We started talking with Bob Dion, who setup an appointment to get all the details for our kitchen remodel, plans, measurements, etc. Then gave us a very detailed quote of which clearly stated all the pieces included and all that we pay for. We depended a lot on their expertise, and what would best fit our space. Each step along the way, Rob, our professional remodeler, explained what was done that day, and what was going to be done the next day or week. He covered our space to prevent dust, and cleaned up thoroughly each afternoon before leaving. We were told when to pick out cabinets and when to order the floors and appliances. And he inspected each upon arrival. Rob's workmanship was spot on. Floor, cabinets, appliances and tile installations were all done with precision and care. We understood why there was a wait to use NJR, it was well worth it.

We loved working with Chris and his crew so much on our first bathroom we had them do our second bathroom. Everything went just as smooth as last time. My wife and I appreciate the care put into minimizing the construction chaos and keeping things as organized as possible. New Jersey Remodelers remodeled our kitchen in the summer / fall of 2024 and we are very happy with the result. This was a large complex project involving; vaulting ceilings, laying tiling in the foyer and kitchen, complete gut of the kitchen with the installation of an island, new appliances. The team were highly knowledgeable and brought their experience to advise us on key design decisions. They helped advise on everything from counter depths, to clearances to lighting, both aesthetics as well as the practicalities of efficient usage of space in a kitchen. The team’s attention to detail was impressive, pointing out things that we would have otherwise overlooked at the time, whether it was symmetry, heights of certain fixtures or placement of appliances. The team showed integrity, going out of their way to do what was right for us. In one case, having the electrician to come back to add more light fixtures after they had reviewed some of the electricians initial work and recommended to us that there were options for enhancing - a cost which they absorbed. We were also impressed by the level of cleanliness of the worksite. After each day, floors were swept and vacuumed. The team has a network of trusted partners that produces high quality work with whom they have worked with for decades. This includes plumbers and electricians as well as appliance sellers. The team was able to negotiate competitive deals on our kitchen appliances that we could not match elsewhere. The team had our backs when working with appliance vendors - we had some small imperfections on the appliances that were delivered and they took charge of the full replacement process, leveraging their relationships with their vendors. The team were communicative and friendly, and it felt less like having workers in our house than a family. They went to great lengths to set our expectations upfront, and were transparent in the process. Unlike many other construction teams, they aim to limit the number of jobs they do at once, which means that there’s little risk of delay from the team spreading themselves thin across multiple job-sites. The flip side of this is that they have a backlog for work. We had to wait but it was certainly worth it. We would certainly have the team back. Thanks for everything NJ Remodelers!

I booked North Jersey Remodelers in April of 2023. Knowing they were booked out more than a year before they could start my Kitchen. But I saw the quality of work I would get from them which made it well worth the wait. From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Rob was always at my house on time, made sure to cover my furniture so that there wasn't any sheetrock dust or debris in my living room. He made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way and was prepared for all aspects of the job. He pays attention to detail made sure everything was perfect and the end result really showed how meticulous he is in his work. It's hard to find contractors that you can trust and show up every day to perform this level of work. North Jersey Remodelers has continued to exceed our expectations. We worked with Chris and Bob back in 2021 with our kitchen renovation. We were so impressed with their professionalism, expertise, and patience, that we asked them to come back to renovate 2 bathrooms, living room and bedroom. All these rooms needed updating. The bedroom and living room needed additional work to get the walls and ceilings perfectly smooth. Both Chris and AJ worked tirelessly to correct the imperfections in these rooms. They removed carpet, laid vinyl tiles, and painted these rooms which brightened up the entire second floor. Next, the transformation in the second floor bathroom is just overwhelming to see. It is modern, light, airy and adding clear, frameless glass doors has really opened the space up. The folks at AMG Glass in Fairlawn were very helpful with this process. All three rooms tie in nicely to one another and I’m proud for anyone to come in and see. I will always use North Jersey Remodelers for future projects. This is my second time with North Jersey Remodelers, as they renovated my kitchen in 2021. We were so pleased I knew I would use them again for my bathroom. Again, Chris did a fantastic job! Chris, AJ, and Rob are simply the best. We wanted to update our kitchen and spoke to a few different companies, but kept coming back to North Jersey Remodelers for a few reasons. Their honesty, professionalism, and the care they put into their work. There was never an email or text that went unanswered and they always put my husband and I at ease when it came to making decisions. Rob did a great job. Very good attention to detail. Results were better than we could have hoped for. They did total Reno of kitchen and dining room. Took down load bearing wall and tore rooms to studs and rebuilt from scratch.

