I dealt with Ralph, Great guy! His pricing was right in the middle of my estimates and his work was fantastic. His men were on the job every day until my job was completed. They worked neat, careful and always respectful. The job was done exactly as we contracted Ralph for and it came out Fantastic! We even went on vacation for 3 weeks, while his men were working on our home. My neighbors were texting us how great a job his men were doing and raving about how beautiful our home was looking. Ralph and his team redid my siding, reconstructed parts of our exterior , installed windows/doors and built a portico. Overall excellent results , house is completely rejuvenated and modernized, it looks great. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of working with National Home Improvements for a siding, window, and gutter home improvement project. We were thrilled with the quality of work and the excellent customer service that was provided by the owner Ralph and his team. Right from the start, Ralph was very responsive to our needs and concerns. He listened to our suggestions and offered advice to ensure that the project was completed to our satisfaction. He worked with us on pricing, making sure that we stayed within our budget providing the most competitive pricing out of all the quotes we received, which made our decision an easy one. One of the highlights of the project was working with Charles, who installed 17 windows along with trim in record time. He was efficient, detail oriented. We were amazed by his expertise and dedication to getting the job done right. We also had the pleasure of working with Luis and his siding team, who worked tirelessly from 8am to dark every day in the chilly New Jersey February weather. They were always willing to answer any questions or concerns that we had. Additionally, they made sure to clean up the site every day, which was a nice touch. One thing that really stood out to us was Luis's attention to detail. For example, we planned on reusing our existing shutters, Luis noticed that three pairs were too long for the windows, which would have looked odd if they had been installed as-is. We were able to reuse most of our existing shutters and replace the three pairs that were too long. We were grateful for Luis's sharp eye and expertise, as it saved us from making a mistake that would have marred the appearance of our home. It was a stark contrast to a contractor we worked with previously who had installed these shutters that were too long and never mentioned it to us. I must also mention the exceptional work done by Bruno and the gutter installation team at National Home Improvements. The installation was completed in one day, and we hardly noticed the team was working because they were so quiet and efficient. We opted for 6-inch round gutters, which turned out to be a great decision. We recently had a big storm, and our new gutters performed perfectly. In the interest of fairness and transparency, I must also mention an issue we had with an outside electrical receptacle that did not meet our expectations. Ralph immediately connected us with an electrician to assess the situation. By the next day, a proper outside receptacle and weatherproof box were installed to our satisfaction. We were very pleased with the quick resolution of the issue. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the work that National Home Improvements has done on our home. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and willingness to work with us to ensure our satisfaction were truly second to none. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality home improvement services. We would work with them again in the future.

I 100% recommend Ralph and his team at National Home Improvements! They deserve way more than 5 stars! They replaced the exterior siding on my house and they were professional, highly skilled, clean and their work was impeccable. They absolutely transformed the exterior of my house. It’s beautiful. I have worked with many contractors over the years and I would put them at the top of the list. And probably the thing that they do best is COMMUNICATE! Any question I had was answered promptly which was wonderful. Do yourself a favor and hire these guys!

Ralph is a very helpful person and really cares. There are not enough contractors out there like him. Exactly what he said from start to finish is exactly what happened. They complete tear off new roofing, 20 new windows, and gutters. They were prompt, neat, and professional. This was a huge job and could have been a real headache, but they was handles professionally. Workmanship was excellent and the they did a very good job of cleaning up. We are extremely pleased with the outcome.

Ralph and his team were top notch. Our home required about 26 windows including double hung, picture, and sliders!! Ralph met me at my home in the late evening and provided a quote. Ralph's pricing was straightforward. It was refreshing to talk to a non-pushy company for once. We went with Ralph and his installers put them in our home about a week later. Took about a day and a half. His crew showed up about an hour earlier and were super fast. The windows are awesome and I was completely satisfied. I have already recommended National Home Improvements to all of my friends and family.

From the beginning to the end, National Home Improvements did a fantastic job for us. The sales person, was great to work with. He followed up quickly whenever I had questions before the installation. He also made sure that our security system wiring would be handled easily so that I did not have to contact a separate electrician to deal with that. On installation day, Ralph was excellent!! He kept me informed every step of the way, and made sure that everything went smoothly with his team. They arrived exactly on time, and were done about an hour sooner than they had predicted. All in all, it was a perfect transaction. I highly recommend National Home Improvements.

