My husband and I could not be happier with our primary bathroom renovation. Kevin, Doug, Ronnie, Chris, and Suzanne are incredible. The crew arrived on the jobsite every morning promptly at 8 AM. If they were going to be late, which happened once during the 5-week period, I got a text message from one of the crew. Kevin, the owner of the company, came by every day during the first two weeks, then at least twice a week after as the project moved forward. Doug and Ronnie did their best to keep the construction dust to a minimum and were very respectful of our home. Dustin and JD did the tile, and we could not have been happier with the skill and expertise that went into the work. We were told the project would take about 6 weeks and would be done, hopefully, before Christmas. The crew worked very hard and were out of the house 10 days before the holiday. My husband and I highly recommend Taylor Made Custom Contracting for any home remodeling project. The communication was excellent, they treated our home as if it was their own, and the result exceeded our expectations. Kevin and Chris are extremely professional, attentive to detail, and thorough. I appreciated Kevin’s guidance on the repairs needing to be done on my townhome’s exterior. .Over ten years ago we had Taylor Made do three projects in three successive years, Master Bath, Kitchen, and Powder Room. They did a tremendous job. The craftmanship was excellent. The workers were very professional. Recently I unplugged a coffee, maker and the entire electrical outlet pulled out of the wall. Kevin came out to see what had to be done to fix it because it was in a ceramic tiled wall. He had one of his workers come out to fix the problem. This is the second project I hired Kevin and his team for. This first was a total kitchen renovation + addition to our 100+ year-old home. This time, they completely updated our primary bath and walk-in closet. The finished product is a 10. He and our designer worked as a team, making cost-saving decisions along the way. His team was curious (thanks, Ronnie). His subcontractors were high quality. We're very happy with the finished product!

I had Taylor Made do a major kitchen renovation, including building a custom fireplace in the dining room and replacing the flooring in the kitchen, dining room, hallways and laundry room. It was the largest update I’ve ever had done in my home. Of course, I had some concerns - would I be able to work from home as usual during the reno? Would I be comfortable with contractors working in my home for an extended time period? But my worries disappeared after the first day. I was able to work from home and Steve and Doug were so polite and personable, they became like friends. Both have an exceptional work ethic and always arrived each morning promptly at 7:30 AM. They were focused on the tasks at hand and when a few issues happened, they quickly communicated them to me and kept me informed until the issues were resolved. When the workday was over, they always cleaned up before leaving. They both have years of home renovation experience and are talented at what they do. Kevin showed up at least twice a week to monitor the progress. During a discussion on the custom fireplace, Kevin suggested dark wood trim on each side and combined with my idea of floor to ceiling stone veneer, the end result exceeded my expectations. Also, when a big box store didn’t deliver the stone veneer, Kevin drove to the store to pick it up. He also suggested adding crown molding and casing the entry ways to the kitchen and laundry room which created a more finished look. Taylor Made delivers in more than one aspect! I’m extremely pleased with the result. Taylor Made gave me my dream kitchen and dining room.

We used Taylor Made for our addition and highly recommend. Doug, Chris, and Tim worked months at our house and are true craftsman - thinking of every detail to make our addition fit seamlessly into our 1920's house. The attention to detail and recommendations from Tim made the project truly special and will definitely work with him again. Doug from Taylor Made was awesome in helping me out with hanging pictures and other items to spruce up my living room. He was also a second eye with spacial ideas on where to place some furniture. The Taylor Made team is always professional and thorough. We recently had them install a new front door and a new storm door on our brick colonial built in 1959 - its an old house and nothing is square and nothing is easy or as you would expect with modern construction. We flipped the orientation of the door because as originally built it would not open the full way. After they are done everything looks amazing and fits like a charm. Our cats love the new glass storm door and sitting in the sun watching the activity out front.