A little back story to this review. When NJRs first came to our house in late Aug '22 they told us the earliest they could start our kitchen remodel would be late summer or early fall of '23. In the interim our kitchen pipes froze and broke. We told our plumber he didn't have to cover everything under the sink because we're getting it remodeled anyway. He asked, "When?" We told him what we were told. He said, "get another contractor." Well, we didn't and I'm telling you it was well worth the wait. Rob did a terrific job. We always felt he had our best interests in mind during the project. If you're ambivalent about your start time your patience will pay off. Ultimately our kitchen was started earlier than projected. Working from home and having a baking business out of my home means I am in my kitchen 80% of my days. Renovating was a big deal for us, the biggest thing we had ever planned on doing. I was obviously super nervous about the whole thing. So much went on with this project, ripping everything down to nothing and a complete redesign of the entire space. I can’t say enough about how amazing it was to work with Bob & Chris on this project. Chris did a phenomenal job on everything, I mean everything. He guided us every step of the way, explaining everything he was doing and what would be done each day as it progressed. We got to check things out each day to make sure we were happy with the work and the progress. I hired North Jersey Remodelers to remodel my small laundry room and main floor bathroom. Rob did an awesome job! He has high standards and strives for excellence in his work--and it shows. We are so thrilled with the bathroom remodel that we completed with the help of North Jersey Remodelers. This is the second project they have completed for us, the first being our kitchen 7 years ago. Our home was built in 1962 and with that comes the need for a number of updates. Chris was able to take our outdated and ugly bathroom from 1962 and modernize it to meet the needs (and building codes) of 2023. Rob did a fantastic job converting our old hall closet upstairs into a second full bathroom for our home. The job was done fast & professional & the results were amazing. The new bathroom is gorgeous; the tile work on the floor & in the shower is beautiful. They we're also very clear on when & what was being done & was going to be done next. They also did a wonderful job patching up the other parts of the house affected by the job, new plumbing had to be run through the house to the second floor & you would never guess that just the other day the walls in the room below were opened up.

Our new bathroom is just completed and we couldn’t be happier! North Jersey Remodelers is an excellent company. This is the second job they’ve done for us. From the first phone to call to the final wipe down of the completed kitchen, Bob and Chris Dion were top notch the whole way. During their first visit, Chris got right to work taking measurements and they talked us through a number of options for a full redesign of our kitchen. A few days later, they walked us step-by-step through the plan and all of the costs. Their overall estimate was highly competitive and their pay-as-we-go approach gave us confidence that these were the rights guys for the job. Our renovation was scheduled to start in February 2023, but Bob reached out to us in November 2022 and said they could start in December if we wanted. So, instead of starting in February, our job was fully complete in February! The entire job took 8 weeks and along the way Chris did everything by the book and by the time he said he would. From contacting the town inspectors, to coordinating the plumber and electrician, to taking delivery of the appliances, Chris handled the logistics. While the final choices for floor tile, countertops, backsplash, etc. was always ours, Chris's input and pictures from previous jobs were consistently helpful. As for the work itself, it was top notch. He even helped us out with a couple of smaller jobs unrelated to the kitchen at entirely fair prices. Chris sweats the details and it shows in the final result. We're fully satisfied with our new kitchen and would not hesitate to hire them again. In fact, they're doing our main bathroom next!

