“I hired Debra of True North to design and renovate two existing bathrooms - Master and Ensuite. She was able to give them an update without making them look out of place in my 60-year old home. I appreciate that the work was done with respect to my budget. Instead of gutting the rooms completely, costs were kept under control by reusing some of the existing fixtures. The work was done with a lot of care and great attention to detail. The character of the master bath was maintained by salvaging the existing mosaic tile floor. A new bathtub and subway tile surround was installed with two tile accent strips and soft blue painted walls to complement the vintage feel of the room. The existing vanity was updated with new handles, faucet and Swanstone countertop with integrated sink. The Ensuite bathroom and shower were gutted and completely retiled and a shampoo shelf added. A clever floating mirrored flip down cabinet was constructed over the toilet for extra storage. The Swarovski crystal knobs add a touch of glamour. Heating under the tile floor adds an extra level of comfort underfoot on cold winter days.”
