We used Talavera for a kitchen remodel including new flooring throughout our home. Larry’s experience and knowledge was a great help in the design of our project, and he had helpful suggestions for materials and vendors. We hired Talavera Custom to remodel our master bath and walk-in closet in mid-October of 2023; Larry and his team of workers were nothing less than exceptional. We renovated a 1980s kitchen in a territorial style home in Scottsdale. Larry Mark coached us on style and wood tones to match our design to the existing home, while updating it and giving the kitchen a fresh, clean look. Stained samples were brought in to live with for a few days while we decided upon wood tones and color for the island. His patience with us paid off! The cabinetry is stunning, so well made, customized to our specs, and finished beautifully. Interior lighting in upper cabinets highlights my pottery/glass collection and the seeded glass is a perfect choice for our home. I especially like the utensil drawer details, flat spice rack in a top drawer near the stove, a lined pot drawer for cast iron and long utensil drawers for the grill tools. Dinner plates are now in a drawer and held in place with pegs, and it is much easier to unload the dishwasher into this space. The dual garbage/recycle bins are a boon as well. I am finally organized in my new kitchen and loving it. Thank you to Larry Mack and his dedicated,skiled employees for a job well done.

Even though our project was quite small, Larry treated it as if it were the most important one he had ever done. They have great attention to detail and they delivered on every promise. We could not be happier with the work. They did not promise perfection, but they delivered it.

Larry Mack helped us and really rescued us with a remodel of a home and did a tremendous job. After that project he helped us rebuild our home. He helped from start to finish including finding things to improve on the architectural plans. We literally had our home demolished and rebuilt. It is an 7200 sf home. All of our doors are custom made in Larry’s shop. All of our cabinets are custom made from his shop. Larry and his staff are awesome and care about doing excellent work. Our house/home turned out more amazing than we dreamed. Larry listens to what you want and works with you to make it happen. When we discovered a failing sewer line last summer, we contacted Larry Mack of Talavera Custom. Larry was our contractor of choice because of the excellent work he did for our complete remodel nine years ago. This new work would require removal of existing flooring, excavation, removal of damaged pipe, installation of a new sewer, replacement of the tile and wood flooring, and painting the interior. Larry worked with us in the planning, helping choose the best tile and wood flooring after replacement of the sewer, and negotiations with the insurance company. We discussed the schedule and the best time to begin the work. We agreed the project would take approximately 2 months and would begin in November. In summary: •Talavera crews and Subcontractors communicated their schedules and plans. We were advised of when and what work would be done. •Execution of the work was exactly as planned. There were no surprises. •Larry always let us know exactly when they would be on site and what the crews would be doing. •All work was performed to the highest quality standards. We should also add that through the entire project, the crews arrived on site, upbeat, worked with enthusiasm, and supported each other. This attitude was reflected in the quality of the work and the professional way it was executed.