We are thrilled with our new kitchen, dining room and foyer that Chris just finished. Ten years ago Robbie did an excellent job on our master bathroom so we knew the quality of their work when we decided to renovate our three rooms. Chris was a perfectionist at his work and knowledgeable with carpentry, tiling, and all facets of construction. He coordinated all the appliance and countertop deliveries. He was very clean and made sure that he cleaned up each day and before he left he would call both of us and go over everything he did and what he was going to work on the next day Chris is a very conscious person and always came in with a big smile and good morning each day. It was amazing how Chris calculated our flooring to match each of our rooms. We loved Chris so much my husband ask his dad Bob if we could adopt him. Thank you again Chris for such an AWESOME JOB.

This job was flawless from start to finish. My husband got this team from an in town recommendation and we got a call back from Bob Dion right away. They scheduled an appointment at my home and got right to designing my kitchen. After seeing the design and working with Bob it was a no-brainer in booking them as our team. Rob did an absolutely magnificent job on my new kitchen!!! The job involved completely redesigning the space: removing an interior wall to combine the kitchen and dining room into one, and removing exterior windows to allow for more cabinets and counter space. Moving the location of the major appliances was also necessary for a more functional design and to make room for an enormous island and wine/coffee bar. The finished kitchen is simply spectacular -- beautiful tile work and crown moulding really take it up a notch. The engineered hardwood floor transitions beautifully into the existing hardwood in the adjoining rooms. I just couldn't be happier with end result! Highly, highly recommend them!!!

North Jersey Remodelers just finished renovating our ensuite bathroom. Demo down to the studs and then rebuilt with quality work done from the inside out to the final finish. Great family owned business. Met with Bob in May 2021 to remodel our kitchen. He was extremely helpful with ideas to layout the kitchen to make the most use of our space. The proposal was organized so it was plain to see what they covered vs. my costs so we understood the full picture. Chris was the contractor who completed our project. He called and gave us the overall process flow to ensure we knew what to expect. He communicated every day what was accomplished that day and what to expect for the upcoming days. Hands down one of the best contractors I've ever worked with. Robert Dion and His son Chris were very patient and professional throughout the entire bathroom remodel. First of all the work was top notch, and second to none. But I was most impressed with the level of communication Bob and Chris provided throughout the job. It was so great working with Bob n Chris on remodeling my kitchen . From day one to completion everything went perfectly. I liked the fact that they are father n son( a family company) and they are doing all the work themselves. The work started and ended on time with no change to the budget. All inspections were on time. We've had two kitchens redone by Rob Dion and couldn't be happier with how they both turned out. Rob was very professional and was able to complete the job on time despite some unexpected issues with the house. One thing I'd like to mention is that we have 4 animals and a 2 year old and I really appreciated how clean/safe the work area was after each day. Hope to hire them again soon to do our bathroom.

