Gina took the time to understand my style and decorative preferences before designing a solution to renovate the primary bathroom. She made tile and flooring selections easy by narrowing choices based on my preferred palette and other home furnishings. She led a very experienced team of trade professionals to upgrade the primary bathroom on time, promptly addressing challenges (as every reno has!) every step of the way. The primary bathroom is now a spa-like experience every day!

We hired Gina in April 2021 to renovate and remodel our kitchen. It was a big project which included knocking down a wall, removing and replacing windows, matching the hard wood floors through the new space and picking out furniture, cabinets, light fixtures, countertops, shelves, pantry doors and everything else you can imagine. Gina and her crew exceeding our expectations in every way so much so that we since hired her to remodel our fireplace, mantle and entire family room, guest bathroom and do various painting jobs. Gina is the rare combination of design talent and remodeling expertise. She listens and respects the client's input while also gently guiding us towards what will work and look best from her expert vision. Her crew is professional, on time and thorough. If anything does not fully meet your expectation, they come back and get it exactly to your liking. We cannot recommend her highly enough. She goes above and beyond in all the ways and really takes care of her clients. We feel extraordinarily lucky to have found her.

Gina is a dream to work with. My husband and I had an idea of what we wanted to do to our master bathroom but Gina took our simple idea and made it into our dream bathroom and closet. She seamlessly manages every detail of design, build, contractor, subcontractor, scheduling, timelines, EVERYTHING. She made the process so easy and stress free. If you really want to redo your bathroom/kitchen but don't want to deal with the hassle of project management - hire Gina!!!! I can't wait to bring her back in to redo our other bathrooms!

This was our first major renovation and we could not have been more impressed with how smoothly the process went. Our kitchen and master bath needed a complete gut. After vetting a few designers/contractors, we chose Gina and her company, Monarch Designs and Remodeling, for a variety of reasons. For starters, it is a female-owned business. Secondly, Gina was very transparent in all of our meetings. We never felt we were being upsold as she was extremely considerate of our budget. She listened to our ideas and made them come to life. A quality that we certainly appreciated was the fact that she didn’t always say yes to our ideas (in the politest of ways, of course). After all, we are not the pros! As a designer who also has her contracting license, she understands what adds value to a home and what doesn’t and her feedback and expertise were always welcomed. Her design talent is very apparent in the final product. Down to the smallest of details such as the direction in which a cabinet door opens, Gina was on top of it! She was constantly at the job site, kept the communication flowing with us, and had the site professionally cleaned before the big reveal. Without a doubt, we highly recommend Gina and her team.

Gina was an absolute gem to work with. A true professional who listens to her client, and brings optimism and a problem-solving approach to her work. Her team is fantastic - they completed our project on time and on budget and did high quality work. She take all of the pain out of a major renovation project. I would recommend Monarch Design & Remodeling in a heartbeat. Gina completely transformed our dark, disproportionate kitchen into a bright, functional space that’s perfect for entertaining. She was extremely involved every step of the way (consultation, design, construction, final touches) and by far the most reasonable contractor in terms of cost. Other contractors quoted us $20k - $30k more...sight unseen. Not to mention, Gina was an absolute pleasure to work with, and the same goes for her entire team. We could not be happier with the final product!

Gina (Monarch DAR, LLC.), is a first-class designer. She is very knowledgeable of the remodeling business and offers cabinetry from a top-rated company (Candlelight). She completed a renovation of our kitchen in June 2018 and our master bathroom in 2017. She was fully engaged in every aspect of both projects and responded promptly to all our concerns. In our initial meeting, she quickly put us at ease. She gave us exceptional advice, provided us with optional design proposals, and worked within our budget. Gina and her team's work is of the highest quality with close attention to detail. She insured I got everything I wanted in my kitchen and treated it as if it was her own. I use to tell her how much I love my "Beautiful" bathroom, now I tell her how much I love my "Gorgeous" kitchen. We will definitely use her again for future projects.

