“We had a wonderful experience with Maggie Cham, the owner and interior designer of madDesigns. As a Houzz Pro myself, I knew I didn’t have the time to thoughtfully work with my wife to design AND finish our lower level and so we engaged in a relationship with Maggie. It was a great experience for me and a builder and she brought a lot of knowledge and experience to the table and really was creative with our space. She and my wife spent time together and really helped us bring our visions to life. My favorite design idea that she did, working with my cabinet maker to design this outstanding wall display for my large screen TV using a walnut wall display, it adds an architectural and a texture, feature to the space with floating shelves, and a bookcase where the alcove of the fireplace would have been. Please see the picture for reference. Also, adding a 12 inch baseboard made out of the same walnut right under where the TV wall display is and wrapped it around the wall and it looks fantastic. She helped my wife really bring the space to life. I cannot speak highly enough about her creativity and design and we couldn’t be more thrilled. I would love to work with Maggie again and would highly recommend her.”

“I highly recommend Louise and her crew for design, remodel and build projects. Louise did a ton of work for our family home. They 1) reinvented our small kitchen, doing a total gut and remodel, closing useless doorways, allowing for more counter and pantry space as well as a double wall oven, 2) opened up walls original to our 1936 house so that we had more use of our space, 3) closed a window and built an entertainment/cabinet wall, 4) remodeled 2 bathrooms, a full and a half, 5) added main floor hardwood, and 6) Put in a bar wall in our sunroom. With all the work that was done in our house from about September to February, we gained a close relationship with Louise, Bill and their crew. I can honestly say that the team was always attentive to detail, making sure woods matched, tile was set right, trim flowed, and wanted to make sure the things they were doing met our vision. They worked generally an 8-3:30 schedule, and were there everyday M-F. This worked for us with everyone getting ready for school/work in the mornings and getting home soon after in the late afternoon. Louise was always on top of communications, which really puts her a head above the rest. We had no big increases in price, except for legitimate change orders, like electrical and venting issues uncovered. Overall, I would say give Louise a call for projects big and small to see what she can do for you!”