Taylor Made has been my go to contractor ever since I moved to this area and they remodeled my home for me - long distance! They’ve done several projects for me since then, the most recent being a chimney resurfacing on the outside of my house. Kevin had several discussions with me regarding the best way to tackle this project, and then researched to find which product would give the best result. His excellent crew got on the job as soon as the product arrived and completed it sooner than expected. The new chimney surface is beautiful and really adds to the appearance of my house. i cannot say enough about this company. Met with Kevin for an estimate on a fireplace. From beginning to end it has been a wonderful experience. Tim and Doug who handled my job were excellent. their workmanship is impeccable. They care about their work and it shows. Our master bathroom remodeling with Taylor Made Custom Contracting went very smoothly. They were very organized, professional and respectful of the space they were working in. One of the reasons I selected Taylor Made Custom Contracting was because of their warranty on their work. Two years after the completion of my bathroom, a drawer was not opening properly. Within 2 days, Doug was at my house to fix the drawer. Not only did he fix the drawer, but he spent a full day fixing nail pops from the settling of the initial job, and painting it to make the bathroom great again!

I contacted Taylor Made Custom Contracting Inc after an extremely bad storm which damaged the siding on my house. Kevin and Suzanne responded immediately to my request to have someone inspect my house and perform the repairs as soon as possible. At first I was very stressed out since my family and I were away on vacation and did not know the extent of the repairs required. The next day the repairs were completed (less than 24 hours) and I came home to find everything in tact ! I have used Taylor Made Custom Contracting Inc in the past for a kitchen remodeling and would highly recommend them for any home improvements, repairs or upgrades! I would give them a 10 if the rating would go that high.

Taylor Made refinished our the hard wood floors in our breakfast area. The variety in the wood shows through beautifully now since they were sanded and re-finished with a high gloss. We were very pleased with the outcome and as importantly - the process. Since they completed everything while we were on vacation, we returned to a clean house with brand new shiny floors.

Work included Andersen windows, slider, exterior water proofing, some carpentry, drywall and interior/exterior trim. Service was excellent, detailed, and professional. While we were out of town, they sent us videos of the progress, and the overall communication was great, very responsive. They even watered our plants and moved some furniture back without us asking. They asked for our feedback before making a decision on the trim, and the carpenters were always pleasant, friendly, and honest. The final bill was exactly as quoted plus an approved increase to handle some unexpected rot they showed us. Highly recommend for any remodeling or other custom work!

The team at Taylormade did a great job remodeling our bathroom. They customized each aspect of the room in accordance with our design wishes. All the details were taken care of so we didn’t have to worry about coordinating anything separately. Adjustments were able to be made along the way to maximize the look of the finished product. All the work was performed in a reasonable timeframe and Kevin was always responsive to our texts. The crew was always respectful and courteous in our home and they made sure to clean up well at the end of each day.

Over three years ago I fortunate to find Taylor Made Custom Contracting to work with on the remodel of my newly purchased 1959 house in Bel Air. Kevin was a joy to work with and totally got the remodel I was trying to do, which was easier said than done. Some of the features I wanted were nontraditional to say the least, and on top of that I had not actually moved into the house yet. Kevin had the additional pressure of working with me long distance! With all of that on the table, the construction job could not have gone more smoothly, thanks to Kevin's flexibility and the skills of the crew, and lots of texts, emails, calls, and photo tours. I did manage to make a couple of trips to visit while the house was under construction, so I was able to see the process from the framework up to the finish. The first thing I noticed was the complete care that the team took with each phase of the remodel, and the beauty of the finished product. In the end, the finished remodel far exceeded my original vision and three years later I am still in love with my new home. I was so satisfied that I have called on Kevin several times, since the original remodel, for other projects. Last year, Kevin and his team completed a beautiful backyard porch for us, that we still ask ourselves how we did without. Outstanding! Great experience! Taylor Made has completed two projects for us: an addition to our brick colonial - it blends in perfectly with the main house and provides an awesome office and pantry for us. We liked their work, crew and design suggestions so much we went right into a major kitchen remodel with them, which was quite a project given our house was built in 1959 with not-so-modern construction techniques (to put it nicely)...TMCC blended the old with the new, fixing things as we found them, hiding beams in the ceiling so we could take down load-bearing walls...all while minimizing the impact to our family. Remodeling, and living through the construction is never easy, but just extremely pleased with TMCC.

