We had a whole kitchen teardown and remodel with Taconic Remodel through Block Renovation, Joseph was our main point of contact. Folks were extremely respectful of the house, setting up the work staging area to protect flooring and installing dust barriers/zippers. Great craftsmanship, great coordination and great communication. Kitchen looks absolutely fantastic. Look forward to working with Taconic again in the future.

We worked with Makaj Management on full bathroom renovation done by Block Renovation. Joseph Makaj was our primary contact and we were extremely impressed with his customer focus. We really appreciated being able to reach him at anytime including weekends and discuss the project (this was important because of our busy schedule). Joseph was great at anticipating and resolving any issues. His team was very skilled and the picture does more justice to their excellent quality of work than anything we can write. See before & after pictures. They were very respectful of our house and did amazing work even as we carried on with our daily routine. Our project was complex (with window replacement), and we are very pleased with the final product.

Makaj was the general contractor for a gut bathroom renovation that we ordered through Block Renovation. We had no familiarity with the company, but we were immediately impressed by both their thoroughness and professionalism. Despite some hiccups with inspections and permits, they handled all issues without a hassle or effort. I was also impressed with the overall quality of the subcontractors who were used. There were some minor issues that cropped up, but Joe immediately attended to them and ensured we were satisfied before signing off on the project. There were no corners cut. At the end of the day, everything was done right. I would be happy to use them for other projects. You can't take for granted having a comfort level with a G.C.
