Mark did full remodels on 7 homes from 2014 to 2017 and all were done with meticulous detail. The trim lines on the paint was perfect and there were few if any gaps in trim. Overall, Mark is very easy to work with and was gracious about making corrections when any flaws were in question. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking to do a gut remodel of a home or small jobs like kitchens or a bathroom.

I want to start out by saying that I HIGHLY recommend Redoux. When my husband and I wanted to remodel our master bathroom, we knew we needed to reach out to some experts. They were the first company we met with and immediately I wanted to work with them. I had a vision but wasn't exactly sure how to implement that vision in our 1980s bathroom. Instantly, Melissa got my vision and was sending text messages with ideas of what we could do to our bathroom. When we needed to tweak some design components, she was extremely flexible and came back with even more options. She knew EXACTLY what we wanted and kept it within the budget. When you are staying at your house during the day by yourself, it can be scary to allow a stranger into your home. I was a little nervous about the idea of random strangers being in my house for several weeks, but as soon as I started working with Mark, all of my worries went away. I put all of my trust in him. My husband and I even went on a vacation while they were demoing our bathroom and we trusted them with our keys while we were away. He did such an incredible job remodeling our bathroom. Everyday he left the house extremely tidy so that we could continue living in our home-even during the remodel. His tiling skills were absolutely incredible. If you are looking for a remodeling company that is fair, honest, efficient, and that does amazing work, then this is the company to go with. I couldn't be happier with the way our master bathroom turned out. It far exceeded my expectations. My husband and I will definitely be using Redoux for future remodels!

Absolutely loved working with both Mark & Melissa! After getting our master bathroom quoted by a few companies, Redoux was by far the best company we met with. Melissa was very patient with both my husband and I and worked through a few different design options before we decided up what was going to work best for us. None of the other companies we met with gave us any other options than what we initially asked for. I loved that Melissa heard our initial ask and then presented different designs based upon our budget and space. Once everything was finalized design-wise, Mark set a date with us and started the renovation shortly after. In the past with contractors, we always had to plan time off or work from home because of our 2 dogs but it was extremely helpful that Mark has dogs of his own so he was very mindful of them while working in the house! Mark is very tidy when working and his craftsmanship is excellent!! We couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out! He truly made our bathroom into a spa-like atmosphere. He was able to turn the space that was initially where the tub was into a HUGE shower and he turned the space where the small stand up shower was into STORAGE GALORE (something we lack in our house). Both he and Melissa are wonderful and kind people and I keep telling my husband I wish we found them sooner! Thankfully, we still have a few projects left in the house where we can put their expertise and skills to great use again!

Hi there! I think it's important to acknowledge that it can be very difficult and very stressful to choose a contractor to do a major renovation in your home. How do yo know if you'll like their design ideas? How do you know if the work will be truly quality? How do you know if the price is fair? Well, I suppose one of the things you try is reading reviews on your prospective contractors. My wife and I bought our first home in 2018 and the master bathroom was, for all intents and purposes, inoperable. We sought quotes and had design meetings with 3 companies, and ultimately made the decision to move forward with Redoux. I wish we'd known at the time just how GREAT of a decision that would turn out to be. I've included a before and after pic attached to this review, but I highly recommend you check out the before and after project on their website called "What Happens When You Go Out of Town & Give Your Contractor the Keys to Your House?". Melissa is fantastic as a designer. She was able to make adjustments to her original design ideas to align more with our tastes, and the end result is truly beautiful. What I was most impressed with though, was her communication. More than once, we even had text message conversations after 10:00pm - usually resulting in her telling us "don't stress, we got this". She made a concerted effort to make sure we were comfortable throughout the process. Our remodel was a "full gut". Mark, the hands-on contractor, took it down to the studs, found a bunch of nightmarish "stuff" behind the walls (dry rot, evidence of past insect and rodent infestations, great stuff like that), made the effort to preserve the life and integrity of our home by repairing these things and keeping us up to speed along the way. The work included all new cabinetry, floor tile, shower tile, framework, drywall texturing, lighting and electric, exterior window, and plumbing. Mark demo'd an old shower and expanded one of our master closets. He then built out an entire new shower with a bench, a new shower pan, and all new marble flooring in the shower. Ultimately, the attention to detail within the tile work is worth an extra shoutout too. We've got floor to ceiling subway tile, which Mark navigated beautifully around corners, cabinets, and the new shower structure he built. Other things that are particularly notable include but are not limited to: 1. Timeliness. Mark was there 6 days a week, usually for about 10 hours a day. He completed this entire job in under 3 weeks. 2. Trustworthiness. Most of the time, neither my wife or I was home and some of that time we were actually out of town. We gave Mark a key, asked him to help himself to drink in the refrigerator and to please not let the cat get outside. I'd make those same decisions again without hesitation. 3. Cleanliness. Mark took the necessary steps at the beginning of the job to protect our belongings in the house and to keep from damaging any walls/floors/door frames. I was continuously impressed with his daily process of cleaning up along the way. Each and every day, he left things neat and tidy, and I think the ultimate result of this was my wife and I never feeling uncomfortably messy in our own home. 4. Pricing fairness. Of the 3 quotes we received, Redoux came in the middle in terms of pricing. All other factors such as materials and timeframe should be considered equal. The lowest quote was a few thousand below Redoux, but it was a larger company with full "crews' of workers, and we did not feel that the personal attention to detail would have been made either in the design effort or in the physical execution of that vision. The high end cost was unjustifiably higher by a large amount. We perceived no additional value from the highest quoted company. We felt that both Melissa and Mark felt genuine interest towards helping us actualize the best possible version of our master bathroom in the space we have, and that made all the difference for us. In conclusion - Redoux is great and we will use them again in the future!
