“My husband and I built our retirement home high in the mountains north of Asheville. We were referred to Mason by a builder, and although we ultimately went with another builder, we stayed with him for our kitchen/baths. This was our dream home...log and timber, and I am an avid cook, but had NO idea how to begin designing a kitchen. I spent many mornings with Mason...he asked specific questions about how I cooked and organized, and my likes/dislikes. It came out better than I ever expected. We wanted a home that was sophisticated, yet rustic. He suggested knotty cherry that was perfect...also a black heirloom that looks really rustic (on my island and as a piece of furniture incorporated within the caramel colored cabinetry). Also, I knew I wanted something different above a 48 inch rangetop.... and we finally settled on a stone surround that mirrored our large stone fireplace in the great room across from it, , that included spice racks built into the stone on each side. I haven't mentioned yet that the prices were comparable to semi-custom- he was less than our Lowes estimate (for comparable materials). I went with his suggestions in the baths....particularly the Master, and all are beautiful. We get as many compliments on the kitchen as on the beautiful log trusses/ ceilings/ and woodwork in this home! Thank you Mason! Elaine & Dan Crabb”

“We had just moved to a home near the beach and we needed a totally different style of decorating than we had in our previous home. Leslie Thompson of Malibu West Interiors gave us just what we were looking for, a cozy but unique design to our home. Leslie did not give me a cookie cutter style. She worked with me to learn my personality and expectations. The result is a style that represents me and not a photo from a magazine. Leslie provided elements that you will not see anywhere else. I found this design company to be friendly, efficient and fair. I have used many designers over the years and this is the most honest and dependable firm I have ever worked with. We enjoyed working with them so much that we are now collaborating on our exterior living space. It is easy to see how Malibu West Interiors is highly rated and has won national recognition.”

“We had a wonderful experience working with Cris Bifaro Woodworks. Cris built us a somewhat complicated TV/media cabinet and built-in bookcases for a study. The cabinetry is beautiful. We are so happy with the final product. Cris is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He is wonderful to work with because he so obviously loves what he does. He is very responsive to questions and concerns and gives appropriate guidance throughout the entire prohect. Cris also has a great sense of aesthetics, so his advice can be very helpful. We would not hesitate to use Cris Bifaro Woodworks again.”

“Meghan was both the designer and the 'overseer' for my kitchen renovation, and she did a wonderful job. She is an excellent designer, finding the balance between good design and what i wanted (I am a bad designer but a frequent cook, and I had opinions....). Once the design was done, she kept me posted while we waited for cabinets. A separate contractor was used and she seamlessly coordinated with him. As always, there were a few hiccups along the way, but Meghan is committed to excellence and makes sure the job is done and done right.”

“We have hired Keystone Kitchen and Bath for two projects. First was a complete "down to the studs" remodel of our kitchen. Later we had them take care of a small remodeling of our daughters bathroom. Throughout each project, big and small, they gave us superlative care, imaginative and creative design, fantastic attention to detail, and careful attention to the bottom line. The kitchen in our old home presented great challenges. My wife and I are professional chefs, so we presented challenges as well. We wanted the kitchen to look good, but more importantly, we wanted it to function well for a family that uses their kitchen seriously and has little tolerance for inefficiency. Keystone managed to take a cut up space and make it a beautiful kitchen that functions well for several serious cooks to work in at the same time. Furthermore he did it in a way that fits beautifully in the context of our 1909 home. There are lots of designers out there that can make a kitchen look good, but far fewer that understand how a chef thinks and successfully design a kitchen for them. Keystone put the same effort in to the partial remodel of our daughter small bathroom. The visually expanded it through design, made it function better, and found every inch of extra room for storage. They did all of this while intruding minimally on our lives. Keystone's workmen are great, they work neatly and carefully, clean up after themselves scrupulously and are just really great people. When the projects were over we missed having them around. Keystone was recommended to us as " the only kitchen and bath company we should consider". We heartily agree. They are truly the best in every regard.”

“I worked with Kara Gressler at HomeSource Design Center and she is great! We had the best time working on the design layouts for my kitchen, beverage center, laundry room and guest bathroom. She was enthusiastic about the project and totally understood the industrial feel I was aiming to create. Her ideas were well though out and on target with my concept. I appreciated her experience and professional experience which helped me avoid mistakes in cabinet design. Kara was budget conscience, always giving me several options on cabinet finishes, doors, etc and, again, making suggestions to ensure I got the biggest bang for the money I was spending. The installation went very smoothly and we are looking forward to the finishing touches being done once the build is completed. I would definitely recommend working with Kara at HomeSource.”
