We recently worked with VPC to help “refresh” our place in the mountains. We updated fixtures, replaced doors throughout, and restored parts of the back deck that were falling apart. The best part was a complete tear-out and installation of a new powder room in the basement. I know that we weren’t the biggest project in VPC’s portfolio, but they treated us like our project as important to them as it was to us. Chaz James was our project supervisor and working with her was fantastic. It was like doing a project with a good friend who just happened to have a great eye for interior design and lots of construction experience. We highly recommend VPC.

VPC Builders is outstanding in every way, and I would highly recommend them to anyone for any size project from a new build to renovations to even small "add on" projects. We've had the good fortune to work with them on a residential property in Boone, beginning with much needed repairs and upgrades to a previously owned home in 2018. They handled every aspect of the work from inspections and recommendations through full completion of interior and exterior repairs, infrastructure systems, and landscaping (driveways). They have exceptional staff with broad expertise, and work with only the best craftsmen and sub-contractors for each area of need. Their work in always on time, within budget and of the highest quality. Over the intervening years, we've also benefited from their Home Watch program, and been able to call upon them for other "events" like water heaters, HVAC, electrical and more. They are unfailingly supportive, and will ensure the best possible outcome to any request. You'll see their projects all around the area, both residential and commercial, and the work is always impressive. And even with this expansive portfolio, they always have time for the individual homeowner and client. We have been working with VPC Builders for three years and cannot sing their praises enough!! Having been in the residential construction business I could not understand why there were no builders, in the high country, who could not do a construction takeoff and give a fixed price bid. But, we now have one, VPC. We did a complete overhaul of our deck which required some structural work as well as a modern look. Tyler and the team gave us a fair fixed price, kept us abreast of the project schedule, and always let us know if there was a delay because of weather or material deliveries. There is no other builder, I know of in the area, who has the detail upfront preparation and schedule monitoring that VPC has. If you want a professional job, this is your company.

We are so happy!!!! Tyler and the VPC team did an amazing job renovating our back deck! They communicated thoroughly throughout the entire project and listened to all of our questions and concerns. We are starting other house projects with them in the near future and we are so excited!

VPC did a great job building a deck and outdoor living space. Very professional and workers were very conscientious. The workers showed up every day, weather permitting, and put in a full day. Supervisors visited the site just about every day, sometimes twice a day to review progress. Very pleased with the final results. Would recommend VPC to anyone that needs construction, remodeling, etc.

I found VPC Builders as I was looking for a local high country contractor with a great reputation that I could trust with multiple home improvement projects I needed done. They had completed one project and were in the design phase of a second project when Hurricane Helene hit. They quickly responded to a couple of emergency projects to repair storm damage and then just recently completed a major renovation of my front porch. Their work is high quality and the project management team is top notch and extremely responsive and made communication easy. At present, we have completed the Design Phase of our project. We were very hands-on during the process and appreciated the interactions throughout with our Designer (Jake). Strong communication skills, excellent vision, value-design recommendations, insights, integration with engineering design and patience during the past 6 months defined this phase. From that initial viewing of the partially cantilevered corner room in 3D to the Friday updates in our inbox, we thoroughly enjoyed the process and are equally excited with the final design. From the first phone call to VPC Builders to the final walk-through, everyone at this company provided amazing service! Dylan Cuerto and his team are not only super intelligent but also professional and personable. Each one stayed in touch with us through out the process, sending photos of their work as it was completed. We just had our final walk through of the two story deck they built for us, and the craftsmanship is impressive. Of course, there were some surprises and challenges along the way, but each one was explained carefully and with full transparency. The solutions were mutually agreed upon and then completed to the highest level of construction. Our new decks were to be built after hurricane Helene, and some of our gutters were damaged or missing. VPC offered to have a reputable company replace those and as well spray new insulation under our house. Their attention to detail was incredible: watching them build intricate detailing in the corners and around unusual angles was most impressive! We love our new decks and are certain we will enjoy them for decades to come. Highest possible recommendations for VPC Builders!

VPC recently completed a job for our family in Linville, NC. We added a full bedroom and completed a tear-off and rebuild of a two story outdoor deck. From the initial meetings to the finalization of the job we had a wonderful experience. They did a great job communicating with us and thinking through some tricky items that came up during the job.
