PRO STONE

Before Covid started, my husband and I went into Prostone and ordered a quartz countertops for our kitchen. One of the countertops that we needed was a small corner area which was a single piece. When Prostone came to measure it they divided the corner area into two pieces unbeknownst to us. Months later when Prostone installed it we were upset when we realized they divided a perfectly good piece ( to his credit even the owner was not sure why the installer had done that). When it came time to install it the two pieces had been measured incorrectly and were too big. Instead of cutting the stone on the outside edges to downsize it, they decided to cut it were the two stones joined...only problem with this was the seem was not straight, they had done a "special curve" with it. Needless to stay he the installer made a mess of the stone and tried to correct it by caulking it down the middle. The installer assured us that because our countertop was white that big line of white caulking would just blend in after it dried in a day or two....it did not. We called Prostone and sent them pictures. Prostone acknowledged that the counter should not have been cut on the seam but would not assume responsibility for it and would not replace it. After much back and forth Prostone finally said they would replace it but we would have to pay 50% on top of what we had already paid. After years trying to connect them (Prostone almost never returned our calls) they finally replaced the stone today. When they came they informed us that they wanted the old countertop back (yes the one we paid in full for) or they would charge us full price for the new one. Our hands were tied and they knew it. We had no choice. Once the new countertop was completed we noticed that the caulking around the edges was left in a mess. The installer tried to fix it which made it worse... I once again sent a picture to Prostone but so far no response. We will have to pay someone to come in and redo it. Working with Prostone the last few years has been a nightmare for my family, I would not want anyone else to have to endure what we have.

This was my first major kitchen reno, and first-time sourcing counter top -- After visiting several places, I am very happy to have found the perfect kitchen counter top and island top from Pro Stone. I received a very good service from the first day I walked in up to the installation date. Pro Stone has a large variety of products and competitive prices. In addition, his installation team was equally professional. They completed the job with care. I am extremely pleased with the product and services I received from Bal Siva and his team at Pro Stone. Will definitely use them again on my next project and would highly recommend them!

The counter and installation we beyond my expectations. The staff at Pro Stone were knowledgeable and helpful. They have a good selection of products to choose from and provided us with good advice on our kitchen Reno project. It's comforting to know that they understood what I was looking for.I wouldn't hesitate to order through them again.

Ordered and paid a hefty price for a brand new counter top and sinks .After close observation I notice there was a defect or crack in the stone that somebody tried to repair. After weeks of calling and emails, the owner sent somebody out who made the damage worst . I’m not happy , it’s not fair or right . Basically I was told to deal with it, nothing they can do anymore .

Quite happy with the countertop design, Installation and the service. The owner and staffs are very friendly and co-operative to work with. The kitchen looks modern and contemporary now. Thank you.

I love love love the smokey grey that my granite counter tops came in. They are original and suit my style great.

After visiting several places, we were so fortunate to have found our perfect slab at Pro Stone - we actually designed our entire kitchen around this beautiful granite. More importantly we were very pleased with the team at Pro Stone and especially Weshna who is knowledgeable, helpful, professional and she was indeed a pleasure to do business with. We love our new kitchen counter tops. All the Pro Stone team members were very professional and helpful. Weshna is the best! She is very knowledgeable and always ready and willing to help. When there was something she had to look into (ie. scheduling, design adjustments etc.) she was prompt with her responses, always providing me answers to all my questions/concerns within half a business day or sooner. The template person and installers were good and professional. They even came up to Parry Sound from Toronto during snowstorms just to make sure they got our project completed as per their promised timeline. My wife and I are very pleased with the product and level or service from Pro Stone.

We visited ProStone at the end of 2015 and fell in love with a lovely slab of quartzite, which we paid a deposit to hold. They took our designer drawings & provided an estimate and told us they would hold 2 slabs, given the size of the job. We proceeded to design our entire kitchen around that slab - which is the centerpiece for our entire main floor. In March, I called to check in and was reassured that our 2 slabs were held and that we should come in to map out the measurements/position when we were ready to proceed. When we came to the store (a month later), we were shocked to discover that most of our slab was gone (all but 1/3 sold to someone else). We were told we could have a second slab (lesser in appearance to the original) plus the remainder 1/3, but that it would now require changing our plans by reducing our counter space and "matching" two pieces together with a seam. Given that we designed our kitchen around this stone, we didn't feel we had any another option & no other stone they carried compared (in colour and style). We were then charged $12/sq foot MORE than our original quote, which I had to request be corrected. The install took several weeks longer than we were promised with no communication about when to expect delivery. The seam (see photo) does not match even slightly and is obvious to anyone in our kitchen and is now hidden under a dish-drying mat. I was offered only $200 in compensation for all of this, and then when I called to have them repair a big crack, I was told they would not honour my warrantee until I removed the bad review I posted, based on my experiences. I did remove the review, but am now putting it back up, because I have been trying to get them to come and repair the many "pits" in the natural stone for FOUR MONTHS and no one will return my calls, voice mails or numerous emails, despite being told someone would come fix it, initially (4 months ago). I note that there are no reviews online for the last 6months and I wonder if others are having the same experience as I am.

We found Pro Stone through Homestars and are thrilled we decided to work with them. Girish was helpful, respectful and thoughtful of our project. All work was done on time and as promised. We are thrilled with our new granite counters and are delighted we chose ProStone for our kitchen project. We were on vacation when our Granit was being installed. This company took ownership and everything was done to the best of the standards and our requirement. They have a huge variety of products and competative prices. The workmanship and customer service was 10/10. Overall i would highly recommend them, my experience is 10/10

We were extremely pleased with the workmanship and the choices of granite that we could choose from. We had our countertop & island made from granite. The installation went very smoothly. The installers were very efficient, left no mess and were very professional. We have had many complimentary comments made about our kitchen renovation and especially our granite tops.
