Not only with the outcome the most beautiful product that we could have asked for, but the process was smooth as well. They were very involved with every detail and the owner actually came to our house on many occasions to oversee everything! I have never experienced that kind of service from another company. They are professional in every aspect of their dealings and they truly provide top of the line product. Ms. Adkins is an outstanding consultant and provided me with options that I did not know about which is a much more professional approach than some of the more "off-the-shelf" companies that I had dealt with in the past. “We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”

“We chose Shaull of Essence Design because he listened to what we wanted instead trying to steer us to what is popular/trendy. He also had a great selection of styles for cabinets, tiles, etc. to choose from. When it came time to install his construction team was easy to work with, informative about what they were doing and when, and flexible when the unexpected came up. Highly recommend. Our project was a complete redo of the kitchen including damaged walls and hardwood floor (due to mold problem), as well as three bathrooms.”

“We remodeled our kitchen and family room. Tania was great to work with on our project. She was very pleasant and easy to work with. She understood our style and provided great recommendations and tips on design and layout as well as different options to help keep us on budget while still maintaining the quality and look we desired. Tania was very responsive to questions and concerns throughout the process and even after the job was complete when I needed to order more flooring material to match with the rest of the house. The products she represents and offers are of great quality and and 1.5 years down the road, we have not had any issues.”

“Jam and Daniel were fantastic. Their backgrounds in cabinet building, design, and as a General Contractor make them perfect for providing advice and design on custom cabinets. They truly care about your project and spend countless hours in design making sure everything is perfect prior to production. They even helped my fiancé and I understand what we wanted for trash pullouts, magic corner, drawer sizes, and cabinets vs. drawers. When it came to cabinet pulls they routed every drawer and cabinet to perfectly fit the pulls we chose. They do not stop until everything is perfect. Could not have asked for a better experience. As far as price these guys are on par with the two other quotes we received and the extra work and advice they provide at no cost went beyond our expectations.”

“As in Interior Designer, I have collaborated with Steve on several kitchen and bath projects in Alamo, Lafayette & Walnut Creek, California. Regardless of the scope, cabinet upgrades or a kitchen redesign, he is professional and mindful of the client's goal as well as their budget. Steve gives a considerable amount of attention to detail in his layouts: counter & storage space, island design, lighting, ventilation systems and recycling needs. I find him a true joy to work with and would recommend him for any project. He is on my "short list" of kitchen and bath designers. - Carol”