20 years ago my wife and i had a house with a beautiful stone fire place . recently we discovered that fire box failed and smoke had been leaking behind the drywall for some time . Looked like the only solution was to install a insert. We asked Keven Taylor to take a look and give us a price to install an insert. After looking at the problem and knowing how fond of the fire place we were he recommended that he fabricate a steel plate thus repairing the fire box without destroying the looks. the solution not only saved the fire place but saved us a considerable amount of money . thank you Taylor Made

We recently hired Taylor Made again for my basement update. We used them for my kitchen in 2017 and a bathroom in 2014 so they were my "go to" for this project as well. They replaced my flooring with luxury vinyl plank, painted the walls, built new shelving and replaced my sliding glass door. I was pleasantly surprised that they sent the same carpenter/manager who had come to my house for the last two projects. This way I knew what to expect with regard to communication and overall expertise. It also showed me that they keep their crew over time. Taylor Made Custom Contracting did a wonderful job remodeling my basement which included new flooring, cabinets, counters, windows, kitchen area, and bathroom. Kevin, Suzanne, and Alan were extremely helpful from start to finish. All of their suggestions were in sync with the ideas I had in my head and Kevin made it a reality. With the current pandemic, we were a little concerned about having people in our home but they immediately put us at ease. Kevin did a big and beautiful remodeling job for my parents back in the 90's. He just did a big and beautiful job for my wife and I. Went over budget and time because we asked for some extra things while the walls were already open (upgrade some plumbing & electric). Kevin and Suzanne Taylor were available and supportive of our needs and addressed everything quickly. The crew and head craftsman Alan were respectful of our space and offered their own wealth of experience into the project. The quality and craftsmanship and attention-to-detail was impressive. We are over the top happy with our new room. Kevin, Craig and Doug made the construction experience fun! Converting an attached garage to a family room and making it blend in with the rest of the house, it looks like it has always been here and not a afterthought. The craftsmanship and professionalism was top notch. We had specific needs for the room and they designed it to achieve those needs. Even the shelving in the closets is custom designed to what we are going to put in them, so I am showing them off to everyone too! We couldn't be happier with the results.

We are delighted with our new bathroom. Kevin worked side by side with us in choosing our selections which included tile, faucets, vanity, sink, toilet, heated towel rack, and custom shower glass. They did some repairs in my house due to a bursted water pipe, and everything looked good as new. The best part is that Kevin worked with me in resolving problems with the adjuster estimate for the repairs that my insurance company used. Much appreciated in Kevin’s help in dealing with the adjuster.

We hired Taylor Made Construction for our remodeling project based on the recommendation of our materials supplier. Their work quality was excellent and their attention to detail exceeded my expectations. Their construction personnel were extremely polite, friendly and highly skilled in their respective specialties. I had hired Taylor Made a few years ago to renovate my bathroom, but wanted to look at a few other companies for comparison purposes for my recent kitchen renovation. I ended up choosing Taylor Made for the same reason I did previously. They were the only company who listened to what I wanted and had intelligent creative suggestions. Updated 2.5 bathrooms - lighting, flooring, fixtures. The work was done in the time stated. The workmen were very polite, laid covering over our carpet so as not to track anything into the house. The price was reasonable, and the results are great!

We've been hiring Taylor Made for more than 20 years because they are consistent. We know that Kevin will give us great design/layout ideas if needed, the price will be fair and that the guys will be friendly, thoughtful and competent. My most recent project was a bathroom remodel which included replacing the tub with a new shower in order to make it more accessible to me. The end result was beautiful. Because we receive the same excellent service from Taylor Made for each time, we continue to rehire them.

