Til Mar accomplished what three other contractors and an interior designer said couldn’t be done. Not only were they able to install a barrier-free shower in a small space, they were also able to incorporate many universal design features that made our bathroom both beautiful and handicapped accessible. Tom, Paul, and Frank were good listeners so we felt our needs and ideas were truly considered even if they didn’t all work. We had to make several adjustments as the project progressed, but these craftsmen took pride in their work and made sure the end result was just what we wanted.

I had a great experience working with Til Mar for a refresh of my Center City Philadelphia kitchen. Tommy made the process easy, and his team did a beautiful, clean and efficient job with installation (it ran like clockwork)--and paid attention to the details that mattered to me as a client. I had a great experience with Til Mar Design. Tom and Anna were great helping, this design and remodel novice, ease my mind and make choices for my quartz countertop, backsplash, and LVT flooring. They have a large selection of designs in their showroom. Everything that was done was done on time and quickly. They were very responsive anytime I had a question or wanted an update on supplies. Til Mar is awesome! They just put in our Danby Vermont marble countertops and back splash. They look amazing! They matched up the seam so that veins lined up- looks even less obvious that it’s there. Everyone we worked with there was great. They’re all very knowledgeable, professional and yet, friendly. We started our project right before the lockdown of 2020 happened. They stayed in communication with us and were very flexible with all the schedule changes that happened. I highly recommend them!

First and foremost I could not be more pleased with the job TilMar did for me on our master bath renovation. Tommy is a true professional but most of all a Man of Integrity. The maximum stars you can rank them is 5 but if I could I would give them 10. I hesitated to describe my full experience because I don’t want to give any negative impression. Most reviews say the contractor or product was Amazing because everything went Great or Terrible because some things went Wrong. If you are looking for a contractor whose work is flawless and everything is perfect stop looking because there are none. In construction things happen. All of the work is done by human beings and humans are never perfect. Here is what’s truly important and why I will again and again use and recommend TilMar on any Granite or Tile project. Indeed I have recommended TilMar on numerous occasions to the complete satisfaction of those who followed my recommendation. We had some problems. I contacted Tommy to express my concerns and he responded immediately. Indeed the corrective action would undoubtedly result in considerable expense to TilMar but without objection Tommy Rose to the Occasion! He immediately proceeded to remedy the issue with no argument whatsoever and at No Additional Cost to us. This is why I say Tommy is a Man of Integrity. This is what you want, and the most you can expect, from any contractor. This is what distinguishes them from the others. The best of contractors are the ones who when they encounter a problem step up and remedy the problem without dispute. The end result was a Perfect Job that we could not be more pleased with. With 40 years experience in the construction industry I have dealt with hundreds of contractors over my career. I can say unequivocally that TilMar is among the Very Best! A truly professional company, skilled at their trade, but most importantly a Company of Integrity!

Embarking on a major kitchen renovation project is a big decision, filled with anxiety. Working with Tom from Til Mar gave us the confidence to proceed with the project, and we are thrilled with the end result. Tom provided a great design for our new kitchen, creating a large open kitchen by removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room. His knowledge and experience made the process of selecting the cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash and flooring simple. It was one-stop shopping at Til Mar’s sizeable and organized showroom, and working with Tom’s recommendations gave us confidence that we had made the right decisions. Tom provided us with a General Contractor who organized the work of the subcontractors. All of the subcontractors (demolition, removal of old appliances, drywall installation and sanding, electrical, flooring, carpentry, countertop and tile installers, appliance installation, painters) were all professional, hard-working and all did an amazing job. Tom and the General Contractor always made themselves available to follow up on questions or remaining work items. Work was completed on time and on budget. Because of or confidence and trust in Tom during the renovation work, we even expanded the work to include floor refinishing and painting work into our adjoining living room and entryway. We are very happy with our new kitchen and all the work that was done and highly recommend Til Mar Design for your kitchen project!

Personal touch. I was about to buy some crappy cabinets at HD when Tommy pointed out the significant differences between the HD cabinets and the brands that represented. His knowledge and ability to custom design my cabinets was invaluable. I renovate many houses on the side and have come to use Til Mar exclusively. Thank you guys for another job well done.

