“We absolutely love our new kitchen and bathrooms, and we’re so glad we chose Sheeja as our interior designer. From day one, it was clear that she has an incredible eye for detail and never settles for “good enough.” Every inch of the kitchen was thoughtfully planned to make the space both beautiful and functional. After many discussions, Sheeja convinced me to prioritize functionality over adding extra countertop space. I wasn’t completely convinced at first, but after living with the kitchen, I can honestly say she made the right call. The layout is far more practical, and we’re very happy with how it turned out. We hadn’t planned on replacing our existing floor tiles. While a few had small cracks, we initially felt they were good enough to keep. Sheeja pointed out that not only could those cracks become a bigger issue over time, but keeping the existing floor would also limit the overall design and color palette for the renovation. She strongly recommended replacing them, and although we were hesitant because it wasn’t part of our original plan, she patiently explained the long-term benefits. Looking back, we’re so glad we trusted her judgment. The new flooring tied the entire design together beautifully, and it was absolutely the right decision. The bathrooms have been completely transformed. Her choice of tiles, the patterns she created, and the color combinations have given each bathroom its own personality while still tying everything together beautifully. We also chose to work with the contractor she recommended, and the entire process was seamless. She coordinated closely with the contractor, so we rarely had to get involved. What we appreciated most was how personally invested she was throughout the project. Knowing that dust was a major concern for our family, she spoke with the contractor herself and made sure extra precautions were taken to keep the work area as clean as possible. Having her personally oversee these details gave us tremendous peace of mind and made the entire renovation experience much less stressful. What impressed us most was that she genuinely cared about getting everything just right. She wasn’t just creating a beautiful home—she was designing a space that would look great and function well for years to come. We highly recommend Sheeja to anyone looking for a designer who combines creativity, attention to detail, and practical expertise.”

“This is my second outstanding review of DVC. My wife and I were thrilled with the installation of our cabinets in early 2024 and I wrote a great review at that time. A few months ago, we needed to have a couple of cabinet doors replaced due to unexpected damage. Unfortunately, there were a series of unlikely problems with repeated deliveries of replacement doors over some months due to errors by the manufacturer and damage in shipping. NONE of these mistakes were the fault of DVC. As soon as this company realized there was a problem, they immediately placed new orders with the manufacturer at no cost to me. DVC was absolutely committed to making things right in the end. Frank (President), Cristina (design manager) and Margie (customer service rep) were all in the loop keeping me informed and solving the problems as quickly as possible. You can count on quality and excellent customer service with DVC both in terms of initial installation and follow-up if necessary. This company totally deserves its excellent reputation!”

“The project that EBCON Co. did for me wrapped up about a week ago. I thought they did an excellent job. The project was to design and build an ensuite addition to my house for my disabled sister, who will be moving in with me in a couple of months. I hired EBCON for the project as they had done my home remodel when I moved into my current house 10 years ago. I was very happy with that project and pleased that several of their key personnel and subcontractors were the same as for my previous project. The current project consisted of a bedroom/studio, bath, hallway/study, walk-through clothes closet, lots of storage space, and small outdoor patio with wheelchair ramp. As my sister is an artist and art teacher, we asked for a design that provided high walls for hanging her paintings and extra space in the bedroom/studio for her to paint and potentially teach a few students. The design process went very well. The designer worked constructively with us and made numerous trips to tile, stone, and carpet stores with us to select materials. We greatly appreciated the detailed plan skeches she generated, some of which showed my sister’s paintings up on the walls in her bedroom/studio! Challenges, including access to the addition through existing bedrooms and integrating the design with the existing house, were solved well. ADA guidelines for accessibility were strictly followed for the design and materials. We – and all our family and friends - love the design and how it has turned out. The construction work was very high quality – EBCON has very high standards for the work done on their projects, including for the smallest details. The EBCON team and the sub-contractors they brought in were great to work with through all the stages, including design, construction, and completion. In addition to weekly on-site progress meetings (which included the project manager, superintendent, designer, and often the head of the company), I was kept informed on a daily basis about what was happening and the timing for next steps. EBCON staff were always on site while work was being done, and they were always reachable for conversations. Overall we are very happy with the project. I would definitely use EBCON again were I to have another project, and I recommend them without reservation to anyone planning a large or small home construction or renovation project.”
