Communication with us is key to having a great experience with any contractor we hire. Jeremiah was always willing to listen to what we needed done before the work started on our kitchen. They came recommended to us from our tax advisor and I am happy my husband listened. The kitchen looks great and and the follow up on a few issues we had was done very well. We will be back and recommend them highly!

Read all the great reviews so I called for a free estimate. Jeremiah was very friendly, quickly quoted out the remodel, and gave a time frame when it could be done. The bathroom is finished and we are happy with the results from Two Poor Teachers

From beginning to end Two Poor Teachers Kitchen and Bath, deserve 10 stars. The crew not only had professionalism but personality too. The clean up was great and the entire affair was above expectations. Would gladly recommend them to anyone needing a new kitchen.

My husband and I purchased a house and wanted to do an extensive remodel of our bathroom. I came in contact with Two Poor Teachers. by chance while gathering bids for my project and I knew almost immediately that he would be the perfect fit for my house. Jeremiah was polite and listened carefully to the vision I had for my remodel. He was knowledgeable about all of the things I wanted to do and knew what the latest trends and styles were for each aspect of the construction. He was excellent at communicating with me on a day to day basis the goings on of the construction and I was always able to reach him when I had questions or requests. His employees were respectful and trustworthy and I felt comfortable with them on the property. When it came to pricing, we feel that Two Poor Teachers was competitive and fair. When I was originally gathering bids for my remodel, his bid was competitive with other builders. Our original plans for our home continued to expand as we saw the quality of the work provided. Ultimately, we extended our move in date by several months to finish the project and two poor teachers was flexible and helpful as we worked through this.

Had some great work done by Two Poor Teachers after having my kitchen replaced due to black mold. They came in after the mold was removed. Installed new tile flooring that looks like wood, new cherry cabinets, lights, granite countertops and a island. We are very happy with the work and the speed in which our kitchen was like new again. Hired them for a bathroom remodel from a recommendation I read on google. They did a great job and even gave me their discount on the hardware for the bathroom faucet, lights, vanity and tub. Also they followed up after the job to ensure I was satisfied with the results.

Two Poor Teachers did a family room remodel at my home. It included a fireplace mantle, , built-ins and new lighting. Ken, the owner, is honest, reliable and was accessible throughout the project. His teams were on time and always cleaned up. Overall the workmanship was good and the quality of our built-ins was excellent. We finished the project on budget and on time (for the most part). I would definitely recommend Two Poor Teachers and would use them again if I had another project.

We had a 30 yr old kitchen that needed a complete rehab. It was a hard to expand kitchen because of the construction of the house and we wanted to keep the same footprint. TPT was very helpful in explaining all aspects of the jobs and pointed us in the direction of buying new appliance, backsplash, lighting and more. His crew was quick and clean with the removing the old cabinets etc. The whole project was perfectly coordinated and on-time. TPT's planning, design, execution, quality and follow up was superb!

Two Poor Teachers completed our kitchen Remodel in December. Jeremiah was a pleasure to work with - mindful of our budget and working with us to create our vision within our parameters. We had everything defined prior to signing our paperwork so we understood our commitment upfront. The team is amazing at coordinating installation work. Most importantly, if there ever was a problem - it was resolved to my satisfaction. They want to insure that you are satisfied with your work. We only had one change and that was due to hidden pipes/ductwork in a soffit - I was very satisfied with the change recommendation and felt that it was priced fairly. We love our kitchen - It feels like Christmas morning every day I walk into the room.

I contacted Two Poor Teachers for a bathroom remodel in a new propertiy I purchased in Ashburn. The work was very good, they hit the timeline perfectly and the bathroom looks great.

After 10 years in my house, I decided to remodel our bathroom, and kitchen. I got estimates from 2 other companies, but were most impressed by the TPT price and their work in Fairfax and chose them for my Project. From the beginning of my Project to the end, the team was very courteous to us and provided me with regular updates on the progress and next steps of our Project. I decided to make some changes after the initial design and they accommodated my needs very professionally. I was most impressed with the communication with me - the team quickly responded to all of my questions via email or text and addressed all my concerns quickly to my satisfaction. The crew was very competent and professional. They started with my original builder grade bathroom and within a couple of weeks were able to completely transform it into a beautiful, contemporary bathroom. Next, the crew was able to tackle some difficult problems in my kitchen with ease and once gain transformed into a beautiful new look with new granite counter tops and contemporary lighting and backs plash. I am enjoying my "new" house as a result of all the good work done by Two Poor Teachers. I plan to use Two Poor Teachers for more remodeling work in the upcoming year. I would highly recommend them for any and all remodeling needs!
