We did a kitchen remodel with Sawhill and are thrilled with the results! Susan was a pleasure to work with in the design process. She gave attention to the little details that make the room super functional as well as attractive. She incorporated our input along with her professional expertise and was willing to give advice on other areas of the home as well to make everything work together. She is the best! The contractors used were also professional and did a great job. Thank you, Sawhill, for a great new kitchen!

I cannot say enough nice things about Sawhill Kitchens. We hired them in January 2020 to completely remodel our 30 year old kitchen. Sue Palmquist listened to us and designed a fabulous new kitchen that is both beautiful and more functional. She was willing to make changes that we asked for but also was willing to politely stand her ground when she felt we were asking for something that would not be ideal. And this happened because earlier in my career I worked in the kitchen industry, so I had "opinions." We greatly respected how Sue addressed my opinions and it led to a substantially better result. Sawhill also has a fabulous team of subcontractors that are focused on delivering high quality workmanship while simultaneously treating our home with respect. Everyone should contact them if they are looking for the best people, design and workmanship.

My fiancee and I had the fortune of working with Matt and Tricia in consulting with us on a kitchen remodel. Both of them were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, and understanding of the visions we were hoping to achieve. I can confidently say that when working with Sawhill Kitchens you are in capable hands.

I would highly recommend Sawhill Kitchens! Susan came up with a great design that fully used every square inch of my new kitchen space. I cannot say enough good things about the design that Susan came up with -- it is absolutely beautiful and the functionality is amazing! Working with her and the Sawhill team was great, since i travel quite a bit for my work -- it was comforting to know that they were on the project while I was out. When issue arose, they were on top of it right away!

Sawhill has helped us gut and redesign our goumet kitchen, facelift a bathroom, and redesign our patio/pergola grill space. They are always professional and courteous whenever we work with them. Susan Palmquist in particular will take in every detail and present your new space in a way you never imagined! We love the outcome every time. Thanks!

We cannot recommend Sawhill Kitchens - and particularly Sarah - more highly. We gutted our kitchen down to the studs and started over, but not before we finalized the incredible design Sarah put together. We didn't increase the square footage of our kitchen and Sarah figured out how to make the best use of the space we had. Always patient with our questions and always on top of EVERY detail, she made us feel like we were her only client. She was a joy to work with and we could not be happier with our awesome new kitchen!

We have used Sawhill two times for our kitchen needs. Needless to say we wouldn't consider using anybody else. They listen to our needs and give us creative solutions that are both functional and beautiful. They are a joy to work with and respectful of both your time and budget

We have worked with Sarah and Tim on several different projects over the years and can't say enough great things about them; they have always met or exceeded our expectations. We have enjoyed the design process, where they listen very carefully to understand what you really want, and then figure out the best way to accomplish it. We have worked with them on new construction (kitchen, bathrooms, lower level) and remodels (kitchen and bathrooms). I always look forward to a Sawhill project knowing that it will be successful. Plus they are super nice!

Terrible service. Was one of the worst mistakes of my life. Luckily it's only money. I've had a mostly finished kitchen for 2 years now, and I still hate it. I am having it redone with someone else. Sarah Maly is terrible to work with, as is Paquette construction. Buyer beware.

Sue from Sawhill Kitchens re-designed our Master Suite-- we expanded our master bathroom, moved our laundry closet, and redesigned our guest bathroom to accomplish our update! She offered several different solutions before we landed on the right one. She also connected us with just the right builder. She was very creative and supportive throughout both the design and re-building process. The cabinets provided by Sawhill are of the highest quality -- I am using them now to finish our laundry area! Highly recommend.

Working with Susan and the team at Sawhill Kitchens was great! Susan was able to not only help us with our kitchen and bath projects but also offered excellent solutions and ideas for other areas in our home. She met with us numerous times and proposed a plan that accommodated our wants and needs, and included many additional great ideas, always being perceptive of our style. She used her expertise to develop the perfect plan for our extensive remodel project. Susan and her team were always available to offer solutions and options for any changes or adjustments that arose during the process. The quality and craftsmanship of the products and workmanship are outstanding!! The installer spent many weeks at our home insuring everything was perfect, and, always being respectful of our schedule and numerous other projects going on in our home. Edwin is an amazing designer and the contractor the firm arranged for us was wonderful. The entire project was well-organized and took into consideration all of our needs, down to the minute details of how we typically operate in the space. Would recommend to anyone!

