I've worked with Multi Construction Company as their project photographer. Just by being witness to their projects through my lens, I could immediately sense that Shafayet has a strong passion for what he does. He has a meticulous eye for detail and it's evident that his only goal is to make sure his clients' LOVE their newly designed spaces. Before he calls me to a job for a shoot, he makes sure all elements are in their place and the space looks like something out of a magazine, because that's how it should be delivered to the client. I highly recommend Shafayet & Multi Construction Company. I think his work is amazing. And from seeing his designs in person, chatting with some of his clients about the whole experience, I am certain you will be just as satisfied with his work as any of his previous clients are.

Long overdue review for Multi-construction Co. I contacted this company last year while my husband and I were just about to close on a home requiring extensive renovations. Based on Yelp reviews, I contacted Shafayet to meet for a quote. Shafayet meet up at the directed location promptly, he was professional, and assertive on necessary repairs etc. Fortunately, once the contract was signed from our end the seller worked to press us for more $ on the home. We remained firm and continued our home search, (two months later the same seller's agent contacts us to ask if we're still interested in the home, guess the seller gambled and loss). I mentioned 'fortunately' earlier because as our two year home search resumed we landed a better home. Having felt confident in Shafayet and his frank advisement and no non sense attitude, I contacted him a 2nd time. Shafayet was on it post haste, quickly affirming what needed to be done and how soon he could put the home on schedule. I was honest with Shafayet from the start on my budget ( having sunk in more on the 2nd home then what I would have on the first). Shafayet and his team were the right fit for making our fixer-upper a TRUE home. His team ARE incredible! We had about a 2-3 month deadline on our apt so the pressure was on. His men worked from 8am-9pm at times. 6-7 days a week to ensure progress. 2nd floor was skim coated entirely and painted. 1st floor was darn near gutted save for the floors in dinning and living room. A partition, a closet, 4 walls (yeah, I'm one of those open floor type of people) Shafayet had to reign me in on the '...can this come down, and that...' he abided I'd have no home left if he did that. Whole kitchen completely demo'd and Patio doors added (that he advised, which was a great call). Track lights, floating shelves in the kitchen, new flooring in den and kitchen, more skim coating and painting. We were simply adding more work as we went and Shafayet who should have been bald by now (from all sudden requests and changes) took it in stride. I'm sure we gave him high blood pressure when an electrician we hired didn't fit the project and Shafayet was able to get his own electrician [Glenn] to complete the work when the skim coating had nearly been dried! (Loads of holes being made that needed to be re patched) I know my husband sure gave him palpitations with his questions but his attitude and professionalism never wavered nor his honesty. The entire MC team from additional contractors hired on IE: The plumber [John], they were excellent, respectful and prompt. I down right adore the carpenter [Hector] who did things for our home (installing window rods etc because I didn't want to mess the walls up) totally beneath him but he did it. Shafayet only works with the best from skill to personality and it was a pleasure to get this company while I had the chance. Our home is a beauty in progress and we will continue to contact Shafayet much to his hidden dismay (I joke) for the remaining renovations. I WON'T be going elsewhere. My basement, attic etc need renovations. If you're a home owner looking for quality, reliability, professionalism and a company who will treat your home as you would then Multi- Construction Co. Should be contacted as soon as possible. They are not cheap but they are fair. Save your self the head aches and paranoia of other companies doing shoddy work. I could go on about their amazing work. Thank you Shafayet and MC team, totally in love with our home.

Excellent, Professional, Specialized, Outstanding, First-rate. I cannot give Multi Construction enough praise. Shafayet and his team were truly a blessing. We searched everywhere for a General contractor, reaching out to all of our friends and family using Facebook; but that just returned horror stories. We reached out to “awarded” contractors on Angie’s list, but that just got us contractors who’s main concern was finding out what our budget was to try to maximize their profit. Then we found Multi Construction on yelp and their reviews were excellent. Upon meeting Shafayet we realized he was all business. He explained to us the process and explained to us everything we needed to do before he could begin to give us an accurate quote. Most contractors feel you out and throw numbers out to try to find your max. Multi Construction worked with us to get the most done to fit our budget and keep us from over spending. From the first day of work we could see the professionalism, Multi Construction was always on time and working full steam ahead. There was never a time that I showed up to the job site and the crew was not working. I cannot say how many job sites I have gone to and found that the crew was short a few members or guys were sitting down, etc. Multi Construction made our dream home come to life. I would recommend Multi Construction to anyone without hesitation. This is the kind of team you need on any project and the kind of honesty that you can’t find very often. I advise anyone looking for a Professional company look no further. You won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I purchased our home in October 2015 that needed much TLC. The house was in a very bad condition and it needed to be fully renovated. We knew the process was going to be pretty scary and risky but we were fully committed to finding the right team for this gut renovation project. It was very sad to see that no one in my family, friends nor coworkers were able to refer someone they had used in the past because they had such a bad experience. We interviewed many contractors and architects but we must say Shafayet from Multi Construction was the most honest and sincere contractor we’ve ever met. From the very beginning he told us what to expect and what we needed to do before hiring a contractor. He initially told us we needed an architect to change the structure and layout of the house. We tried to differ from his advice but we realized he was right about hiring an architect. We needed an architect to legally change the structure and layout of our one family house. Shafayet invested time to gain our trust by showing us his previous Job sites for reference. Multi Construction quote was not extremely low which means his work was not poor in quality but it was not extremely high; it was right in the middle! I believe his price was fair and very reasonable for all the amount of work we had required. Today, I am very happy we decided to hire him for this project. From the moment Shafayet took over this gut renovated project his team has made this process a lot easier for us. Multi construction completed the demolition of our home in less than a week. That is very impressive! They began to level out the floors and created the new layout of our home immediately after. They were very knowledgeable, well experienced and they followed all the architects’ plans. Everything that was on paper was coming to life right before my eyes and it was an unforgettable experience. The footing & foundation are very solid, the framing, exterior finishing and the interior finishing were remarkable and used great materials. Overall, his team are highly skilled contractors and I will forever be grateful for their talent and exceptional customer service. His team was extremely professional, respectful, hardworking and reliable individuals. They were always united, always on time and always available to answer our questions. It was such a beautiful, pleasant experience that I will always speak very highly of Multi Construction and I will never trust anyone else other than this team to do work in my house or any other project I may face in the near future.