I'm happy to give these guys 5 stars. They did a major renovation for us and they did an amazing job. They were so professional and worked extremely hard to completely project on time. I've never heard of a contractor keeping everything on time and on budget but these guys definitely did. House looks amazing! Hired Ralph to do my siding in Millstone twp. The House looks unbelievable and his crew did an great job all around. The place was cleaned up perfectly after the work was done. We couldn’t be more happy with the Hardie siding and the install Ralph and his guys did!

They did the siding and smaller projects on our home. When it was communicated to Ralph, and thinking in the end some things became unsettled from the storms we had this summer, he showed up and had it fixed within the week. They even paid me back for a piece I had done on my own, when they found out.

A new portico, windows and an interior room renovation, fantastic results. My wife found National Home Improvements and Ralph from a google search, and then proceeded to look up several other outlets like Houzz to do her detective work, as she does with everything. After reading countless amazing reviews, we decided to meet Ralph and discuss our home renovation. Ralph – He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He had a great vision for our project and understood exactly what we were looking for (and be we I mean my wife :) ) Throughout the entire process, Ralph ALWAYS answered the phone, came by countless times to make sure everything was correct, and really seemed like more of a friend helping me with the project instead of a new contractor I had just met. The Job – We had a big renovation project. We essentially redid our entire 7,000 sq ft home – Previously it was very Tuscan, and we wanted to update it to a more modern/farmhouse style. Included in the job was the following: Removing the venetian plaster, panting all the walls, redoing the entire kitchen with new cabinets and quartzite countertops, and ripping up all of the existing floors and putting European white oak down, redoing the entire mantle/fireplace/built in cabinetry in the great room, changing all of the bannisters/spindles in the house, putting in wooden beams in the kitchen as well as accent wood pieces over the hood, and much, much more. The result – Our home is honestly the most beautiful home I have ever seen. Everyone that comes over expresses those same thoughts and is beyond impressed. Most importantly to me, Ralph took a home with great bones but essentially opposite of what my wife wanted and created my wife’s dream home. For that, I will be forever grateful to Ralph and his team. The workmanship is impeccable…but here is the best part. Any little thing I found that was wrong, he immediately had someone come and fix it. He also went above and beyond and helped me with a leak and several other issues that were not part of the job at no cost. It’s safe to say that Ralph completely changed my opinion of “contractors” who are typically not the best of characters and try to nickel and dime you every chance they get. The price – Ralph is not cheap…but he shouldn’t be based on the quality of work. But he is also extremely fair and competitive. There were countless times that he threw things in / did not charge me for adjustments. We even had an issue with our flooring, which was our mistake, that he ate some of the cost for to because he is a great guy…unheard of. Overall, it was the best investment I have made and likely has increased the value of my home 2x. Would I recommend Ralph and his team? In one word, YES. There were no surprises, Ralph was transparent, professional, and created our dream home. He went above and beyond to communicate with me on a regular basis and was extremely fair and accommodative. One other benefit that I did not expect, was I walked away with a new friend.

National Home Improvement just finished a full gut renovation for us. From the top down... roof, windows, siding, bathrooms, kitchen, floors. We started with covid in full swing, and unfortunately had to deal with delays and setbacks. From lack of materials, to problems with deliveries, everything that could delay, did delay. However, the owner of National, Ralph Favilla, was a gentleman throughout the entire process. He was on site daily, and was constantly communicating with us. Keeping us informed of every detail, and guiding us through the renovation. Fulfilling all of his promises, and then some. Our finished house looks amazing and with Ralph's recommendations, is the nicest on our block. He has lived up to his reviews, and his reputation speaks for itself. National Home Improvements just completed our roofing, door, portico, and siding project... our house is lovely... just as we had hoped it would be. Ralph and his team did an amazing job. While global supply chain issues delayed the start of our project, the communication from Ralph was on point. He was always available when I reached out to him, but more importantly, he proactively reached out to keep us updated and to check-in to be sure our expectations were being met. He was mindful of the different details that were important to me and those that were important to my husband. The foreman and the entire construction team all worked in unison to keep our project moving forward, and they were open to our homeowner inquiries and interactions. Ralph (owner) answered my questions and listened to my long list of requests on the very first call. I hired Ralph (NHI) to do a whole home remodel in NJ all while I was still living in Nashville, TN - For most this would be a nightmare, but Ralph made it easy. All the work was done with incredible craftsmanship and everything was completed to my specifications. Ralph was always available (ALWAYS) to answer questions and provide recommendations. It is key to mention that all of this work was done during a time of high prices and supply shortage - Ralph always held to the price and always communicated any delays in an open and honest fashion. Ralph and his crew replaced my aluminum siding with new vinyl siding. They did a terrific job, house looks great. Whole job was done in 4 days, they cleaned up everyday and left my yard in excellent condition. I highly recommend.

