Chip, Brian, Norm, and Mike did an excellent job remodeling our master bath. They were all very professional and very knowledgeable when it came to the construction, plumbing, electrical and tile work that was required for the project. We really enjoyed working with them on this project. Chip's team also renovated a center bathroom, which also came out great. Chip was very helpful on both projects, explaining the process and answering all my questions. Chip was especially helpful in guiding me as I took on several demolition and painting steps in these projects. I would definitely hire Chip and his team to do future home renovation projects. I feel fortunate to have found a great, honest, and professional contractor to do my home renovation projects.

Chip and his team of tile, electrical and plumbing experts were extremely peasant and knowledgeable to work with! He did a complete master bath remodel for us, taking us through the process step by step, answering all of our questions and explaining in detail why some ideas would work functionally better than others. Chip was recommended to us by the tile store owner, and he helped us update our almost 40 year old master bath room into a dream bathroom within our budget. Chip and his team of tile, electrical, and plumbing, were pleasant to work around, and they educated us as to the details of the job. They kept the space clean and organized, helping us to manage unexpected concerns, such as the mold that was found during the tear out process. We had no experience with a major renovation and benefitted greatly from his advice. The business model of the Home Improvement Coach advises and tackles all parts of the job, but also, allows the homeowner to be involved to the extent that they choose. We did the tear out, we painted and we selected all of the materials, with helpful advice from Chip. Chip built us a closet and shelves, and we appreciate the organization and storage they provide. We enjoyed working together on the project and are enjoying our new bathroom!

Chip and his team are extraordinary. Thorough,professional and with a great eye for detail. From the weekly status reports to the tiniest design detail, Chip walked us through every step of our tiny master bath complete remodel. We had a 70's original "master" bath complete with carpeted floor. The entire room was taken down to the studs and rebuilt. I highly recommend the team and plan to use them again for some upcoming remodeling.

Chip and his team are fantastic! Chip communicates every step of the way and he and his team are experts not only on the work itself but also on the layout, design and functionality of the new bathroom. My husband and I had two bathrooms done by The Home Improvement Coach and love what Chip and his team have done. There are so many things I could rave about but the primary things that I loved about Chip are his depth of knowledge in all areas of contracting, and his helpful and cheerful attitude. When I was looking for a contractor, Chip stood out for his ideas and suggestions, his willingness to explore our ideas and his clarity regarding budget and start date. Some contractors wouldn't even give me an estimate until I contracted with them. With Chip, everything was very clear from the beginning. He laid out a budget and gave me an accurate estimate of how long his team would be at each phase of the project and provided me with a soft copy as we added or changed things. Chip did extra electrical work for us also which was very helpful. He comes back when he says he will and was true to his word throughout the project. Our bathrooms are lovely and we couldn't be happier.

I can not say enough good things about Chip and his crew. They transformed my master bath into an oasis. Chip is super knowledgeable about everything, and was excellent to work with. He helped me pick out the perfect pieces for the remodel. He kept me informed throughout the whole project. Brian is a master in tile work, and Norm is a master plumber. Chip and his crew were very knowledgeable, dependable and friendly. I had 2 bathrooms renovated and am very happy with the results! They were conscientious with their workmanship and Chip always kept us informed on the project's progress with a detailed spreadsheet of the tasks completed, costs and the remaining work to be scheduled from week to week. We are really happy with work The Home Improvement Coach and his team did in renovating our kitchen! They installed cabinets and hardware, tile flooring, backsplash, new ventilation, and appliances in addition to doing electrical work, building out a soffit, repairing the ceiling and overseeing the counter installation. Chip communicates clearly and regularly, and pays close attention to detail. He provides a weekly "project tracking sheet" that specifies labor and purchases to date. He and his team act professionally and do professional work. We have no complaints and would hire them again without hesitation.

My goal was to renovate 2 of the bathrooms in my new home. I really wasn't sure how to go about it , I found Chip , The Home Improvement Coach on Houzz.He responded promptly and came to my home to see the projects. He gave me ideas where to go and look for bathroom fixture and tile, he helped me stay focused. He gave me an estimated time line on the project and stayed in contact on a regular basis. The gentleman he has working with him are great. They are professionals in every respect. We decided to add an additional project at the last minute and thankfully , Chip and his team were able to accommodate us. Our projects started 10/28/19 and ended 12/9/19- we had too wait for custom shower doors. Overall a great experience.

