining room, family room, foyer and stairs to the second floor (complete painting, a change from wood stained trim to painted trim, and a change from a wood burning to gas fireplace). He came across as very sincere, knowledgeable and experienced in our initial meetings. He provided a very detailed quote and explained in detail the timing of the project. He took full responsibility for the project which basically took the kitchen down to bare studs. He worked extremely well with the interior decorator and the company that put in the new wood floors. He made very good suggestions on many items. His craftsmanship was outstanding. He was extremely considerate of our needs and our home. As we made changes to our initial pans, he was very detailed in providing costs for the changes. His attention to detail is outstanding. Some examples of his consideration: We had a target date for making the kitchen "useable" since we had company coming. Not only did he make that date, he cleaned up the complete downstairs so we could use the complete space with our guests. After the project was complete, the new gas fireplace insert had an issue that required repair under warranty. He came out before the fireplace employees, put down cardboard on the new hardwood floor from the garage to the fireplace, and all around the fireplace so no damage could be done to the flooring. He stayed while the repair was made and cleaned everything up! We are very pleased with the results of the project and would recommend Rick and MHI Interiors to anyone considering using him.

When I remodeled my guest bathroom they were very helpful. They loaded everything for me with a smile. If I need a home repair I always go to Lowes. I bought ceiling fans, drywall, paint. New tile in the kitchen and crown molding.

I hired MHI Interiors in October of 2012 for a project that required the reinforcement of our porch deck for a hot tub installation. Mr. McVey was very thorough and professional in his evaluation and recommendation of work that needed to be done to ensure a safe and structurally sound improvement to our deck. We were presented with an estimate that clearly outlined the details of the costs, and all the information was reviewed to make sure we understood what would be involved. He took care of all permits and necessary inspections, was always on time to perform the work, kept the work area clean and safe, and kept us updated on the progress and next steps. This is the third project that MHI Interiors has done for us, and previous work has included a kitchen and bath remodel. We continue to use their services because the quality of work and professionalism is outstanding, and they are an extremely trustworthy and reliable company. Mr. McVey is wonderful to work with and I look forward to the next project!

We have used MHI for three bathrooms, our kitchen, and various interior and exterior projects. They are professional and low-stress. We have no regrets and plan to get quotes from them for future projects.

We initially hired McVey Home Improvement to remodel two bathrooms. The McVey team offered some excellent ideas for the remodeling with a reasonable price. We had interviewed other companies, but by far, the McVey presentation was the most professional. Once the project started, we were impressed by Mr. McVey's promptness, positive attitude and expertise. The two bathrooms were completed in a timely fashion -- we were so happy with the bathrooms, we immediately scheduled McVey Home Improvement to remodel an unfinished attic space. Just like the bathrooms, we were pleased with the attic presentation, the price, and the entire project. The attic space turned out beautiful and this led us to schedule McVey Home Improvement soon after to remodel our kitchen. The McVey team again designed a kitchen that is beautiful and functional. Bottom line: The presentations reflected a true budget, deadline and fabulous design - all with a positive "can do" attitude! Would hire again!!
