“Choosing Lifestyle Kitchen studio for assistance with our kitchen remodeling project was one of the most important and best decisions we made. We did not seek their assistance when we began the project. We assumed that hiring a professional kitchen consultant would be beyond our budget. She designed three bathrooms in our home, consulted on our kitchen remodel including finding wonderful granite countertops, selected and recommended our hardwood flooring and redesigned furniture placement to maximize space and comfort. She is a joy to work with and is a very good listener when it comes discerning clients' tastes and preferences.. She has a "natural eye" for looking at a room and matching a style to her customers' tastes. During remodels, we also noted that she is a team player, working very well contractors and installers. We tend to use the same service people for our house projects, and Kristie fits right in, consulting regarding design and materials selection, meeting deadlines and respecting the opinions and timelines of the contractors and installers. When my wife and I married and had to combine two households of furniture and other household items, we asked Kristie to be the arbitrator, to decide what stayed and what went. That is how much we trust her opinions. She also has a special talent of making rooms "Pop" while still maintaining a tasteful and comforting feel to the living spaces. She chose a Brazilian Pecan hardwood flooring for the first floor of our home which is of a bold pattern but which fits perfectly with the "warm feel" of the house. We prefer bold, but tasteful tiles in our bathrooms and again Kristie made them look like "designer bathrooms" and without breaking out budgets. We shall continue to use Kristie for all of our house design and decorating purposes. She is a delight to work with.”

“This father and son team were excellent to work with. They were punctual, and would reply to my emails about concerns or ideas in a timely manner. I'm restoring a 1899 craftsmen foursquare in Grand Rapids. They added cedar railing around a roop top deck using the pre-existing post stubs left by the roofing company. Les was able to take into account the other design features of my home. It was not an easy project because he had to work with what another builder had left him as far at the footers for the railling. When I had concerns about the fitting for the new posts, he never argued with me or tried to sell me on why they were fine. They actually undid some of their work, cut custom shims, used the shims to stabilize the posts, and now they are rock solid. I could see myself hiring these gentleman again for the next project that needs expertise. Plus they were nice to my dog, and that's always bonus points. I felt pricing was fair, and I was rewarded with excellent custom work.”
