My love of architecture and plan drawings began at an early age, I would draft out a concept and envision it coming to life. Today, as Principal Interior Designer of Sarah Bernardy Design, LLC a Minnesota based Interior Design firm, I am honored to skillfully guide my clients through their design project by embracing their vision and creating a space that is a unique expression of their lifestyle. With over 20 years of industry experience Sarah can provide you with the plans, vision, and professionals to get the job done correctly. Sarah came to our home at the end of our project, after a previous designer dropped the ball. She picked up and immediately won us over. Her ideas, creativity and professionalism were top notch. Our first meeting with Sarah I knew we had decided on the right person for the project. In our first meeting she knew exactly what I wanted & the connection between the two of us was spot on. Her quality of work is excellent, time & research she put in for our project was perfect. The contractor she works with, Purcell remodeling & renovations, is fantastic. Sarah was wonderful!!! She did an excellent job designing the layout of our kitchen renovation in a way that will enhance functionality for our family. Her eye for style greatly improved the appearance of our kitchen, as did her assistance with choosing colors. Our new kitchen looks great! Sarah was by our side the whole time and was extremely responsive to emails. She made time for us whenever we needed advice. Finally, Sarah is well connected with suppliers and craftsmen. Those she recommended did a terrific job, and at a price we could afford.

Sarah listened to our wants and needs for our kitchen redo. She provided us various design layouts to review before deciding on a final floorplan. Having a handful of options definitely helped us to nail down what best suited our family and use of space. Sarah is great at hearing what it was we wanted rather than pushing her thoughts, ideas, and wants onto us. Her knowledge and experience definitely makes this project feel less overwhelming and obtainable. Sarah is also aware of our goal to stay within budget and has found ways for us to tweak things so we get most of our wants, which has been wonderful.

This is the second time that I have worked with Sarah. She and I redid our LR and DR ten years ago, to great results. So when it was time to renovate our house with a new kitchen and bathroom, Sarah was the logical choice. She is a great designer who listens and responds accordingly. Luckily for me, she gets my vision and we work well together. Our home improvements turned out fabulously well and all of our friends are in awe of her designs! We are very happy with our beautiful kitchen and bath.

Sarah designed the remodel for the first floor of our house, including kitchen, dining, family room, laundry/mud room, and a new ensuite guest bedroom. She did a great job understanding what we wanted, what our needs for the space were, making it family friendly(we have two small children), and making it look modern in our 70s house. The end result was great. The space looks great and is functional and met our needs. We highly recommend Sarah Bernardy Designs and look forward to using her in our next project.
