“We interviewed a number of designers/contractors before engaging Kasia Karska Design. What impressed us was both her incredible design sense, but also her willingness to listen to the client. Too many firms just want to take the path of least resistance and build whatever everyone else is doing. With Kasia it was a real give and take of ideas (and hers were often the best!). Having done several renovations, both in the US and Europe we felt an instant connection to Kasia but also liked the idea of a design/build firm. This streamlined the communication and avoided any blame games between architect and contractor. Our project was challenging, as it was an extensive modernization of an existing townhouse and involved numerous zoning and design constraints, but Kasia always rose to the challenge, with creativity and humor. Working with Kasia and her team was a uniformly positive experience, and we are delighted with the result.”

“I worked with ALICIA DAVIS for almost two years on a remodel of a 1991 Vail home. The end result surpassed my expectations and the journey along the way was dusty but gratifying.
