We hired Craig and the English Contractor Team to complete a major renovation and addition on our home in Hyde Park. The entire Team was polite and very professional. The work was completed ahead of schedule (originally a 7-8 month project) and the quality was first class. There were unexpected parts of our project that came up, as with any project, but Craig responded to the situations promptly and also helped resolve the issues in a cost-effective manner. After working with the English Contractor, I won’t have anyone else work on my house in the future.

Having refinished our hardwood floors several years ago, I contacted him to build a large, elevated deck behind the house designed to support a Spa. Craig provided many ideas during the planning of the project to achieve a final deck that exceeded our expectations. The English Contractor remodeled our bathroom. The bathroom was completely gutted and redone with high end fixtures. They did an amazing job. They also had great ideas that we had not thought of. Their ideas made the bathroom look larger as well as allowed us to make the best use of the space.

Like any full remodel there are always surprises however with Craig and his team communication was very good with detailed discussions and reviews at every step while making sure the job was done correctly. Craig and his team were delightful to work with. His team worked with me to come up with alternative solutions once we opened the walls of our old house. Craig is incredibly collaborative and has a strong desire to make his clients happy. In fact he even personally had some of the best design ideas when it came to our project - even though we had a designer as well. His teams overall craftsmanship is very good. Having his own electrician on staff is also invaluable as he really keeps the project moving and is able to make changes as needed. We really enjoyed working with Craig.

Fantastic attention to detail and never misses a thing. Craig and his crew never cut corners, do a "quick patch up" if they find a problem, and do an excellent job. The craftsmanship is top-notch. I never worry about picking out the "pretty details" or decorating afterwards because the workmanship and quality on the job they do shines through and speaks for itself. They are the best and I will use them again for my next project. For now, I have the most gorgeous kitchen to enjoy I could imagine.

The English Contractor and his crew did an excellent job on our remodel. The team was easy to work with and was quite professional throughout the duration. As with any remodel, some unfortunate and unpredictable situations come up that were addressed by the team in a timely manner.