Taylor Made Contracting remodeled our kitchen. The project included all new cabinetry, a new range and exhaust, and granite counter tops. The project did not include any electrical, flooring, plumbing, or lighting. Andy was the person assigned to our project and he is a true craftsman and professional. We are very pleased with all of the work. The total cost for our project was $37,074.

Taylor Made recently renovated our bathroom to make it handicap accessible for our son. We dealt directly with Kevin and he was great every step of the way. He listened to all of our concerns and insured that we were satisfied with all the work that would be completed before they began. He responded to all of my further inquires promptly. From our first meeting with Kevin to the final completion of a remodel 6 months later we have been pleased with every phase of construction from tear down to completion. Kevin and his crew are incredible craftsman from design through installation and including the finishing touches. Kevin listens to your ideas and guides you through design choices that will work in your space. He works hard to give you a unique bathroom rather than a cookie cutter, quick installation. His workers are as dedicated as he is and always strive to create the best. Our bathroom presented several design challenges, yet Kevin's crew spent hours on the placement of each part of the bathroom to give us a soothing space that functions efficiently in our upstairs space. Our tile work is beautiful; the floor and the shower are flawless and compliments the granite tile perfectly. Kevin went beyond the scope of the job to fix small problems near the bathroom too. He replaced a broken light fixture outside the bathroom and replaced baseboard trim on an adjoining wall. This is the second job that Kevin has done for us. He is the first contractor I will call for future jobs! Description of work: Completely remodeled and increased the size of our upstairs guest bathroom. Installed new walls, floors, ceiling, electrical, plumbing, shower, cabinets, counters, sinks, fixtures, toilet, and tiles. Finished the adjoining wall in the adjoining bedroom including a new closet, drywall, electrical, and molding. Fixed the hallway lighting and floor molding near the bathroom.

We have used Taylor Made Custom Contracting on four occasions the last several years for a variety of projects: a mudroom addition to our home, a renovation of our basement utility room, roof replacement after damage from a hail storm & repair to our exterior wall and basement family room from a car crash. We recently hired Taylor Made Custom Contracting to repair the water damage caused by our washing machine in our basement. Under the supervision of Kevin the owner, Chris the foreman and Travis his assistant, they transformed our damaged basement/laundry room into a beautiful, cozy area adding many small yet significant custom features to each project they worked on. They provided fine craftsmanship and care to refinish the pine boards, doors and the installation of vinyl planks on the floor. The finished product looks awesome. Best of all, Chris and Travis are always polite and clean up after themselves at the end of the day.

In 2012, Kevin Taylor and his crew gutted, designed and rebuilt two bathrooms and my kitchen in my condo, Their work was the highest quality: the tile work, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and finishing work was professional, impeccable and they demonstrated the highest integrity in pricing and timeliness. In 2016 they built beautiful cabinetry for electronics in my den and in 2017 they designed and upgraded my gas fireplace with new mantle and carrara marble. This review is for the entire body of work they have done for me over 7 years. Each time, they listened carefully to what I wanted and the result was even better than I asked for. Their job site is kept clean, keep noise to a minimum and they are courteous, and competent. I trust Taylor Made and give them the highest recommendation to my friends, family and neighbors alike.

Taylor Made did an amazing job finishing my basement. The team is professional and friendly, and the work is exceptional. We could not be happier with the finished product, and they were able to accommodate pretty much everything we wanted. We get tons of compliments on the exceptional craftsmanship. Beware, this contractor charged me $2,500.00 for a small area of tiling over my fireplace hearth. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income/He remodeled my fireplace for $9,000.00 (using my store bought tile) and then charged me the 2500 for a small patch of hearth (which required mothing more than covering the area with tile), I asked for a refund or at least some of the money returned and he refused. I really don't know how he lives with himself. But lesson learned and inevitably this matter doesn't pertain to me but speaks volumes about his character and greed. Just trying to protect others from overpriced costs and dishonestly

