February 2023: Smart Renovations did an absolutely fabulous job redoing my bathroom, changing a bathtub to a walk-in shower, installing a custom vanity and beautiful inlaid shelves next to it and in the shower. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience as they were professional, friendly and prompt. September 2024: I contacted Smart Renovations when I noticed that the sealant on two of the corner walls in the shower was deteriorating; within two days, they sent out a technician who repaired the issue. I was so impressed with their prompt action!

A big thank you to Tina and her team for the wonderful job they done with our reno project. We finally get to have the kitchen and bath we wanted and we couldn’t be happier choosing Smart Renovations to make our dreams come to life. From the initial planning stage, designer Jenara helped us envision what we wanted and was very accommodating to our suggestions and provided great feedback. Once the plan was finalized, Jason and his team worked tirelessly from demolition until the final stages of the project. The time frame for completion was estimated to be 6-8 weeks and they would have finished in 5 weeks if it hadn’t been for a delay from the countertop supplier. Tina was always available 24/7 to address and mitigate any issue professionally and efficiently and we really appreciate her input when the countertop was delayed. Whenever they encountered some minor issues, challenges or adjustments during the project, Jason’s team would involve us for our opinion and confirmation before proceeding to ensure we were 100% satisfied. Overall, we are very happy with the end results, and look forward to enjoying our more functional and newly contemporary designed spaces. Tina and her team helped us to completely redo our master ensuite and we are so happy with the final results! It is our dream bathroom. They were great throughout the entire process. We had been putting off a much needed renovation for our home, as we could not find anyone we felt we could trust with this process. Smart Renovations had created an amazing ensuite bathroom. We called them months after the work was done for a minor adjustment. We were so impressed. So many companies tell you they have exceptional after sales service…Tina truly does. Two and a half years after doing my beautiful kitchen I called her for someone to look at my under mount lights…she had someone come within a week and fixed the issue. We had our ensuite bathroom fully renovated by Smart Renovations. They do care about their customer even two years after my renovation. The under- cabinet-lights failed last Friday. I texted Tina for help that weekend. The following Monday evening, Eric and Johnson came and troubleshot the problem even though they were busy with other client. They ordered the replacement transformer, and returned two days later to change it. The lights were all back on now. The after - sales support from Smart Renovations were super. I really appreciated their helps.

After several extremely harrowing experiences with renovation contractors over the past 2 years, we did not know what to expect and were very nervous about commencing our next project (complete 1st floor renovation including a new kitchen, new flooring and removal of several walls). I had my home renovated by this company near the end of 2022. They did the design, walked us through each step and the contractors did great work. Kitchen, flooring, new stairs, popcorn ceiling removal, pot lights. Everything turned out better than expected. The kitchen was greatly improved and transitioned from a tight small kitchen to tons of storage and organization. I love my new kitchen and laundry room! The customer service was outstanding, with Felicia, Tina and Jenn promptly answering all of my questions by email. The designer (Jen) was patient, and creative in helping me design the layout. The installers were precise (used lasers) and took great pride in their work. We are extremely happy to be writing this (unsolicited) review for the Smart Renovations team, who were able to bring our dream kitchen to life, as well as some other updates that have really modernized our home. From start to finish, their team was an absolute pleasure to work with. We first approached Smart Renovations near the end of 2021, with our project completing in 2022. Christine was the lead designer, and did a fantastic job with bringing together the various wants/needs of the project together. She really got down to the core of the little details, and while she let us have our creative freedom, also provided her expertise in various aspects to ensure the project was visually cohesive. Once the renovations started, Daniel spearheaded the project. He was clear with project timelines, and was able to coordinate all the times as well as our schedules so we were able to work from home even when the project was open. He and the Johnson team really knocked it out of the park with the execution. Lastly there was Tina, who stayed in touch with us from the beginning to the end of the project and went above and beyond our expectations. She really worked with us throughout to ensure that every detail was executed to the the highest standards, and really took care of us. Overall, everyone we worked with at Smart Renovations was professional, knowledgeable, and a joy to work with. We had open communications from the get-go, and they were pretty much spot-on with their timelines. We cannot sing enough praise for them. We cannot say enough positive things about Tina, Felicia, the crew involved with our home (Christine, Daniel, Danny, Jason and Jerome) and everyone else at Smart Renovations. They completed work on our entryway, kitchen and two bathrooms in record time and to our precise wishes. We have worked with many contractors over the last few months and can safely say that they were the most committed to customer service. A lot of time was spent with us on design and customization. There were some structural challenges in our entryway that they were able to creatively solve. They were the only contractor we worked with where "impossible" was never the answer. I was very very happy with my custom closet in my bedroom. It was prepared even earlier than they estimated which I was happy about but the thing that impressed me most was their meticulous attention to detail. Turned out better than expected!