We met with Bob for our estimate, and Chris was the contractor who managed and completed our project. We first met with them and scheduled our job and then had to postpone it for a couple of years after giving them a deposit. Bob returned our deposit even though he didn't have to. When we were once again ready, we didn't hesitate to give them our business. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work and the speed of it. Our bathroom was gutted on May 29 and completed on July 2, 2019. The only thing still to come is the custom shower enclosure. Chris coordinated all the moving parts and was here every day to work and to oversee anything that he didn't do himself (which was not much). He even went the extra mile and tested (and cleaned out!) our drains after installing the sink. This issue had nothing to do with the work he did; it was an existing problem. NJ Remodelers was recommended to us by a friend, and we would gladly recommend them for a kitchen or a bath remodel. We needed help with some of the unusual aspects of the design and Bob fit the bill by giving us lots of options from his years of experience. They are honest, trustworthy, and very communicative at every step of the project. Chris made sure we were satisfied with everything--a trait that I have not seen before with the many contractors I have hired over the years. Every day, Chris was a pleasure to work with due to his cheerful attitude and the fact that he really enjoys his job. He went over everything he had done and was going to do each day. He put up with all my nit-picking without complaint and delivered a beautiful bathroom in a challenging, small space. NJR is generous about passing their contractor's discount along to their customers for tile, fixtures, and anything else that they can buy at a lower price, so the cost is very reasonable and fair. They recommend suppliers who they have relationships with and know are reliable. Chris knows how to keep the project running as smoothly as possible. I hired North Jersey Remodelers to fully renovate my kitchen and am more than pleased with the final result. They first helped design the new kitchen which was super helpful. Chris was punctual every day, and gave me daily updates on the progress so far and what was to be completed the following day, so I always knew what was going on and what to expect. He was also super tidy and made sure to keep the place neat and safe for my small children when he left for the day. They are professionals not only with their physical work, but also with their communication with the client. Any changes I had or "custom" work I wanted, they made it happen, no questions. When we bought our house two years ago, we hated the bathrooms. The house is only 8 years old but some poor choices had been made in the way it was furnished. I was very persnickety about what I wanted for our two bathroom renos. I had picked out all the tiles, vanities, lights, a chandelier, everything for both. We had met a few other contractors first and we were always disappointed and nervous to use any of them. Then North Jersey Remodelers blew the doors off all of them in the first meeting. First of all, they are very communicative throughout the entire process. They also break down all the steps and you pay as each phase is successfully completed, assuring everyone is happy with the process. No one else was this organized and assuring. They are also very sweet. I worked with Chris Dion, and sometimes Bob would pop by and see how it was going, since he has decades of experience. And the two of them would be up there working singing oldies tunes together. Adorable! Our tile jobs were very unusual. Downstairs bathroom has a tile pattern that can be attached at least 3 different ways. It's a beautiful head explosion, because it's one row upright, the next row flipping the tile and mirroring each other. It's gorgeous. They did a great job with it. Then upstairs I wanted hexagons into chevrons. Everything came out beautifully. They also have much expertise in bathroom design. Like when I questioned placements or positions of things like towel racks or shelving, they had great advice. I really trusted them. Another note, they did everything to minimize mess and dust, which is a thoughtful and meticulous perk, because no matter what it gets everywhere. They are the best. Can not wait to show these rooms off!

