We loved working with PK surroundings. Both Janice and Debbie were very responsive to our needs and concerns. Janice managed to tease out the type of kitchen we wanted; no easy task considering we had few design ideas ourselves and we tended to disagree on a lot! She picked up cues from visiting our (before) kitchen and integrated our love of nature and birds into her final design. Her sensitivity to as much as what was not expressed (meaning she is highly intuitive) was very impressive. Debbie was always very efficient with the administrative side of the business and rarely let a day pass before a timely email response. Overall, we cannot fault the Janice and Debbie team. We were very "green" about kitchen design and J & D were on our side, helping us make decisions that felt right. On the odd occasion that we expressed doubts or a concern about a projected design aspect, Janice was quick to address the issue in a way that left everyone happy. Thus, we never felt overruled or ignored. It was very much a team approach.

I hired PKsurroundings to design 2 bathrooms and to hire and oversee a contractor to build them. I was very pleased with the finished project. Both PK surroundings and the contractor they chose were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. The picture I've included shows the shower of one of the bathrooms where they were able to incorporate tiles that I owned.

Janice and Debbie are top notch professionals. From start to finish on our kitchen project they were super. The paid attention to our concerns and needs and made sure we were 100% satisfied. There was a mishap during installation of our microwave and even though it wasn't technically their fault- they immediately replaced it. They also located. Tiny chip on one the cabinet doors that we barely noticed and insisted on replacing this no charge to us. We love our kitchen and get tons of compliments. We highly recommend PK!

Janice and Debbie were so helpful putting together ideas for our 2 bathrooms. They were always available during the construction phase to answer questions and co-ordinate the work. It took much longer to complete than we expected but for the most part, it was due to things that were not in their control. The finished bathrooms are beautiful!