I cannot say enough about this company. They deserve the Houzz award every single year. We hired them for our bathroom renovation and every person along the way was wonderful. The quote was in line with what we were expecting and did not go one cent over unless we added something. Their team of David and Winnie were awesome. Every day they laid their sheets to protect our floors and picked them up at the end of the day. We love the fact that they came every day and didn’t go to other jobs in between. They didn’t stop until they were finished. The staff at Tina‘s office were also amazing. We worked with Felicia on the plans and the end result was absolutely amazing. When we reached out to Smart Renovations for our kitchen renovation project, and the very first day Tina came to our home to talk things over and give us an estimate, she was very professional and that first impression was big. Tina and her team did two complete bathroom renovations in our home. I highly recommend Smart Renovations because of the high quality of their work and especially how easy it was to work with them. From design to completion, the project was pretty hands-off with just the right level of input from us on design preferences and fixture/finishes selections. The project was completed ahead of schedule and everything that was included in the budget was clear with no budgeting surprises. On-site, her team adhered to COVID safety protocols and were very professional. They cleaned up the workspace each day and tried to minimize the disruptions and need to interrupt us for questions (as we were both working at home at the time). The team was also very flexible to look for solutions when we had some delays in the delivery of fixtures to make sure we had functioning bathrooms. Tina and her team were extremely responsive during the whole process, not just when the work was being done at the house but even for questions before and after the renovation. I will definitely work with Tina and her team again.

Tina was an absolute delight to work with. She was very attentive even though she was very busy with other projects, she was always willing to listen and help. From Jenara, Christine, and Norma on the front desk, through David who did such spectacular work carrying out Tina’s designs we were always kept informed and helped at every turn. If we needed to change something, it was handled with grace and a smile. Nothing was too difficult. When the bathroom floor tile was discontinued, they quickly found a suitable alternative. I’ve never done this before but felt like smart renovations was worth doing this for. I absolutely loved my entire experience with Smart Renovations. Tina and her team (Vivi, Johnson and Eric) we’re all amazing. I always felt like she was listening and trying to make me happy. We had our kitchen renovated by Smart Renovations this month. This was a one-stop-shopping project. The whole process, from the kick-off to wrap up was a walk in the park. I have never felt the urgency of posting a comment on any of my purchases before but that all changed when I started working with Smart Renovations. My experiences with this company have left me compelled to leave some positive words about my complete kitchen makeover. This was my first major renovation project, and I was quite apprehensive to say the very least. You hear horror stories of contractors taking money, doing half the job and then disappearing. With Smart Renovations the communication was consistent throughout. You will have direct contact from the initial time of quotation requests to the design phase and then finally renovation completion date. My mind was put at ease the second I walked through their doors. The projected lead time of 4 weeks was more than enough to complete on schedule. The two-man crew of Johnson and Eric arrived on time daily. By the end of the day, they will clean up and have all the dirt and debris removed. I cannot say enough of how these two were so respectful of their surroundings. Words cannot express how much I am happy and satisfied with my new kitchen and powder room. They provided a 3D plan from the 'back of the napkin' drawings, a detailed estimate for the work to be completed, and a timeline for completion. Timeliness: Renovation started and ended exactly as promised, and took only two weeks, with the crew working diligently 8 hours every day except Sundays. Quality: All floors from the entry to the bathroom were protected, and dust barriers set up. We couldn't be happier with the quality of the work, tiles are perfectly level, tub and fireplace centered with the back wall, all surfaces in immaculate condition at completion. Whenever there were multiple options e.g. for placement of fixtures, the crew consulted us to achieve what we wanted. Price: Excellent value compared to other companies who provided quotes for the project. Project management: Any issues were resolved in a calm, proficient way, ensuring our total satisfaction. It's absolutely a nightmare to deal with this company, I'd definitely recommend anybody to avoid them. The products they made is not what you asked for, and their delivery time was delayed again and again, and there's absolutely no service once you paid the money. They would find excuses to delay again and again for any service matters.
