Sage Surfaces

This company completely messed up my order. I was unable to create a MyProjects account to see what they were doing. I tried twice and got a message saying there was an "internal error". The man who came to create the template had no idea what my order was. I ordered two bathroom vanity tops and he went directly to the kitchen to measure the countertop. Communication is impossible with this company since they send emails which I can not open or scroll through or have information blacked out. When I cancelled my order they withheld $120. Good luck.

We used Lowes for granite countertops in our kitchen. We made the down payment on April 21st and they were installed on May 15th. I was able to use my Lowe's credit card for 5% off. Sage Surfaces did the measuring and installation and did a fantastic job. The two installers were courteous, knowledgeable, and did a great job cutting the sink hole on site. We also had two large 4 1/2 holes needed for pop up electrical and they got them perfectly lined up on the 2 islands that we have. After install we realized there was a small chip in front of the sink. I called Lowes at 8:30pm, left a voicemail, and Sage Surfaces came out around 3pm and fixed the chip the next day. You would never know the chip existed after they repaired it. Overall, I was nervous from the bad reviews, but since we had such a great experience, I wanted to make sure and send some positive feedback out there for others using this service.

This company is the absolute worst, please do not use them, they will mess up your countertop and not even work with you to make it right. Worst countertop company ever!!!

They used a substandard installer, told us we had to let the installer remedy the problem (holes drilled at different measurements) and then Closed the dispute ticket with Lowe’s without making sure the installer did anything to solve the problem. They washed their hands if the install and now my wife is getting harassed by Lowe’s.

I spent $4,000 for porcelain counters only to get scratched up composite of some kind. They look horrible and Sage won’t do anything to help me. They state that the warranty is only for 30 days?! I was told there was a lifetime warranty at the time of purchase. Now I have to pay to have a new company rip out and replace counters that are less than 1 year old. What a scam!

WARNING!!! This company is NON-RESPONSIVE to customer complaints. They get their money and they're done with you. If you are having a counter top installed thru LOWES, PLEASE RECONSIDER. If these guys make a mistake you may never get it resolved. I've been waiting 3 weeks for a resolution and I'm getting nowhere. They installed a countertop with an undermount sink. They drilled a hole for the faucet too close to the sink mount and now I can't install a faucet because there's no room for the lock nut underneath the sink. They have lied to LOWES about the issue and LOWES doesn't seem to be responding. UPDATE: The home office (in Texas) DID respond appropriately after I contacted them directly. LOWES did little to help. The Sage Surcaces I'm warning you about working with is contracted with LOWES in Laurel, Md.

I would highly recommend to skip this company. Very crooked! We live in Illinois, and they are charging us $120 for a bogus project in California due to them having a wrong address for a Lowe's countertop. The company was unwilling to understand that we live in another part of the United States, so based on their stupidity and shady practices, I would highly recommend moving on from using this company.

Very poor install job and a continual run around trying to get a resolution. Sage just shrugs and sends you to Lowe's Installations Made Easy services, who do not respond to calls or emails. Crooked cuts, crooked install, poorly measured, pieces too short, installer cut into the wall trying to disguise how bad their fitting job was.

I utilized Sage Surfaces services for an outdoor project. We decided to replace our countertop with fantasy brown granite and were able to speak with a sales associate on the best option for wear and tear outside. We also decided to try the new Derivati porcelain for a tabletop and are thrilled with the outcome. The customer service was outstanding and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone! Will include pictures below to show our amazing results.

I replaced my fireplace with Derivati porcelain from Sage Surfaces at Lowe’s. The process was stress free and I was thrilled with the outcome. They had great options for colors and their customer service was top notch. I will definitely be using them for future projects.

We purchased Durolosa countertops for a remodel in 2018. A few months ago the countertop cracked. We were told by Sage Surfaces that the warranty does not cover post installation. I would not recommend this Company for your project.

Worked with Sage to photograph slabs of granite and detail swatches. My contact was great to work with and very organized. The warehouse I photographed at was also just as organized and the personel truly kind and helpful. I look forward to buying some granite from them in the near future.
