Mike has done several small to medium sized projects on my home and has done an absolutely phenomenal job. Mike takes the time to ask questions, ponder possible solutions and then offers very sound advice. I especially appreciate his problem-solving abilities; he has offered me ideas that have saved me a great deal of money! He's clearly a man of integrity and I would trust him for any job.

I made a decision to use MKM for a bathroom remodel in early January. He came over with a great, professional estimate and we talked through specifics of the job. I asked for some contract changes and willingly handed over a check for several thousand dollars to cover the deposit in good faith. He emailed me an updated contract and cashed my check, and we continued making selections, all within the agreed-upon timeframes for a project to being on 3/2/20. Today, on 2/21/20, he emailed me to let me know he was backing out of the job. He said he would return my deposit, though he felt like he was entitled to it for "project management" done to-date. No work has been done. I feel like I'm very lucky to be getting out of this with a refund, but PLEASE consider my experience when considering using his services. I am now going to be several months behind, and have a garage full of tile for the foreseeable future.

This is our second major renovation with Mike and his crew. They were timely, thorough, and easy to work with. Mike’s attention to detail and focus on craftsmanship resulted in our complete satisfaction . We look forward to working with Mike on our next project.

Mike is a professional. He plans his jobs so your project is his main focus while he is with you. He is always available for consultation via phone or email and worked hard to meet his original estimated date of completion. My favorite thing about working with Mike is that he brings not only years of experience as a contractor but he also has an artist's background. This allows him to bring his design experience to the job as well. I am color and design challenged and he worked with me to guide our decisions without taking over, he was a partner in the process. He is a perfectionist in his workmanship and cleans the work area as much as possible everyday before he leaves. We have an older home that had crooked walls. Mike was always looking for ways to reduce the visual and structural impact of this inherited issue. He makes it a point to work with other professionals that know what they are doing. He gives you recommendations of places to shop but it is not high pressure sales. When vendors messed up Mike dealt with the issue. Mike gave us a quote and was clear in what he was responsible for and what he was not. He does not like change orders so he works hard to stay within his original quote. When we hit an unforeseeable issue with our crooked house he was quick to get us the revised estimate that was fair and complete. Mike works to build a relationship with his customers and we are already discussing what other projects he can do with us.

On time, good communication, professional attitude, artistic talent and excellent workmanship. I would definitely recommend MKM !!! The project was on time and done according to my wishes. Bathroom turned out even more beautiful than I expected .

We had a great experience working with Mike. Going into our master bathroom remodel, we had a good idea of what worked for us and what we did not like in a remodeling company due to previous experience in remodeling our kitchen. Mike and his crew provided us with a more ideal experience. He had wonderful communication throughout the project and listened carefully to what we wanted in our new bathroom. We think that one of the best aspects of MKM is that Mike is a designer and contractor so that there is a seamless transition between the creative and labor phases of the project. They used good quality materials and had high standards for their work. And most importantly, we stayed within budget! We'd be happy to work with MKM on any future home projects.

We've had MKM do a few big projects in our house (kitchen, basement) and we've always been very pleased with the outcome. Mike is like family to us now. We feel safe with him and his crew - and they are always very respectful to our home and keeping things clean. Mike is exceptional. From his first in-home visit, where he spent about 2 hours listening to us, taking measurements, and asking questions to the detailed CAD drawings he provided, we felt like Mike was invested in our project. He and his team are professional, reliable, craftsman who set a new standard for “attention to detail”. Mike’s partners, such as cabinetry and countertops, were clearly selected for quality. Everything arrived on time and the schedule went off without missing a beat. Mike gave us a roadmap of the project plan and each day we would review with him what we could expect that day and in the coming days. He kept us informed and stayed flexible when we wanted to change things. Mike was patient with our questions and helped us find just the right solutions. The project came in on time and on budget. We love our kitchen. Mike turned our dream into reality. We can’t wait to have him work on our bathroom project.

Mike just completed our master bathroom with a completely different floor plan & design. He was able create a new floor plan that met and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend him for any remodeling project. He is very professional and trustworthy. He and his crew take great pride in their work. This is our third remodeling project with Mike and we would continue to use him for any future needs.

We loved working with Mike on our master bathroom. It needed a total renovation. Mike was great from the planning to the execution of the design. We were so happy with everyone that worked on our project. He has a wonderful crew of people and we were very comfortable with each one of them. They were friendly, efficient, and attentive to detail. We would definitely recommend Mike to anyone needing work on their house!

Great contractor! Mike renovated our kitchen in early 2018. We couldn’t have been happier with the work. Mike was very attentive to going through all details of our ideas and requests before the start of the project. Mike was present every day and was readily available for any of our questions. While the timeline was a little longer than we had hoped I wouldn’t trade this for the first rate work. We started with a very clearly outlined budget and stayed on target. We have been in our new kitchen just over 6 months and couldn’t be happier! I would recommend MKM without reservation and will definitely use them again.