My husband and I inquired about a backsplash for our kitchen renovation; Chris gave us pointers when choosing a backsplash(type of tile; ceramic, marble etc. as well as the ups and downs of each) Chris was able to give us an estimate and book our project within the same day. Chris Dion’s remodel of our fifty-plus-year-old kitchen met and surpassed all our expectations. The project started when Bob and Chris spent two evenings at our home, explaining their process, answering our questions, measuring the rooms, and offering suggestions. Bob then drafted one of the most thorough and detailed service contracts we had ever seen, and walked us through the entire document, section by section. Right then, it was obvious to my husband and me that we had finally found experienced, honest, and competent contractors who knew how to run a business. The project was started and completed on time and according to schedule, even though it was interrupted by two major holidays. Chris and his staff followed a consistent schedule and were onsite every day. Chris never left my home without explaining in detail the work he had done that day and the status of the project. When I couldn’t find the right sink, Bob called his contacts, found me one, and purchased it on his own credit card. When we decided to add a TV to the project, Chris helped me find one, then purchased the wall mount for me at a discount and mounted the TV on the wall without charge, even though that was not part of the original deal. Honesty and professionalism were the two most important things I looked for when I was scouting contractors to tackle a 2 bath/kitchen project my sister wanted to do. From the night I met Bob and Chris they both assured us that the end result will look beautiful - they did not disappoint! If problems arise during demolition (always do with any reno) they address it with you and discuss all possible solutions. We had many surprises in each of the rooms renovated but they made sure it was fixed and done right! They have an excellent team (plumbing/electrical) that they work very close with who are also very honest and professional. Bob Dion has a wealth of experience in home renovations. He was incredibly receptive to our ideas and willing to entertain our suggestions on how to create a kitchen that met our vision. From the day we scheduled work (late January 2018) to when work began (mid-March), his son Chris kept the line of communication open and was very organized. It was tough to find a contractor willing to tackle our small (96 sq. ft.) kitchen in a 1950s lake cabin, but Chris solved each little problem as he encountered it. We've used North Jersey Remodelers, Inc. several times over the years, and each time they have shown themselves to be excellent at what they do... The first time we used them was about 6 years ago, to repair a bathroom that was basically destroyed by a leaky pipe, located in a interior wall. They literally had to strip the bathroom down to the studs and rebuild from there. The job they did was truly magnificent and they were equally as good! From start to finish, they were professional; they kept us constantly informed as to what was going on, their quote was right on the money (no unexpected conditions that increased the cost), and the job was finished exactly when they projected it would be. Based on their performance in the bathroom, we hired them to replace a drop ceiling in our dining room, which had been damaged by a leaky roof around 4 years ago. Once again, their work was absolutely perfect... Then, 2 years ago, we hired them to remove wall paper and then repair and paint the walls in a large portion of our house. As per their norm, the job turned out even better than we expected. I can't say enough about them! Their professionalism, skill, attention to detail, performance and communication skills are all top notch. I can honestly say that everything they have done for us has turned out so much better than we hoped. In today's world of the "good enough" work ethic, when was the last time you heard that? North Jersey Remodelers were recommended to us through a colleague of my wife's. We really needed some work done on our house. We needed a new kitchen and our basement had been wrecked by Hurricane Irene back in 2011 and we were in need of turning that back into a usable space. Bob from the company came over to give us his estimate and we really liked what he had to say. Oh, did I mention that my wife was pregnant and due in September? Bob said he could do it and we believed him and boy are we glad we did. There is one thing I also need to mention. Our stairs to the basement were in the kitchen and we wanted to move them. That was no easy task but they accomplished it and nobody would ever know our stairs used to be in the kitchen. The work they did was outstanding. Bob and his two sons, Rob and Chris, did all the work with the exception of the electrical (they use a trusted electrician who has worked with them for years) work. I couldn't be happier with our new kitchen. They worked on the house while we were on vacation, they worked with our schedule when our baby decided to make his appearance. They worked and worked and got the job done and made sure we were happy. What is really great is they don't subcontract. You know who will be entering your house. You know you are going to be happy when the job is done. When it came time to do the basement (they had to do one at a time because of the stairs) I couldn't have been more amazed. The old wires that ran all over the place, the barren landscape down there was transformed into a warm room that our family will enjoy for years to come. Oh, I should mention they put in a full bathroom in the basement as well. So, to recap, they remodeled out kitchen which included moving the stairs from that room to our garage where they created a hallway for them without losing too much space in the garage. They turned a barren, problematic basement into a fantastic area complete with storage areas, full closet, full bathroom and laundry area. They guarantee all of their work and don't subcontract so you know who is doing the work at all times. I honestly can't say enough about these guys. They did a spectacular job (we already recommended them to my brother-in-law who hired them to do his kitchen) and would hire the in an instant to do anything around our house. Though our relationship started out as business I feel as though I can call them friends and would recommend them to anyone. If you are looking for work to be done reliably, to have it done right and for some good, honest guys to do that work then you need not look any further than North Jersey Remodelers. Our children used Bob Dion and his sons to renovate their houses. Bob and his sons did such a wonderful job that we had our master bathroom renovated. We had our bathroom completely gutted and Bob promised us it would be done in three weeks. That was perfect for us since our daughter and son in law were due for their first baby in a month. They gutted the walls, shower, vanity section, counter tops and electrical lighting and painting. Everyday Rob would say the baby is coming and we have to get this bathroom done.