So happy I came across national home improvements! I had a pretty big leak in my roof, I thought I was going to have to possibly replace the entire roof. Thankfully these guys were able to provide me a couple of options to save me a little bit of money. Just ended up being a patch of job really and save me a couple of hundred dollars thank you again guys!

Excellent job. Replaced our old wood siding with Hardie Board. It looks great, and they did a good job installing the window and three new doors. Great communication with the owner (Ralp) and the two foreman (Mike and Lewis) - everything met expectations. We were happy with the job and the timing as well.

I had 40 year old siding and windows replaced. The work done was impeccable. There were some problems with rotting wood from the house being so old, and the workers fixed all of it at no extra cost. Their estimate for the job was lower then anyone else, and the quality of their work is 5 stars.

The workers were amazing! They had to remove old metal, then add wooden decking to entire roof and then cover it with new shiny metal roof! I have never seen cheerful attitudes like this crew had every day working long hours in the heat but always with smiles on their faces! What a blessing it was to us and we would highly recommend National Home Improvements to anyone for good workmanship and great work ethics--cleaning up each day before leaving our house. National Home Improvements was the lowest quote I got but it was not the main reason I chose them. After inspecting my roof, Ralph was the only person who suggested to move the Skylight from the roof's so they wont leak in the future, which he later did and was still under cost. Work started on time and continued uninterrupted until completion. Ralph did the last visual inspection and only before the final payment was made. I will use National Home Improvements in the future for roof inspection. I highly recommend National Home Improvements!

Ralph and his entire crew were reliable and responsive; and the siding project was fairly priced, finished on schedule and looks amazing! The crew was always on time and on the job site every day until the project was completed; often stayed late if needed. Our new Hardie board siding looks amazing; it's like a new home. My wife and I moved from Jersey City and bought a house in Middletown that needed some work and are so happy we hired National Home Improvements. The owner Ralph (and his foreman Eric) is the consummate professional and a great guy. He spent the time to go through what we wanted to accomplish with the project and quoted us a great price. I think we signed the contract on a Friday and the dumpster for demo was in our driveway by Tuesday. In our project we renovated the entire upstairs (including hardwood floors), reconstructed the stairway , replaced our front door and renovated our refinished basement (including carpeting and electrical). We are thrilled with the quality of the work and plan on hiring him again. This was our first major renovation and Ralph took the time to explain and guide us through it. The one area that we most appreciated was the regular communication keeping us updated on the progress and the inevitable issues that come up in a big project. Can't recommend Ralph and National Home Improvements enough! Everyone did a fantastic job and we could not be more pleased. My husband was a builder for years so he tends to be a bit more picky than most and was very happy with all the work that was completed. Guys showed up when Ralph said they would, all worked very hard to get our job done in a timely manor without sacrificing on workmanship. We had 29 Wincore 7700 Series replacement windows installed. Initially my husband was concerned with the quality of the window (because they aren't Anderson) but we are quite pleased with them! We will be giving them a call for any future projects we may have!!