As an architect, I'd admittedly set my standards pretty high when choosing cabinets for my personal kitchen remodel. Tom & his entire staff at Tilmar far exceeded my expectations, from start to finish. I'd developed a general design layout for my kitchen & Tom helped me take those ideas and further refine them into a functional & beautiful mid-century modern kitchen design. Then came the counter tops; I wanted something unique, and once again they delivered on that promise. The stone chosen was a unique Fusion Quartz, with a distinct pattern. After selecting the 2 exact slabs of that material that I wanted, Tom worked with me to further layout all of the template pieces on my 2 slabs, ensuring that the waterfall peninsula, counter tops & backsplash looked EXACTLY how I wanted it to. Stone fabricators/installers completed my great experience by installing everything flawlessly, with great attention to detail. I highly recommend Tom & his team at Tilmar Design. They are experienced, knowledgeable, professional, and extremely willing to work closely with the owner throughout the process, which in my opinion, leads to the best final results.

We contracted with Til Mar for a complete kitchen renovation. After spending over a year meeting with several contractors and design firms, we selected Til Mar based on their responsiveness, personalities, material selection, and price. Tommy was very easy to work with and we were able to pick out all our materials in just one visit to their shop. He hooked us up with Jimmy Ward and his crew to complete the job and we are extremely happy with the quality of the work. The only complaints I have is that we didn't get a budget breakdown of material vs labor (we really couldn't find anyone who would do that for us) and that the timeline extended from 6 weeks (which we knew was a pipe dream) to 10. Still, the whole team was honest and trustworthy, and I would happily use them again.

We took advantage of the sale on quartz that Til Mar Design was having and replaced the dingy laminate countertop in our Philadelphia rental home. The new quartz top and under mount sink look amazing. The experience was great from the communication for appointment making, template visit, material selection and install. Everything was done in the most professional manner working with our schedule and limited disturbance to the tenants that are currently living there. This is the second time we have used Til Mar and the service is second to none. Thanks to the entire Til Mar team.

Til Mar Design fabricated the marble countertops for my kitchen. Tom was courteous, knowledgeable, and so easy to deal with. The template was done quickly and the countertops were fabricated in about two weeks. The installers even showed me how to seal them myself in the future. Til Mar did a very good job renovating my galley kitchen in a center city condo.They are very experienced, sell good products and really listened to my needs.For example, I wanted to order bamboo for my floor from an outfit in another city and they arranged everything including getting samples one of which turned out to be a good match to my other wood flooring.They came in on budget.The only negative is I wish they could have included painting in their proposal. The outside cost for painting the small kitchen cost far too much.I have and am recommending their services to others.

Tommy Jr. was very polite and knowledgeable about the quartz countertops. He showed me the options they had instock to fit my requests. Luckily they had what I wanted in stock! I did do my research and called multiple vendors for quartz countertops. Tommy was great from beginning to end. The price was reasonable as well. Great product! I was worried about cleaning it but he reassured me that soap & water would work. He was right!! I even got frosting gel dye on the counter & it wiped right off, thank God! I cannot say enough wonderful things about TilMar. Starting with Tom, who helped design the kitchen. He helped with so many details that could have gone unnoticed. Like, the size of the cabinet doors, the direction they should open and whether the ddors would hit the stove hood or fridge. Tom was patient, ever so helpful and available to answer any silly question almost immediately. Our UltraCraft Natural Cherry cabinets are beautiful!! Then came the countertop. Again. Tom was so patient as I walked around and around the showroom changing my mind about the countertops. And wow!!! I can't tell you how amazing the countertop looks!!! Great job and a wonderful experience! The Granite was cut and installed to perfection. TilMar did a fabulous job selecting the direction the granite was cut. I love the simplicity of the edges and the polish which brings out the beauty but isn't too shiny - it's perfect. The installation crew was fabulous. Showed up on time and where professional and courteous. The crew foreman, Ivan, is worth his weight in gold. We had a few issues with how two countertops came together. Ivan was able to think outside the box and come up with solutions quickly and effectively! He was always professional and patient. Our kitchen is gorgeous - everything I expected and more! I love my new bathroom! Tommy envisioned a completely different space for our existing mess of a master bath. His design was perfect and rearranged in a way that gave us much more useful space. The shower is triple the size of our last one! Tommy helped us pick out the perfect tile and cabinets. He spent hours with us until we found the exact combinations that fit in with our aesthetic. I couldn't be happier with the result!