OUTSTANDING to work with....OUTSTANDING finished project.... We would absolutely recommend Chip and his carpenter Brian for any home improvement project you can think of. We've worked with Chip and Brian on two projects. First was a mud room/laundry area Maine Slate Floor installation. The second was a complete transformation of a sitting room that was essentially a collection area of unused "stuff" into an awesome walk-in closet. The closet project included everything from moving some walls, to adding French doors, to a ton of custom cabinet building and finished trim work, to window benches that seamlessly flow from the window trim and molding into the custom cabinets. If we could give Chip more than a 5 star rating we would. They are that great! We had not met Chip or Brian prior to doing these projects, but would not want to do future home improvement projects without them. (P.S. Please look past the temporary curtains, Chip had nothing to do with them!!)

We hired The Home Improvement Coach (Chip) to replace the bathtub, toilet, sink and flooring in our main bathroom. Chip provided a detailed budget and work schedule and stuck to it. Chip's crew were professional and meticulous with their work and always paid careful attention to keeping a clean work area. We were impressed that Chip always tried to reduce costs when possible and in the end, the project did come in significantly below budget. We could not be any happier with the outcome of the bathroom renovation and we look forward to working with The Home Improvement Coach in the near future..

Chip and the team did a fantastic job on our master bathroom! We really liked the coach approach to the project! After a consultation and some measurements we had a shopping list and some guidelines. Chip would check in from time to time and was available to answer any questions we had during the purchasing phase. We also received a project worksheet that was updated weekly via email with a summary of the project's status during the work phase. The guys were great, all skilled and a pleasure to be around. We'll definitely be contacting them for future projects!

Project -kitchen remodel Our project consisted of tearing out an old tile floor and updating it with new tile and underfloor electric heating as well as tearing out and replacing a countertop and backsplash. We used the same cabinets, a few of which needed to be removed and replaced to accommodate the new flooring. We also replaced our over-the-range microwave with a hood and our double oven with an oven / microwave combo unit. The floor was multi room including the kitchen, mud room / laundry room and living area approximately 700 Sq ft total. We were very pleased with the outcome and although there were a few hiccups along the way ( as there in any remodels in older houses) the issues were explained perfectly and appropriately rectified. Chip and his crew were easy to work with and when we had specific requests, they made sure everything was to our liking. They were not satisfied with mediocre work and when they did not like the way something looked (ie matching stain on trim work or seams on cabinetry) they made sure it was right without us having to ask. They were thorough and respectful of our home and they were super nice guys.

Chip and his team were great to work with from start to finish on our master bathroom, and we’re really happy with the end result! We liked the approach of purchasing the materials ourselves, but Chip was really helpful in giving us advice on what we needed to get and recommendations for where to buy it. The project started and ended on time and pretty much right on budget. Not only did Chip and his team communicate with us daily to check in on progress, but they were also very friendly. When we’re ready to do our next home project we’ll be reaching out to Chip again!

I was attracted to the Home Improvement Coach's unique business model, which allowed me to contribute my time and effort to the project, as well as choose and acquire many of the "appliances" and materials. Chip and his team completed a master bathroom renovation after I had completed the demolition (and Chip lent me a few tools to do so). They took it from there and finished in about a month, exactly what Chip estimated. Chip and his team were professional, versatile, and courteous and provided excellent guidance along the way. Chip made recommendations on fixtures, lighting, and finishes, but I purchased everything, either from local small businesses or online. Above all else, the craftsmanship is excellent and Chip and his team were inherently trustworthy. When we are ready to remodel our kitchen, Chip will be the first one I call.

Chip, "The Head Coach," and his team remodeled my Master Bathroom. They were a pleasure to work with, from the first interview, through the design process, the daily progress and the finishing touches. Chip has a team of experts (plumber, tile setter, electrician, carpenter, shower glass, painter, etc) who come in when their part of the job is ready to be addressed. The homeowner can do as much or as little as they desire, in order to manage the cost, and also for the DIY satisfaction of being involved. He managed the schedule and kept the job going flawlessly. I always felt welcome to inspect and request personal touches as the remodel unfolded. They arrived every day on time and kept an extremely clean job site. The plastic “dust wall” they put up between the bathroom and bedroom was so effective that I hardly had to dust when the job was finished. The quality of the work is outstanding. My dream bathroom is now so gorgeous and functional I don't think the novelty will ever wear off. The whole experience was so pleasant and the result so satisfying, I would recommend The Head Coach for any home remodel project.
