“I hired David for a bathroom remodel which required a lot of demo work! He reconfigured walls and had to level out floors. David took the extra time to ensure that the foundation was perfect to minimize any flaws or imperfections when the tile went in. The end result was absolute perfection! I should mention too that David was very helpful and patient with me in selecting tile and was able to offer sound advice based on his experience with certain types of tile. David was a true partner in this project and I truly appreciate the time attention he dedicated to me!!!”

“I used the design services of Desi McAlister to come up with the renovation plan for our new kitchen. She totally understood the floor plan problems that needed to be resolved and that we would not be living in this house forever so the outcome needed to appeal to a broad audience. She is easy to work with, creative, experienced, and a good communicator. In conclusion, her plan was successful in that our kitchen is more functional and enjoyable.”

“Richard Ryder did a large renovaton for me including gutting my master bath and closet, upgrading two more baths, installing hard wood floors, installing all new light fixtures, widening closet doors, taking down a wall, and painting the entire interior. He is currently doing repairs on a second home we have recently purchased.
My master bath and closet were a disaster. Richard not only refurbished the space, he completely redesigned it creating a spa like oasis that we still can't believe is ours. He did the carpentry on the built-ins himself.
While we have worked with several competent contractors, no one compares to Richard Ryder. He can do anything from historic preservation to new builds to remodeling. He is a creative problem solver, a skilled craftsman, and a reliable, fair, and honest person. He offers a range of options for any job and stays on budget.
When Richard works with you it is as your advocate; he works with you to get the best result for the most reasonable price. We feel blessed that we found him and he has our highest recommendation and our complete confidence.”

“We worked with Trey on the cabinets and granite in our new house. He was really helpful in picking out the style and color of our cabinets and took us to the granite shop to see large slabs which made it easier to visualize what we wanted. When the time came to cut the granite we went back to the granite shop to pick out the exact slabs we wanted and he laid out the counters so that the nice parts of the slab fell where they could be seen. Trey was so meticulous every step of the way, and our kitchen and bathrooms turned out so well. I would recommend him to anyone looking for that little bit of extra attention to make sure everything comes out perfectly.”

“Lisa consulted with me for my kitchen redesign and the reuse of existing rooms. She listened to my needs and concerns and came back with a comprehensive plan. She was clear, decisive and had some creative ideas that I continue to use today. I would highly recommend Lisa. I thought she was exceptional in her design expertise and her ability to listen well and communicate clearly.”

“Michelle was wonderful to work with! Her experience and thoroughness with helping us choose cabinets and countertop for a wet bar area in our newly finished attic space was completely refreshing. She was able to guide us as well on decisions about whether or not the cabinets we chose would work in an area that was more complicated than the standard fare. She was also most attentive to trying to work with our schedule, which constantly fluctuated based on other contractors. Michelle was someone we would consult again if the need arose and provided exceptional customer service!!”

“I could not have been more pleased with the work ethic and professionalism demonstrated by Nick Vaughn and his team at Kitchen and Bath Galleries. From our initial consultation to the final project detail, everything was completed on time and with the utmost attention to quality and customer satisfaction. I found NIck extremely easy to work with; he was very receptive to changes and new ideas and never averse to after-hours phone calls or questions. We were so pleased with our kitchen renovation that we have hired NIck to help us with our bathroom remodel. I have, and would, highly recommend working with Nick and his team.”

“After living in our house for almost ten years, and being unhappy with our kitchen for about eight of those years, my wife and I finally decided to pull the trigger on a kitchen remodel. We decided that we couldn't do it without the guidance of a professional, which is where Caroline Shillito at emma delon enters the picture. She was recommended by my wife's mother, who had hired her to help remodel her bathroom.
From the very first informational meeting, we felt totally confident in Caroline's approach and abilities. Her experience was evident with the questions she asked us and the answers she had for ours. Then moving forward in the process, from the initial design to the impending demolition, she has been on top of or ahead of every step and issue that would come along. My wife and I were able to actually enjoy the process of picking materials and choosing the elements that will make our new kitchen our own.”

Kaylor Russell
Wake Forest, NC Kitchen and Bathroom Designers
“Kaylor was fabulous at designing a great working kitchen in a relatively small space. Our “before” kitchen was terrible…all the cabinet and appliances crammed into one corner. The only way to fix the kitchen was to tear it out and design the kitchen from scratch. Kaylor listened to our needs and wants and whims, and figured a way to expand the space by raising the windowsill so that a sink and cabinetry could be added along a previously unusable wall. She helped us choose appliances that were much better than what we had before, but not outrageously expensive, either. A chaotic pantry became a wall of ovens (convection, microwave, and warming drawer). We went from a 4-burner electric range to a 6-burner gas range; a side-by-side refrigerator to a 5-door that is bigger yet easier to manage. We traded a kitchen with only one drawer for a kitchen with 18 drawers! The 3D plans she developed were great for helping us visualize how we would work in the space. The project entailed moving plumbing, electric, and HVAC; her plans were clear for the contractors to make substantial changes with no surprises. Everyone told me that kitchen remodels are stressful, but ours went smoothly from start to finish. We went from a kitchen that was cramped and frustrating to one that is a joy to cook in. We do a lot of entertaining; the new layout allows my husband and I to cook together yet stay out of each other's way.”