We are expecting our first child, and came to terms with the fact we needed to do an overdue complete renovation to our house. After meeting with 6 other contracting companies to do our renovation we began to feel deterred, UNTIL we met Ralph and his crew! He was a gift sent from God for my husband and I. I am by far an easy customer, but Ralph understood my vision and jumped through leaps and bounds to help me achieve my DREAM HOME! Ralph personally kept in contact with us to let us know how things were moving along! I never had to call and inquire myself. I was never left wondering '' whats going on?''He was always available to my never ending questions. " Don't worry Jenn I'm just a phone call away" he would tell me. He would always ease my worried mind with his self assurance and confidence in his team. He really understood the worry and stress an excepting mother was under! I hired National to do a Complete inside & out Renovation, Siding, Roofing, Windows, Entry door, Kitchen & baths. First, there were No high pressure tactics, the Estimator didnt come in wearing a shirt & tie w All hard closing Sales, but No Construction knowledge- NO! Came dressed as an Upscale Contractor- Nice pr of Jeans, a Company Polo shirt etc & gave me the Company Story, then was going outside to measure & asked if I'd like to join him, as that way I could help him if he needed, but so I could describe Exactly how I wanted the Exterior to look. It was Obvious he Knew what he was talking about as he had the same exact Idea's & Suggested a few that would Really Seperate My home from All the others. He then came inside, I forced him to eat with Me, as I knew he must have been hungry, & I'm Italian, I love to feed people w my Famous Meatballs & Sauce. After Dinner, he was a such a Gentleman, as he began to demonstrate the Superior Quality of The Windows, The Siding, the Entire Roofing System & The Entry door, he had a catalog for the doors but also a suitcase that had each Component of the door. As far as the Kitchens and bath, it was just so late that we agreed to make an immediate Follow up Appt for those. He gave an Estimate though for the Roofing System, New Gutters, Sising Door & 28 New Energy efficient windows that were FULLY Loaded with ALL of the most energy saving additions, He gave me a copy of their Insurance and as ANY Honest Contractor does- He told me that National would obtain ALL Building Permits. To be Perfectly honest- it wasn't cheap, but, You get what you pay for & as I had learned over my life, trying to cut on quality due to meet a price point has caused me to buy Several things Not Once, like i could have if I spent the $$, but Twice!! They weren't CRAZY High, maybe $6k above the lowest estimate and $5k less than the Ripoff Companies, So, he didn't even have to ask me, I picked my colors, signed & gave him a check. The next day The Owner Ralph called to say Thank you, he gave me HIS cell # & told me if I had ANY questions to feel free to call Him! So, then came the estimate for the Kitchen & Bathroom Complete rip out & redo. Again, My estimator had come back, went over everything in detail & about an Hr in, my doorbell rang, & it was Ralph The Owner. Such a nice, sincere Guy. He wanted to see how All was going & put a Face with the name & number. Not many Companies, except usually the one man band working out of his home does such a thing. Again, He stayed, gave the estimate, again I signed, picked my colors, & Ralph said he'd have the Architect get on this Immediately, as Special Beams need to be in place as I was chinging the entire layout & this home is old. About 3wks I was called w a Start date, I was thrilled. Sure to Ralph's word the project started That day w the roofing and gutters, next day the Windows. Then the Bathroom - which besides there being a foreman on the job, again Ralph made it a point to show up & make absolutely sure that I was happy. Again, this made me Very happy. They did the Siding the day after ripping out the Bathroom & also ripped out the Kitchen. 2 days later, crews were here to frame out the new Kitchen & bath,the electrician & plumber were doing the extensive wiring & plumbing needed. Next morning they put up the new drywall. The next morning they sanded the walls, washed them as needed, layed the special concrete flooring panels for the floors in the kitchen and bath. The project went off without ANY Issues. The owner Ralph was here at least 3x's a week & did a Final walktrough inspection to make sure i was 110% Happy. Which obviouly, I am! . My advice is to Not waste your precious time going through needless,6hr painful Sales pitch Circus Appts. Make Your First call to National Home Improvements, you'll be thrilled you did.

Including Cedar Shake siding trim crown copper work all around windows all the doors custom trimmed all the soffits custom all the mahogany work around the soffits well the mahogany underneath I might bead boards all the albums that were made all the columns that we're done next slate Roofing all the copper crickets valleys hips ridges all the custom slate colors all the patterns all the designs all the metal clad that was used and it stalled all the blue skin that was installed this company perform over and above anybody I've ever seen I would rate him out a hundred out of a scale of 1 to 10 could never write anybody higher than this gentleman at his and his crew and the respect and courtesy that his employees had. Ralph is both a wonderful contractor and a terrific person. He kept me sane throughout a major renovation ( kitchen, bathrooms, plumbing, HVAC, trim, siding, floors, painting, windows, master suite, electrical) and thanks to him, I have a beautiful and cozy home. There were problems that our engineer overlooked prior to purchasing the house and were it not for Ralph's expertise we would have had a dangerous mold and electrical issue. The moment Ralph walked through the front door I knew he would be our contractor. We had interviewed three others before him and there was always something missing. Ralph exuded warmth and a confidence that we had not felt with anyone else. He understood what we wanted, made suggestions and explained from the very start what we would encounter as we started this project. My husband and I bought a 50-year-old house that surprised us with unexpected problems and required major renovations. We replaced all the floors, wiring, lights , renovated and enlarged bathrooms, enlarged a bedroom and added a walk in closet, completely renovated the kitchen, removed a fireplace, added a glass sliding door, replaced interior doors, crown molding and base molding, re-sided the house and so much more. No one warned me how stressful this would be but Ralph practically held my hand as the construction got underway and calmed me down through at least one major meltdown. He was there for me through the tears as well as through all the exciting and wonderful developments as the project grew and the house we envisioned came into focus. I truly believe that he was just as excited as we were. We moved into the house on December 22 and on Christmas day the plumbing backed up. No shower, no toilets. We stayed in a hotel that night but it was Ralph who had a plumber there for us when we got home the next morning. Ralph employs the best workers and used the best materials for our home and it shows. The finished house has gone beyond our expectations because Ralph has been incredibly generous. We thank him for his patience and understanding and say from the bottom of our hearts that our relationship does not end when the last contractor leaves the house. We have become friends for life and both my husband and I realize how lucky we are to have found such a wonderful person and such a professional and competent contractor.

