“We worked with American Homestead Kitchens, specifically with Darren, on our kitchen that hadn't been remodeled since the 1950's and was limited on space (11' x 11'). We needed more work space and storage. The design Darren came up with used every inch of space we had to transform our kitchen into a beautiful and highly functional work/entertaining area. He was incredibly organized and worked great with our contractor. His patience, expertise and professionalism made our project stress free. His designing skill and quality of cabinetry made our kitchen the envy of all who enter!”

“We hired Blue Lotus last summer to help design our new master bathroom renovation and supply the cabinets. The bath needed to be taken down to the studs so every element had to be worked out. I knew the tile I wanted and the stone but needed help with everything else. The first thing Tracy recommended was to take out the small linen closet. It shocked me and added greatly to the material and construction cost, but it's the best thing we did. Ended up with a bigger shower and more storage room. Tracy managed the process, helping to choose the contractor, help me make decisions on time, then scheduling the main contractor's steps with the other suppliers. The finished bathroom is solid and beautiful and fits right in with our reproduction farmhouse.”

He helped me navigate through a difficult decision making process which enabled me to blend other elements of my house with new flooring, cabinetry, granite, and hardware. When I showed him the tile I planned to use for the flooring, he quickly pointed me in another direction. I am so pleased that I listened to Michael. “Fran at Holod's takes her time with you. She's attentive, makes good suggestions, but doesn't ever try to to "sell" you anything. When small issues arise, she's quickly responsive and makes sure that the work gets done. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. All the contractors who worked on our kitchen remodeling were skilled, knowledgeable, timely, and a pleasure to work with. In our case, we were surprised to discover that we could get cabinetry that would fit our project better by using a custom builder-- for less than we expected. And we got beautifully-crafted pieces. No regrets... we would definitely use Holod's again.”