For kitchen and bath remodeling I had a great experience and would recommend Sawhill Kitchens. A winning combination, I worked with Michal Crosby Interiors who suggested Sawhill Kitchens (Susan Palmquist, Tim Aden and team) as the best choice for updating/renovating an outdated kitchen and all three bathrooms within a reasonable budget. I couldn't be happier with the quality of work from this excellent team. Today's homeowner wants a modern kitchen and hotel spa-like baths. Not only did Michal Crosby Interiors help with the overwhelming list of selections and materials that were appropriate and moderate in price for the project, Tim Aden and Susan Palmquest were able to find creative solutions for the construction part of the work that corrected minor imperfections from the original home construction (kitchen cabinets weren't perfectly level for the new granite counters, new vanity addressed flaws in the existing bathroom tile). I've received rave reviews from family/friends on the quality of the renovation - modern, clean, tasteful, beautifully new... As with every construction project, not everything went according to plan (a piece of granite was not cut to the proper dimensions, etc). Tim Aden made sure that I was aware of issues and stayed on top of them until they were resolved. With this moderate renovation project, I paid a fair price for the excellent work and I would trust Sawhill Kitchens again as a good partner for my next remodeling project.

We love Sawhill. They did a fabulous job of remodeling our kitchen years ago. Just last month they coordinated the replacement of our 22 year old built-in refrigerator. This included removal of the old one, installation of the new one and custom made panel fronts that match our cabinets perfectly. Amazing work. It's a tribute to Sawhill that they have continued to be of such service to us. When you are a client of Sawhill's your a client forever!

We remodeled our kitchen, master bath and hallway. Sarah and Tim were great to work with. They are creative, responsive and professional. The workmanship is superb. The whole process from design to installation went very well and was actually enjoyable. We love our new home.

We have worked with Sarah from Sawhill now on two projects (kitchen and bath remodel) and both have exceeded our expectations. Sarah has the unique ability to pull exactly what we want out of our heads and make it happen. We really enjoyed working with her. Her designs met our needs and incorporated unique ideas. Guest are always asking for a Sarah's contact information after seeing the changes she made in our kitchen and bath. Sarah's knowledge of materials assisted us in choosing from items we would have never found without her help. This is what set our project apart from all other designs. We really enjoyed working with Sarah and plan to use her again on a third project soon. 5/5 stars for Sarah.

We worked with Sarah at Sawhill to do a full kitchen design for our condominium. The original kitchen was circa 1980s and needed to be completely redone. We also had the flooring and ceilings redone in the main living space. The end result is a highly functional and practical and ultra-modern kitchen that we absolutely LOVE. It meets our day-to-day needs and reflects our personalities. It is entirely unique, which is exactly what we wanted. Everyone who sees it falls in love with it. We had not worked with a firm before on such a significant remodeling project, and Sarah was a wonderful communicator every step of the way. She gave us clear information on budget and pricing and was flexible to meet any concerns. We knew what to expect and did not experience any "surprise" costs. Everything stayed on budget. Throughout, Sarah was a champion of the project and our needs; she never pushed us into uncomfortable decisions. She truly was a collaborator and helped us feel confident with any unknowns (e.g., how a design idea might turn out). As project designer and manager, Sarah took care of absolutely everything. No detail was missed or neglected. She was thoroughly prepared, always thought and planned ahead, and set realistic expectations about the timeline and any uncontrollable circumstances that can arise with such a substantial project. We did not have to worry about a thing. Instead, we were able to enjoy the selections process and let Sarah handle the logistics and details. We originally planned to use our own contractor, and Sarah was very willing to work with that person. However, he was unable to do the job in the end so we went with one recommended to us by Sawhill, and it worked out great -- probably even better because the two of them had worked together in the past and knew each others' work styles. The other staff at Sawhill were familiar with our project, even though they weren't working us directly. Whenever we stopped in the showroom, they were uber friendly, welcoming and helpful. Since completion of our project, Sarah has helped advise us on a variety of things beyond the scope of the project. The post-project customer service has been tremendous. Sarah is a top-notch project manager and architect, and an incredible designer. The tile work she designed for us is an absolute show-stopper, not to mention all of the other design elements she incorporated for us. We highly recommend both Sawhill and Sarah to anyone and would use them again ourselves for future work.

Hiring Sawhill was a great decision for us. Sarah Maly was very professional, patient with all our questions, clear about the process and helpful in keeping things moving forward. She kept things light and easy, and also paid attention to all the details, so we could relax. She worked with us by getting a thorough understanding of what we wanted, then made each of the decisions along the way easier because she had done lots of research to narrow the choices to what might be most appealing to us. If we wanted more choices, she was quite open to that as well. She helped us find a contractor who did outstanding work, and she was a ready go-to person on any questions or issues related to design or construction. We appreciated that we could rely on her background in architecture and design to give us a great outcome, which she did. We receive compliments on the kitchen every time someone walks in. We have done 3 kitchen remodels now and working with Sarah definitely made this the smoothest one we've done. I would definitely hire them again for any other projects that come up.

Excellent to work with! We did not have an easy remodel and Susan and the Sawhill Team exceeded our dreams. I love giving tours of our newly remodeled spaces. We moved our laundry room out of the entryway - added a separate mudroom and turned our kitchen into a dream kitchen with a large center island. I loved the idea of being organized but needed help achieving it and they did just that. Sawhill is very detailed oriented. Our daily schedules, meals, how tall each family member is, and our style of cooking was all taken into consideration in Susan's designs. I recommend them to everyone I see (and I'm a very picky person - just ask my husband :)
