So in approximately three months we went from vision to design to permit and material type selection. “We chose Shaull of Essence Design because he listened to what we wanted instead trying to steer us to what is popular/trendy. He also had a great selection of styles for cabinets, tiles, etc. to choose from. When it came time to install his construction team was easy to work with, informative about what they were doing and when, and flexible when the unexpected came up. Highly recommend. Our project was a complete redo of the kitchen including damaged walls and hardwood floor (due to mold problem), as well as three bathrooms.”

“Jeff Talmadge and his talented crew replaced all the floors in our home. Because of health reasons, we needed to replace our mexican tile floors with smooth wide plank hardwood floors; while we stayed in our house. - Everyday, the crew arrived on time - worked hard all day - left for the day after all scraps and dust was taken out. Our floors turned out beautiful - Jeff was wonderful to work with and he made us feel as if we were his only clients - even though we weren't.”

“I rarely write reviews but always read reviews before choosing or buying things. So I decided this time to share my experience with our kitchen remodel given how ecstatic both my husband and I are of the results. We asked two kitchen designers to come to our recently purchased home in order to change our kitchen. Neither of them actually came with ideas that would truly improve both the functionality and the esthetic of the room. We were thoroughly disappointed until friends of ours recommended Jam Iksoulene to us. Jam responded to our inquiry promptly and agreed to come to our house the following Sunday. My husband travels a lot and that was the only day we could all meet. Right off the bat, we were impressed by Jam’s willingness to accommodate our schedule. Jam spent almost two hours looking at the room, thinking, measuring and listening to our wishes. It was clear that compared to the previous designers, he was extremely conscientious and thorough. The design he created for our kitchen blew us away. It not only changed the entire flow of the room by making it much better but also nailed what we were seeking in terms of style. I have attached before and after pictures. Jam helped us with colors. Neither my husband nor I are visual and we were very uncertain and indecisive regarding color cabinets and countertop. Jam went above and beyond for us, giving us samples and even accompanying us to Cosentino to ensure that the cabinet color would work with the dekton we had chosen. Jam gained our complete trust. He always answered our numerous questions promptly and professionally. His inside out knowledge of Pyram kitchen made his install perfect. His expertise as both designer and installer make Jam Iksoulene someone we highly recommend without hesitation to anyone interested in transforming his/her kitchen with a modern French flair. “We had been sitting on what we thought was a fairly straightforward project for over a year because, in this high-demand market, we had to contend with crazy estimates, no responses and project creep until Ochre Homes stepped in. They made it a breeze (almost literally, part of the project involved installing two fans). We had one meeting with Ochre Homes and they took over: vetting, scheduling estimates from and interviewing contractors and then supplying us with a single easy-to-read spreadsheet outlining our options. We picked a contractor and the options we wanted, Ochre Homes took the project to the finish line from there within a week. They were on site supervising contractors while we were away. They paid close attention to details and kept us constantly informed of changes, updates etc. Additionally, the cost savings that Ochre Homes managed to get us by finding a reasonable but experienced, high quality contractor paid for their fee many times over. She asked me several questions to receive a better understanding of what type of furniture that I liked and then provided me with several photos of excellent well-made furniture. Kelly's furniture and artwork prices are extremely reasonable. Her follow through was phenomenal from ordering the furniture, developing it, shipping and most important asking me if I was satisfied with the furniture.