Shafayet renewed my confidence in general contractors-- his team is absolutely amazing!!! Here's the story. I purchased a 2-family house in Brooklyn, NY... it was a new development. Once I moved into the house, the builder reneged on completing a punch-list of escrow items. Moreover, the house turned out to have numerous other issues and was practically uninhabitable. That's when I started looking for a general contractor to complete the job. After meeting with several companies, I decided to go with my brother's recommendation... Multi Construction Co. My brother is an expert researcher and conducted a level of due diligence that's outside of my skillset. The first weekend that Shafayet came to the property, he brought along a small army of painters, carpenters-- you name it. He does not play around... he wants the job to be completed as quickly as the customer does. Even more impressive is his team's workmanship. They are absolutely committed to doing the right thing, the first time around... no matter how time consuming it may be. After witnessing a masterclass in efficiency and quality, I signed-on for several other projects with Shafayet. MC Co. helped me address numerous defects including: leaky window, poor plumbing, issues with the facade, incorrectly hung doors, roof issues, etc. I'm a stickler for details, and Shafayet's team did not disappoint. If you're in need of a general contractor and live in the NYC area, don't waste your time elsewhere-- give Multi Construction Co a call immediately. The cost is reasonable and the timing and professionalism is on a next level.

My husband and I bought our 1st home and hired Multi Constuction to assist with the needed renovations. The work done on our 2 family home was extensive and included replacing our roof and building a hatch for future roof access, renovation of our bathrooms, lighting, w/d hook up and installation, prep and painting of the entire home, amoung many other odds and ends. Our experience from begining to end has been fabulous! The entire team has been extremely helpful, professional, timely and has substantially enhanced the beauty of our home with their impeccable attention to detail. Any issues or concerns that arose were quickly identified and addressed without delay. For example the installation of our ductless HVAC units resulted in the exposure of wiring that was not astetically pleasing. Multi construction executed a design plan that concealed the exposed wiring in such a way that further enhances the beauty of our home. We would highly recommend multi construction for your renovation needs.

Multi Construction Co recently finished a 3000 sf renovation job for an office space that I oversaw. Shafayet and his crew from were fantastic to work with. Their bid was the best that we received from 5 contractors that looked at the space. They were very patient with us during design changes and scheduling set backs, always able to accommodate and make recommendations. The Multi Construction crew is professional and knowledgable. Our company has since hired them to perform other work for our clients, as well as personal work for one of our employees. I highly recommend Multi Construction Co.

I did a complete renovation to the ground floor of a family brownstone in Brooklyn. After numerous estimates and many frustrating conversations I found Shafayet and Multi Construction. I was given a fair estimate and the entire construction team did an amazing job in a more than timely fashion. The entire job-including unexpected older home care and maintenance, which was again, fairly priced and amazing work- was done within a month! Shafayet and Multi Construction come highly recommended and if I ever need anything done to the house he's the first I'll call!

Shafayet and his crew did an excellent job replacing the water heater with a tankless water heater and expanding our bathroom closet, as well as putting in new pantry shelving. This required electrical, plumbing and design work. We love how everything turned out. They were very professional and kept us informed of the work going on in the project at each phase. And, the cost of the project was very reasonable. We are definitely going to contact them again for future projects in our condo.

Our condo was leaking internally along one wall, and we had Shafayet come out to look at the leaks and give us a quote on restuccoing the outside wall. Shafayet was extremely professional and fairly priced - around $6,000 for one wall, with 30 year window caulking included. It took a few months to decide on who we were going to go with, and in that timeframe Shafayet was very responsive to all of my questions and requests. We ended up hiring him and his team started about 2 weeks later. They finished the job within 2 weeks and were very accommodating, especially with the way we access our backyard (only the 1st floor apt has access to the yard, so everyone had to use the basement window to get to the backyard). Our building is a 3 unit condo and while I was the main contact for Shafayet, he still worked with the other 2 owners and listened to their questions/requests. I would definitely recommend Multi Construction Company, and I would hire them again. So far no leaks along that wall, and we have had a few storms since they finished.
