I can say enough about Tom and the crew at Pacific Coast!! I work for Houzz so I was very impressed when we read all of the raving reviews! Then I found out Tom actually lived in my community and was super excited to meet him!! Tom is a true professional! He was so empathetic to that fact that we had an unfortunate flood happen which essentially destroyed our kitchen. It was a very traumatic experience. Once we met Tom and he made us feel like we are family we knew he was the one for us. He sent over his lovely designer Marie who helped put our ideas to life on paper! She is a true Gem!! Tom was going to get this kitchen back in shape and gorgeous the quickest way possible and he delivered!! He told us we would be up and running in 8 weeks and no joke I think it was literally to the day he finished!! The finished product is absolutely gorgeous and the kitchen of our dreams

My wife and I hired Eileen, Tom, and Trish from Pacific Coast Custom Design to help us remodel our condo in Corona Del Mar. Bottom-line they are the best from start to finish. This was a remodel of our 2nd home that is 6 hours away. The entire process was great. Eileen worked with my wife and I to design our beach condo that is so unique and special we just love it. Trish worked tirelessly to make sure everything we ordered arrived on time and Tom is an amazing hands-on general contractor. Eileen, Tom and Trish are now part of the family. After a remodel, sometimes the relationship can become soured, not ours. We are all on a group chat and they continue to help keep an eye on the condo when we need them to look at something. If you want to do a remodel in the Newport area, they are the ones to call. We talked to 6 different contractors and from the moment we met with Eileen, we felt so comfortable with her and she saw the vision we had for the condo and helped to make it even better. During the remodel which took about 4 months, the communication was great, and they continued to go above and beyond. I remember when I did a reference check, one client said they were “too good to be true” and that sums it up about Pacific Coast Custom Design. What I also like about PCCD, is they are a small family owned business, not some big company, so you get personalized service and the finish work is beautiful. All I can say is hire them.

I love my new kitchen!!! They did the best cabinets I could’ve ever asked for. They had everything planned and organized and came in efficiently to complete the project which was great having small kids at home. Their design team has great ideas and insight and help me to plan out the remodel well. They’ve been doing this for over 20 years and they made sure every detail was covered, I didn’t have to worry about anything. I was in such good hands with them. They found everything within my price point and got it exactly how I wanted it to look. They also did some wonderful tile work on the backsplash. They have some very talented employees that do wonderful work. I love them so much I’m planning on rehiring them to do my fireplace and my master bathroom. Thank you PCC!

I can't say enough about both the work and the staff of PCCD. We had them remodel much of our living room, our bedroom and one of our bathrooms. They were very professional, left the areas clean after they finished and the work was beautiful. The biggest thing for me was that they listened to us, which anyone whose had work done knows is a big deal. We are very happy in our beautiful home now and I highly recommend them.

We were so happy with the first job PCCD did for us that we asked them to take on a second project. This time it was custom cabinets for a kitchen, butler pantry, wet bar and two powder rooms. We can't say enough complementary things about Eileen's and Emily's attention to detail. They know what they're doing, and they're good at it. We didn't know exactly what type of finish we wanted for the kitchen and butler pantry, and after some collaboration at the shop, Trish suggested the perfect finish. It was complicated with many steps, but the result is so worth it. Eileen and Emily designed walnut panels for the refrigerator and wine storage that transformed the appliances into beautiful pieces of furniture. Even though our refrigerator can be seen from the front entry of our open concept modern farmhouse, no one realizes it's a refrigerator. For my powder rooms, Eileen and Emily designed walnut vanity pieces that look like well preserved antiques. They are just what we envisioned. To top it off, Tom and crew delivered a high quality, well-built beautiful product and performed expert installation. For many reasons, this was a complicated project and PCCD, once again, didn't disappoint. They are all wonderfully nice people -- a joy to work with. We'd definitely call them again, if they'd have us!

I finally have the craft room of my dreams! PCCC Design took our very plain loft and created a beautiful and functional craft room. They spent time finding out how I wanted to use the space, what types of crafting and sewing I would be doing in there and how I wanted to be able to store my materials. The design they created is absolutely perfect for my needs and it looks incredible. The quality of workmanship and the design are outstanding. They were a pleasure to work with from the design to the installation. Top notch company!

I love my new kitchen! Pacific Coast Custom Design did an amazing job from the beginning to the end and throughout each phase of the work. My kitchen came out way better than I ever imagined, it's functional and so beautiful!! Eileen patiently worked with me through all of my decisions and changes in order to come up with the perfect plan. She took the time to go over all my options and together we came up with a great final plan for 'my perfect kitchen' that fit my budget. I was so excited to get started! The work began on time, and continued on schedule throughout the entire process, with no surprises. Tom and all of the workers were professional and cleaned up after themselves each and every day, I was very impressed. The entire project was completed with very high standards. I know this sounds crazy, but it was actually a good experience, even through all of the dust! And the end result is fantastic! Thank you Eileen, Tom, Trish and every other person who worked on my project. I am very pleased with every aspect of the project, and I am thoroughly enjoying my new beautiful kitchen!! I can't thank you all enough. I highly recommend PCC Design to anyone thinking of doing a kitchen or remodel project on their home.

We hired PCC to redesign our kitchen, and they converted our very depressing kitchen into a spectacular showcase in our home. Eileen was patient with us in landing on the right design. During the project, Tom demonstrated his full range of skills in building out the kitchen. They were also kind enough to help us redo other elements of our home (e.g., fireplace and flooring), which further heightened the clean modern look of our downstairs. We highly recommend them and will hire them for future projects.

It is never pleasant to give a sub-par review. In order to remain as objective as possible, we are providing photos of the custom cabinet work done by PCC design. Our cabinets were installed less than a year ago, and the photos depict the issues with chipping and cracked paint that have been an ongoing problem since installation. We have had PCC design come back multiple times to fix chipping and cracked paint, but the problem continues to happen. It could be argued that our kitchen/bathroom does look good from 10 to 15 feet away, and unless someone is standing closer, they probably wouldn’t notice all the paint that is chipping off or the cracks in the paint finish. However, as the customer and end user, we are constantly looking at these defects on a daily basis, and don’t feel that we were given a good quality product. In addition, the 10+ doors that they had to take back to the factory were refinished with a different paint, so now some of our cabinet doors are high gloss and do not match the rest of the doors. Perhaps with better project management details such as these would not get lost. I guess the argument could be that we are the only ones that will notice, but we paid over 60K for our cabinets and really hoped they would have a more professional look versus something we could have paid less for at a big box store. There are other issues with our cabinets, such as many doors are not properly aligned. PCC has tried to adjust and fix them, but they have never been able to get them to line up quite right. Also, about 30% of our drawers have lost their soft-close mechanism over less than a year of use.
