The Flooring Nook

Please save yourself some time and money and just hire a local contractor. We didn't want to wait for the contractor despite hearing that the flooring nook was overpriced and a couple reviews about poor quality. At first we were very impressed with the new store and their products, but once the project started it was one mistake after another and our project took 4 months to complete instead of 4-6 weeks. The ordered and installed the wrong tile and lights. Had to tear up and repair the shower floor twice. They installed sink drains that were against code because they measured wrong. They measured wrong for the vanity and floating shelves and did short cuts to fix it instead of just doing it right. When the plumbers were installing the tub they even said they had never installed on the jason tubs and the flooring nook didn't even order the right parts to install it. There were many other things as well. Finally the best part was at the end when they tried to charge 20% more than the invoice they had already given us. The owner Dan and his company because extremely unprofessional at this time and despite the words on his invoice and his word as a professional saying the final payment isn't due until the project is complete he sent weekly emails and text asking for a final payment when big parts of the project weren't done. I know they are a small local business but just use a local contractor and you will be much happier. They are very overpriced and the quality is well below standard.

Top notch people with strong business values. Shaina has an eye for design and makes sure to keep up with all of the latest trends and it reflects in their store with the vast amount of choices and samples to fit everyone's taste and budget.

I had great selection choices for ceramic tile and the installer showed up on time. I am happy with their service and products.

The Flooring Nook turned out to be the best thing ever! I needed ceramic tile and carpet in a rental ASAP and they made it happen at a great price. Dan also fixed my backsplash in my kitchen with tile I already had. Thanks team!
