Sycamore Kitchens was the first company we visited for our remodeling project. After talking to 4 others we returned to Sycamore. From the first meeting Don's patient approach and willingness to listen to our ideas made us confident we had a partner in the process. Details matter and Don made sure we thought through every one. When quality and supply chain issues created problems with the cabinet manufacturer Don recommended Wakefield & Sons in Philadelphia resulting in a beautiful custom kitchen and bathroom vanity far exceeding our expectations. Once demo got underway it was clear Don and Jeremy are a talented team, thoughtfully working through each challenge (with humor when needed) and were a pleasure to have in our home each step of the way. Volpe Tile (backsplash and floor) and Stonetech (countertops), recommended by Sycamore, did excellent work as well. We have been extremely happy with our new space and highly recommend Sycamore Kitchens & More.

When you read what they did, you'll understand why. We have a small kitchen (140 sq. ft.) There were 2 big problems: A) the floor was 2 inches lower in the middle and needed to be leveled; B) the recessed pantry was so dark we needed a flashlight to see what was in it, and next to it was the fridge which jutted out into the room. So, Don and Jeremy ripped up the floor, replaced worn joists and laid a new, level subfloor. Essentially, they rebuilt that section of the house. Then thanks to their creativity and problem-solving skills and their designer, Marcy, they restructured the pantry recess to accommodate the fridge and designed custom wall-to-ceiling cabinets where the fridge had been. Problems solved! They installed beautiful Yorktowne cabinets, undercounter lighting, recessed lighting in the ceiling, and all the appliances. Bonus feature: they do all the electric and plumbing themselves which saves time and, I believe, money. In short, they made a small kitchen bigger and brighter! Don and Jeremy are true craftsmen. Don's wife, Lauren, and designer, Marcy, were so helpful with ideas and keeping us informed. My wife and I had no experience with this process and they made it so much easier. It's a 5-star company doing 5-star work with 5-star people. With a lesser company this could have been a nightmare. Instead, Sycamore gave us a dream kitchen. They were a pleasure with which to do business.

We had our kitchen totally remodeled. These folks were professional, attentive to detail and easy to work with. From the design to the end product, they were patient, answered numerous questions and gave great ideas when needed. When issues arose [as they normally do], they knew how to remediate them.They showed up on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. I am so glad we chose Sycamore Kitchens for this project. I now have my dream kitchen!

Simply the best Contractor around! We hired Sycamore Kitchens and More in June 2022, to remodel both our Kitchen and Master Bathroom and Bedroom. We originally chose them because the prior owner had done a beautiful job remodeling our friend’s kitchen, however, when we reached out to them, it was the new owner, Don McGlaughin, who did the work…. And, we could not have been happier with our decision to hire him! From our first interaction with Don, his wife Lauren, and his contracting worker/partner Jeremy, to our last, we were completely impressed. Their work ethic, attention to detail, and craftmanship were so impressive and their responsive customer service was second to none! Any construction project that displaces you in your home can be stressful, but if you are going to have contractors “living” in your house for an extended period, Don and Jeremy were a pleasure to have around. Their fun senses of humor, and their calm demeanors did not get in the way of their ability to stay on track with our projects. Don timed everything really well, from cabinet arrivals, demolition, and installation, to coordinating with the other company’s flooring, countertops, and painters. He came early and stayed late whenever needed, and never left before cleaning up and leaving his workspace spotless. Don and Jeremy worked together with us to come up with a great design for our kitchen remodel that came out absolutely spectacular! They brought their creatively collaborative ideas for our Master Bathroom (working with Volpe Tiles, also terrific!), that involved breaking through a walk-in closet (which they rebuilt) and building us a new closet along our bedroom wall. The result was a beautiful bathroom “oasis” and two great organized closets. We are so grateful to Don and his team - The joy that these two remodeled rooms have brought us is immeasurable! If you have the chance to hire Sycamore Kitchens and More for your home projects – do it – you will not be sorry!

We love our new kitchen! The Sycamore Kitchens team was wonderful to work with, professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to minimize hassles for us during the renovation (and even finished on time!) Don and Jeremy are excellent at what they do, and we are thrilled with the result.

I had an excellent experience working with Don at Sycamore kitchens. He was professional and completed my kitchen within the proposed time span. Sycamore coordinated with all of my subcontractors, managing every step of the project. I am very pleased with the attention paid to detail and craftmanship of the cabinets. Our kitchen renovation project started last June when we contacted Sycamore Kitchens to order our cabinets and contracted for demolition and installation under the prior owner, Bruce, and designer, Kristen. However, when the cabinets finally arrived in November, we were informed that Bruce had sold the business, but the new owner, Don, would fully honor our contract. Don, with the assistance of Jeremy, provided the ultimate professional service at a fair price for the change orders that we requested during installation. Their attention to details and neatness, along with adjusting their schedule to accommodate the delays in our appliances, flooring, and lighting fixtures, indicates the pride they exhibit in their workmanship. Our kitchen turned our awesome and we thank Don for his craftsmanship.

We had a complete tear down and reconstruction of our kitchen. We were overwhelmed with the beautiful work done by Don and Jeremy. Their work was impeccable and gorgeous. They finished quickly and cleaned up every day before they left. They even worked a couple nights and one Saturday so we could have the work done without inconveniencing us any longer than necessary. We would highly recommend Sycamore Kitchens to anyone looking to redo their kitchen.

My wife and I were blown away with all aspects of our kitchen project - we couldn’t be more thrilled with our new kitchen! What particularly amazed us was how quickly it was done: demo to completion in three weeks! Also the level of customer service was incredible. Don always answered his phone at any time to answer a question or address any minor tweak. During the install, Don discovered that a cabinet was accidentally not delivered (not their fault), and because he didn’t want to delay our project, his wife drove 1.5 hours to Reading to pick it up while Don and his team worked. Just amazing! He and Jeremy on his install team even removed and replaced our powder room toilet and sink because a new kitchen floor was being installed as part of the project and the powder room is linked to it. Above all, they are reasonably priced, especially compared to their local competitors. Definitely hire Sycamore for your kitchen project!

We were so pleased we chose Sycamore Kitchen to remodel our kitchen. Don and his crew were so professional, punctual and really cared that we were happy with the final product. They also remodeled our adjoining powder room. We highly recommend Sycamore Kitchens!

We took a lot of time in evaluating who to use for our kitchen remodel. Eventually, we chose Sycamore Kitchens, and could not have been happier. They have an excellent showroom and Kristin did the design. She was great to work with, answered all of our questions, made suggestions and was very detail oriented. The project started on time and went smoothly. Don (owner) did most of the work with a small crew. He showed up on time and was also very flexible ( we were concurrently putting in new hardwood floors). We redid everything including cabinets, countertops, appliances, etc. Don and Jeremy's workmanship and quality were top notch. I had heard nightmares about kitchen remodels but ours went very smoothly. The entire project was done in about 3 weeks. I strongly recommend Sycamore Kitchens and would definitely use them on other projects.

Kristen, the senior designer, from Sycamore was fantastic to work with for our renovation project! She was so patient and provided wonderful design ideas for our renovation which consisted of a kitchen, office, powder room, and laundry room. Every phone call and email was always prompted returned and details were thoroughly explained. You're in great hands with Sycamore Kitchens and we highly recommend them.
