New Creations Custom Kitchen and Bath

Roy and the staff at New Creations are an amazing team. They have an incredible process that just made everything so easy. Every single person I came in contact with, from Erin, the designer, to Oscar, the project manager, and all the installers were incredibly professional and just a joy to work with. I can’t recommend New Creations highly enough. (And, just FYI so you’re prepared… Roy is really handsome y’all.)

We hired Roy to redesign and completely remodel our master bathroom and make some updates to our kitchen. I cannot say enough good things about the entire process. Erin’s designs and taste in materials are excellent and I could not be happier with the way the bathroom was transformed. The entire process was very easy and smooth and I didn’t feel as if I needed to babysit the job to make sure things got done or done correctly. The entire team is professional, clean and very friendly and I enjoyed working with all of them. The bathroom and kitchen turned out beautifully and the job was done quicker than they first anticipated. If I ever have another bathroom or kitchen remodel, I will definitely be using New Creations and I highly recommend them to others. They may be higher priced than some of the competition, but you get what you pay for and they were worth every single dime!

I contracted with NEW CREATIONS last year to remodel a new condo I had bought and had plans to move into. Having been through one medium-sized and another small remodel project years ago and from talking to many friends over the years who had shared their experiences with remodel jobs, my expectation was that this would drag out an excruciatingly long time and the results, while maybe satisfactory, would probably be less than what I dreamed of in regards to quality. But after reading their reviews and interviewing them, I was crossing my fingers for more. With COVID-19 unexpectedly happening, Austin inspections going crazy, and numerous add-orders I added to the original job, my project did take a long time. But every minute it took was worth the quality craftmanship and results. I can only say WOW! It's been fun to see the jaws drop from every one of my friend's that saw the before and after (and I still get jaw drops from those who just see the after). Looking back and considering Roy and his team's attention to detail plus all the complicating factors, I'm actually am surprised how quickly they got the job done. While I was generally satisfied with my previous remodel projects, I am absolutely thrilled with this one. I LOVE my remodeled condo!! So far, I am really enjoying living in this space and looking forward to enjoying it long into the future!

We love our updated kitchen! New Creations transformed our cramped kitchen with limited countertop and cabinet space into a new gathering area that is now the focal point of or home. New Creations also transformed a small, dull library/bar space into something amazing. This is our second time working with New Creations. Roy Faust and his team are true professionals and committed to making everything right. We trust Roy and that was a primary consideration for us in choosing someone to remodel our kitchen. Erin Rooney presented us with 5 design/layout options to consider. This was all done on the computer so we could see the layout and elevation views of each option. Erin visualized options that that we couldn't and we could not be happier with the final product. We gained so much countertop and cabinet space! No more cramped drawers or competition for cutting board space. Erin was with us every step of the way in selecting materials and colors. She definitely has a talent that you should utilize. The cabinetry built and installed by Apollo is amazing. We had the cabinets stained and went from a natural finish to a darker look. We love the contrast of the cabinets with the lighter backsplash and counters. It really makes the kitchen look so elegant. Apollo also installed the backsplash and flooring. He is meticulous with his workmanship and you can trust him to get it right. We couldn’t be happier with investment we made in our home. Thank you NC!

I had a mess of a 1972 bath/closet/vanity table and nothing from 1972 should still be around...except for the people, of course, and the music. Roy and his team transformed these three small, cramped areas into one big, bright, beautiful, functional space that makes me jump for joy almost every time I walk in there. He and his team took my ideas and made them a reality all within budget. They jumped through all the hoops I tossed at them and creatively resolved some challenges that the small space presented. I am saving all my pennies in the hopes that sometime in the not-too-far future, I can bring them all back to work their magic on my kitchen. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed with New Creations.