We hired Taylor Made to remodel / finish our basement. The project included multiple rooms, including a family room, bar, bathroom, exercise room, billiard room and a play room for our son. I couldn't be happier with this project! Kevin and his team were just amazing from start to finish. We started with basically a blank slate- we had a large unfinished basement, and a few general ideas of what we wanted the finished space to look like. I called a few different contractors to bid on the project. Kevin came out personally to meet with me, and I found him to be very professional-- he showed up on time, called & emailed to follow up, and seemed to understand exactly what we were looking for. We agreed on the cost and time frame for the project, and moved forward. Any time you hire a contractor, there's always some small fear in the back of your mind that maybe you picked the wrong company- you're not going to get what you want, you're going to get ripped off, etc. But once the Taylor Made guys showed up and started working, all of my fears immediately disappeared. I was impressed with their work right from Day One. The guys worked quickly and professionally, and I could clearly see the quality of their work, and the care they took to make sure everything was done right. Plus, the whole team was extremely friendly and easy to work with. They were happy to take the time to answer questions, or explain every step of the process along the way. The foreman, Craig, is a master craftsman and a perfectionist. He made sure every single detail was exactly right, even if that meant re-doing it (on his own) until it was perfect. There are details in our basement that I would have never even thought of, or noticed, but Craig still made sure they were up to his high standards. There were a few hiccups along the way, as I'm sure there are with any major renovation. As the project went along, my wife & I needed to make some changes to our original plan, which added some additional cost to the contract. Unfortunately, you don't know always know exactly what you want until the construction is underway, and you start to see the space taking shape. (e.g. we need more lights in this room, or the TV needs to be on the other wall, etc.) But every step of the way, Kevin was flexible and accommodating. He was able to go over all of the options available to us, and let us know exactly what each revision would cost. At the end of the day, we got exactly what we wanted at a fair price. The entire project was supposed to take 12 weeks to finish, and it was competed in exactly 12 weeks, almost to the day. Kevin, Craig, Andy, and the rest of the team went WAY above and beyond to make sure we got the basement of our dreams. I am sure I could have called another contractor and gotten the project done cheaper, but there's no way the quality would have been anywhere close. I am happy to pay a little bit more to get top of the line work, which is exactly what we got. Taylor Made is absolutely the best in the business! I can't recommend them highly enough. We already hired them again for second (smaller) project in our home, which also went extremely well.

I've had Kevin's crew working in stages on many projects for my 20-year old home. They have installed 'new installation' style windows, making sure the framing was good and also making sure the water-seal was installed correctly prior to putting in the windows. Most recently, they have installed new insulation and siding on the northern side of my house, along with new all vinyl windows. The 'new installation' windows are very energy efficient -- I had an energy audit done and there were no leaks around the frames of the new windows (as there were around the old ones, which were only 20-years old). I can already tell a temperature difference in my sunroom. :) He crew is very polite, cleaned up their 'mess' every day prior to leaving -- even shovelled the snow off my deck so that they could continue to get the job completed! Kevin has done many projects for my house which was built in 1995. Other than standard maintainence (i.e. washing off the AZEK deck) there has never been a need to call him back to re-do anything, nor have I needed to hire a contractor after him to 'fix it'. I've seen a lot of work he has done, from remodelling bathrooms and kitchens to full house additions. The workmanship is excellent -- the main reason he is 'my contractor'. I have no complaints and would highly recommend his company for any of your home needs.

We recently had a new roof put on our house by Taylor Made Custom Contracting. We have used this company for many years for our home projects, either large or small. We are very pleased with the work they do. They are professional, arriving on time and completing each job in a timely manner. The workers work hard and, answer our questions and give us suggestions about materials with which we are not familiar. With the roof project, the worker could not finish the job on Saturday because of rain, so he came back on Sunday to finish. We have had Taylor Made put on a deck and took out dining room windows to make an exit , redo a bathroom completely, install new wiring, install fans, put 22 new windows in our house, fix pipes, put in new outside doors, and put siding on the outside That is not the end of the list.

I have worked with Kevin on quite a few projects during home remodels. He has always been professional, on time and had great and trustworthy subcontractors. I would call him to work on any new projects that I have.
