“Home Inc. design-built a complete renovation of the main bathroom and the main-floor powder room, including also replacing the ceramic tile flooring on the main floor, replacing the baseboard molding and door trim in main areas, and re-painting all affected areas (the two bathrooms, kitchen, hallways and laundry room). Home Inc. provided high quality service from start to finish, explaining each step of the design-build process, and the cost breakdown. Once we agreed to the design and the price, Home Inc. delivered on schedule and within budget. When a mirror cracked during installation, Home Inc. promptly replaced it. Unfortunately, we chose a poorly designed faucet for the whirlpool tub, and it took American Standard almost 8 months and four attempts by their service plumber before it was fixed, at no cost to us other than time and aggravation. While we are most dissatisfied with American Standard and their post-sales support, we are extremely pleased that Home Inc. stood by us and became our champion with the wholesale supplier, the service representative and with American Standard itself. This is a rare, high standard of service that stands out above all other home renovation companies with whom we have dealt. If we have any constructive criticism for Home Inc., it would have to be better communication with the client. There were times when tradespeople would appear unannounced, or not appear when we were informed they would be at the house. Finally, during the entire saga with American Standard, we would have appreciated knowing the status of communications with them, and not having to prompt Home Inc. for updates. We would be remiss if we did not mention the following people for their outstanding commitment to service excellence, our principle contact and project manager, the designer and the lead carpenters. We are already planning the next renovation, and will soon be re-engaging Home Inc.”