So thankful that I selected New Creations – I received a couple of estimates from remodelers and one of them took 3 weeks to get back to me with a figure. Neither one of those guys was willing to coordinate any other sub-contractors like plumbers, electricians or any specialty job that needed to be done. So I would have been on my own. A friend of mine highly recommended Roy Faust and New Creations. His quote on my job came in about four thousand more than the other two quotes, but I would be getting CUSTOM CABINETS and someone who knew sub-contractors and someone who would coordinate all of them. I signed up pretty quickly with Roy. He gave me names and phone numbers of clients that he had worked for, he took me to one of his clients' houses to see the work. I was so impressed with his work and the clients that I met were so happy with his work too. The cabinet maker was an artist. All contacts that I had with anyone was a pleasure. And my kitchen? New Creations Austin did a redesign and remodel of my kitchen a couple of years ago. Roy and his team did a fantastic job from beginning to end. Sure, it cost a little more than a project manager kit from a big box store, but the result was completely worth it. Their design guidance was invaluable since I didn't really know what I wanted at the beginning. When work began, they handled every detail, welcomed my input, and even took on a couple of unrelated repairs in the process. I had little time to be involved and needed someone who could just take care of it without supervision and New Creations was up to the job. Roy even worked hard to help me stay on budget. It was a pleasure to work with everyone on this team. I got more than I hoped for and I was extremely happy! So happy, in fact, that I just began working with New Creations again on a redesign and remodel of my bathrooms. I can't wait to be as happy with them as I (still) am with my kitchen!

New Creations, in Austin, TX, did a great job on an extensive remodel of a mid 70’s home. They upgraded the electrical, plumbing, removed walls, remodeled the bathrooms and kitchen, and put in all new tile flooring. All the homes issues were addressed, and we couldn’t be happier.

Note for Roy I have the kitchen of my dreams, thanks to New Creations. Roy, Erin, and Apollo give you service that you just can’t find anymore. We have done small and large remodels over the years, and we have never received service like we did with this top-notch team. From the beginning of design to the end product, they worked with us every step of the way. Roy was great about letting us know what they were doing and when they were doing it. Erin was always available if we had questions. Apollo and his team were unobtrusive and left a clean workspace every night. They are professional, experienced, trustworthy, and service-oriented. We will be using this team in the future. I highly recommend New Creations!

Roy and his team did a fantastic job! We had a large remodeling project which included our kitchen, master bathroom, powder room and outdoor grill. We signed off on the finished projectmid-September of 2018. Five months later only a few items need to be addressed. Overall, our experience with the New Creations crew has been very positive. The process was lengthy but the thing I noticed most about Roy, the reason I chose to have NC remodel two bathrooms, is his attitude. Roy strives for the “like new” look and isn’t happy till you are. Too many times contractors have a “good enough” outlook. Roy has surrounded himself with talented people, especially Apollo, who runs the construction part of the remodel. As any growing company may experience, there were occasionally communication and subcontractor issues. However, I encourage you to talk to the crew at New Creations and form your own opinions. But know that their positive approach is infectious and they stand by their craftsmanship!

I highly recommend working with Roy and New Creations for a home remodel project. His services are pricey, but he has a strong commitment to quality and doing things right (including follow up on questions/issues after the project is complete). Erin was great to work with through the design phase, as well as material selection. She was very helpful in talking through space usage and coming up with ideas for how to use our space more effectively. Roy is very organized and a good communicator through the planning and construction phase. I feel like his project management skills set him apart from other contractors I have previously worked with. He dealt with all communication and scheduling with the subcontractors, permitting, etc which made the process hassle-free for us. He has a good set of subcontractors that he works with, and they would consistently leave our living and construction spaced clean during the project. I didn't give 5 stars because there were a couple concerns I recognized and escalated during construction that weren’t investigated until they were trying to wrap up the project (4-6 weeks later). As I had anticipated, they required more complicated fixes to address that then pushed out the completion of the project by a month because his teams had already moved on to the next project, so it was delayed to get them scheduled back to make the corrections. Whereas, if they had investigated when the concern was raised, those corrections could have been done in parallel with the remaining tasks without incurring delay. This was just a frustration for us – the end result was a high-quality bathroom remodel that met our expectations.