She showed us several designs to begin, once we had selected the layout we wanted she then provided great advice on materials and supervised the work until I was completely satisfied. Gina has been a delight to work with. She helped me take on a kitchen project, fixing a kitchen remodel another company did that i was not happy with. She took in to consideration my tastes and budget and came up with ideas that would work with the floor and cabinets i had. She is professional, courteous, knowledgable and does all with a smile. When the workers are at your house she is always there to answer any questions they may have or come up with solutions to things that may arise. I can't say enough about what a pleasure it has been to work with her. We already have our "Spring Project" lined up so will be working with her again this coming spring. We contracted with Monarch Design & Remodeling to redo our master bathroom, and we were very pleased with the results - both in the experience of working with Gina, as well as in our new bathroom! This was our third project with Gina. Our first project was a foreclosed townhouse we bought couple years ago. We renovated house top to bottom and Gina guided us through out the process; color and material selections, benefit and costs analysis, industry standards etc. It is not only looks beautiful but eases our day to day life such as design of the kitchen, adding pull out drawers and lazy susan, faucet and sink selections. Second project was 2 bdr rental condo renovation and third project is 1 bdr rental (current). We enjoy working with her; she understands your needs whether for your home or rental, responds your questions and concerns. She also works within your budget and final product is always satisfactory!

Gina was involved in many facets of our remodeling, she did an excellent job, she brought the job in on time, she watched over and supervised the guys like nobody else. I've never seen anyine work like her she was impeccable with the clean up when the job was comets and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to do large or snail jobs!

Our experience with Monarch Design and Remodeling (MDR) LLC was by far the best we have had with any contractor. Our project was a complete kitchen replacement. My wife and I immediately clicked with Gina Simpson, MDR's owner who also served as our Project Manager/designer, as soon as we began discussing our objectives and desires. She provided unique and innovative suggestions, often leading to changes that significantly improved the kitchen functionally as well as aesthetically. The design and material selection process was a lot of fun, exceeded our expectations, and led to a beautiful gourmet kitchen that is a real showcase in our home. The construction phase, although highly intrusive due to the fact that a kitchen is a central point in any home, was almost enjoyable given the timeliness (the project was completed entirely on schedule) and quality of the work performed. Ms. Simpson's staff /contractors were friendly, helpful in answering questions, responsive to concerns when we had them, and highly skilled in their professions. Ms. Simpson engaged us daily (on-site or over the phone) to ensure things were satisfactory as the work progressed, made sure we were informed and on board with any revisions, and immediately addressed any aspect of the work that needed to be corrected. In closing, MDR is an outstanding company that completed the project under budget and on schedule.

Monarch Design did an excellent job helping us remodel our kitchen island. They provided valuable design ideas and made sure that we were also aware of appropriate code standards, as they related to the renovation. They understood our practical needs and design preferences within the scope of the project. They completed the work on time, and provided a seamless installation process.

Gina was the designer and project manager for a major kitchen, laundry room, and powder room transformation that included the floors, walls, cabinets, appliances, countertops, and lighting. As we began our project, we quickly realized that we were facing a large number of critical and stressful decisions. Fortunately, Gina provided excellent guidance and assisted us throughout every phase of the project. Gina began the process by taking the time to understand our personalities, preferences, and concerns. She accompanied us on multiple visits to cabinet distributors, granite warehouses, tile showrooms, and lighting distributors. Gina developed a great design, offered innovative suggestions, and assisted us with all of the color, material, and style selections. Gina is great at visualizing how the end product will look and function. She did a wonderful job explaining why we would be happy with certain selections and why other combinations would not complement each other or fit within our style preferences. During the construction phase, Gina kept us informed, collaborated with the contractors to solve several unexpected problems, meticulously examined the cabinets and workmanship, and ensured the final project exceeded our expectations. We love and are thrilled with our new kitchen! We do not hesitate in giving Gina our highest recommendation.

Monarch remodeled our kitchen and bathroom in 2011. Gina spent a lot of time simplifying the process and design work which was exactly what we were looking for. The work was done in a professional and very timely manner. Much faster than what other companies had proposed, and the quality has been great. Gina also does a great job of following up to make sure that even after everything settled they came back to do any necessary touch ups. We were very happy with their work and have reached on out other projects as well. We would definitely recommend Monarch.

We've built a new house recently and we've worked with Gina on six bathrooms, kitchen, bar and the outside cabana kitchen area. She was very professional, creative, knowledgeable, responsive and pleased to work with. From the planning stage through completion she seemed to take what could have been an otherwise overwhelming project and guided us through the process resulting in beautiful rooms. Another aspect that was very important to us was communication, which was right on. There wasn't a time that we did not hear back from her within a couple of hours.