Our Master Bathroom was renovated. Our shower was enlarged and everything including all of the tile was changed, We love our tile and love the heated floor under the floor tile. The workmen was respectful of our home and came on time and always alerted us if their arrival time changed. I couldn't ask for better contractors.

Til Mar Designs under the direction of Tom Giordano, Jr removed old appliances and cabinets. Back splash from Til Mar Designs was installed .New stainless appliances (refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and hood) from Gerhard's were installed. Cherry cabinets by ultracraft were installed together with matching Wooden doors on the south wall of kitchen with frosted glass. Granite countertops, stainless rectangle sink and Soronsan single neck pull down faucet was installed. Kitchen is beautiful! I just love it.

The folks at TilMar went above and beyond to make sure my kitchen was done 100% right and to my liking. I have a 100+ year old row home that had been quickly flipped. Because the flippers didn't do a quality job, the entire downstairs was drafty, and nearly unlivable in winter. The guys took my walls down to bare bones, installed proper insulation and patched some areas that were letting drafts in. Once they took care of that, they got to building me a BEAUTIFUL, functional kitchen that made full use of the small space. The designer actually completely changed the layout, making it smart and efficient...not a waste of space like the old one. The products and finishes were top-notch, and the guys were polite and knowledgeable. Tom and Andy were always happy to explain things to me when I asked, and that was a comfort. They are also both animal lovers, and were kind to my cats, even when one would occasionally interrupt a project) :) Now my downstairs is bright and cozy -- a place I like to spend time and am proud of. I would confidently and emphatically recommend TilMar to my friends and family.

Til Mar fabricated and installed my granite kitchen countertops. The sales and design folks were knowledgeable, forthcoming and friendly. The folks who did the install were competent, accommodating and friendly. I had a positive experience and am happy with their work.

I had mysterious water damage to my home that ruined the hardwood floor in the family room. After two insurance adjusters and a plumber couldn't identify the source of the leak, I hired Til Mar. Not only did they identify the leak and repair it for less than $100, but the also replaced the hardwood flooing and installed a new fireplace since we had to open the wall to repair the plumbing leak. In addition, I was able to hand select the marble slab that was used to fabricate the fireplace surround. I couldn't be happier.

I've used Til-Mar a few different times and they've always been helpful, patient and fair. I had two 18"x40" pieces of granite cut and they were the best price out of four vendors. I installed them myself. The next project was a complete kitchen remodel a couple years later. Til-Mar installed a heated floor and helped me pick out great looking backsplash tiles that were within my budget. They did the floor and I did the backsplash. There was never any pressure for them to do the whole project. As a homeowner I loved the flexibility to do my thing and I appreciated Til-Mar not pushing for the install up-sale. The third project was my bathroom and I bought all of my materials from Til-Mar. I keep going back because of the service. Tom, Tom Jr. and Sara are great to deal with. The fourth project is a stone veneer on my fireplace. It's in the works and Til-Mar will be my go-to shop. We've created a relationship and I love how they treat their customers.

Til-Mar is fantastic -- professional, courteous, knowledgable, honest, and accommodating. Let me give you the punchline now: Our kitchen renovation finished on time (exactly 3 weeks as quoted), on budget (exactly as quoted), AND precisely what we expected. Everything that you would want in a contractor! We worked primarily with Tommy for our kitchen renovation, and every experience was wonderful. We gave Tommy the budget we have in mind, and he worked with us around our budget. He suggested on places to "splurge" and places to cut. Tommy came to the house and took all the measurements, and within a day or two, he sent us a customized design, based on our specs. He managed to resurrect some "dead space" and turn it into functional space. We visited the showroom to select the countertop, backsplash, and cabinets. There was a great selection of everything. Til-Mar's sub-contractors were equally fantastic. They showed up when they said they would, treated our house like it was their own and left the space as clean as they found it. Before our kitchen renovation, we used Til-Mar to install hardwood flooring, and after our kitchen renovation, we used these guys again to redo our entry way. Every experience is equally fantastic, and I trust them completely.

We recently had our kitchen and were sent to TilMar on a friend's recommendation. Tommy was very efficient, professional and helpful. He took his time with us and literally walked us through every type of cabinet, counter top, and floor type available.