I contacted Ralph (owner) of National Home Improvements in late September, desperate for a contractor for what became a major remodeling project. He was over-scheduled, but remember me and my predicament and contacted me when he could squeeze my project. He is truly the best construction professional I've ever worked with, and I have quite a history of being ripped off in this industry. He does everything -- soup to nuts. His crews are remarkably competent and professional. Ralph is a man of impeccable integrity. He gives the best advice, regardless of his profit margin. He works with consumers to minimize costs without cutting corners. I have insufficient words to describe how much I recommend his company. I hope he can expand capacity because there are people lining up for his services. To sum up, I would feel completely comfortable leaving a blank check in my home and telling him to fill in the amount I owe him. He's that excellent and honest. You will not find a contractor with more integrity than Ralph. The remodel was more of a project than we expected (not Ralph's fault) but he is skilled in all aspects of house building and remodeling.

National home improvements redid our kitchen and living room. An excellent job by Ralph and Co. The estimate was fair and the entire work was complete in a reasonable timeframe. Couple of special mentions: Ralph's exceptional responsiveness to customers needs and his worker's workmanship and accountability. These are rare to find. Kitchen cabinets provided were top notch quality with lot of fine work. High quality granite countertops were also given with our package. We are very satisfied.

Ralph Favilla did a full remodel on the first two floors of our condominium, including a complete gut and rebuild of our kitchen and a master bathroom. He also installed all new trim, stair rails, refinished the hardwood floors, and painted all ceilings and walls. It was quite an extensive overhaul. We also evaluated two other contractors, but chose Ralph after meeting him. All of our interactions with Ralph were enjoyable and we got to know him very well. National is as reliable as they come to being perfect. We did a complete renovation of our kitchen and master bedroom and we couldn't be happier. They mad my kitchen into my DREAM kitchen!! The bathroom was equally as fantastic. From the concept to the construction everything was very easy, of course there is always something that comes up but they made it very seamless to fix. I absolutely love my new kitchen and bathroom. I will use national for all my other projects coming up. A big thank you!

I usually do not write reviews on company's. I felt I had to this time, only because i felt that National Home improvements, and their owner Ralph went out of their way to help me. I talked to Ralph and let him know I was flipping this house, and had a budget, and a time frame. He spend hours with me going over options. He helped me design the project in my budget. This was only my third house flip, and by far my best experience. Job was completed on schedule. Great workmanship, and value. Thank you National Home Improvements. Highly recommended.

National did a wonderful job on our kitchen and bathroom. The quality of the workmanship was excellent . We were so pleased of the communication between us and the contractor, which made the whole process easier and more comfortable. My husband and I waited a long time to do this project and we were very nervous, thankfully we choose National. The thing that stood out for us was the finish work, the detail which was so precise and beautiful it made our project look amazing. We have had experience with a number of contractors over the years. Our latest project was to finish our basement of 2500 square feet, complete with an eat-in chef's kitchen, serving area and bar. National was able to provide us with some very creative ideas and options. They were instrumental in our design and worked closely and collaboratively with us through the entire process. They helped us create our dream and then made it a reality for us. This has become our go-to entertaining space and we just love it!!! We couldn't be happier with the end product, true attention to detail throughout. The craftsmanship was second to none. They really take pride in their work, as if they were doing it for their own home -- which was nice to see. My husband and I were so impressed with the level of transparency we received from National. We always knew what to expect and when to expect it. We felt in good hands. I couldn't say that about some other companies I have dealt with over the years. We would surely use National again for our next project.

We interviewed three company's for new windows, siding, kitchen and bathroom. The process was a very interesting learning experience. Each contractor had their own way of suggesting ideas and solutions. We finally decided to go with Ralph at National Home Improvements based on the level of comfort he gave us, his vision and he was very accommodating. National Home Improvements wasn't the cheapest or most expensive but right in the middle. From start to finish everything went very well as he and his crews were excellent to deal with while keeping our home clean. Our house is now our pride and joy thanks to the people at National Home Improvements!!
