“I hired O'Hanlon Kitchens to remodel my old farmhouse kitchen. They did an excellent job, despite the unlevel floors and uneven walls. They were very patient while I chose my new counter top and hardware, advising me along the way to give me the best result. Their attention to detail was amazing and the quality of their work was outstanding. The would even sweep the whole floor every day before they went home, so it didn't seem like I was living in the middle of a construction zone.
I had obtained bids from other contractors, and O'Hanlon was competitive and really listened to what I wanted in my vision for a new kitchen. If I had another kitchen to remodel they would be the company I would hire. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone hoping to remodel their kitchen.”

Dana helped us to wade through all the choices and provided just the right amount of direction for myself and my husband. She was respectful of our budget and time and assisted us with a major renovation of our kitchen (it was a complete gut job).
The crew who did the work were great and always showed up on time, got along with my dogs (big deal for us!) and were great problem solvers for those crazy issues that always seem to surface with a major remodel like this. Their work was spot on and the attention to detail by Victor was very much appreciated!

“Our experience with REICO was excellent. The kitchen designer (Springfield location) worked with us at every stage and helped us select beautiful custom cherry cabinets. She advised us on backsplash, appliances, and the island. We even got several of our appliances from REICO - a Dacor cooktop and Meile warming drawer. Our contractor said he had never worked with a kitchen designer who was so accurate in her measurements and precise in her specs. He sends all his customers to REICO now because it makes it easy on him and his customers are happy. Would highly recommend.”

“We found VKB to be a great choice for our full master bathroom remodel. They provided their estimate quickly and out of the 3 other quotes we received for this project they were the least expensive. The work was done with care, especially the tile work, which took longer than expected but only because the workers were careful and meticulous with their detail. We were short some tile, and in these cases they clearly told me what I needed to go get, which was much appreciated. The allowances in the budget for the fixtures and mirrors and such were generous; in fact, we decided to buy our own at Home Depot and received a credit. We relied on VKB to arrange the vanity/counter and shower door, both of which came out much better than expected. My only criticism would be a few minor details were missed, such as the drawer hardware, which came later and had to be installed separately. Overall, however, we were very happy with VKB and would certainly look to them again if we were considering any other work.”

“Cameo remodeled a kitchen for me in 2010. It is a family-owned business, which does not use subcontractors (other than for electrical and plumbing). This gives it a great deal of control with respect to scheduling, quality, and overall job performance. It also works with a single cabinet manufacturer (a small company in Pennsylvania), which also gives it a lot of control in giving the client what he/she wants. Cameo was right on the mark with respect to budget, timing/deadlines, its workers were respectful of me and my home, its staff worked well together, its staff all sincerely wanted (and succeeded in) doing the best possible job, and it demonstrated a sense of integrity that I had come to believe could no longer be found in this industry. “We hired Ellene to draw a plan for our home renovation, which involved enlarging our kitchen, enclosing a sunroom, and reconfiguring an existing den. While other neighbors with the same model house had done projects to expand their kitchens, we wanted to use the combined space to get an additional bedroom, small bathroom, and larger kitchen while at the same time only reducing the den slightly.
After taking measurements, Ellene spent hours discussing with us how we could best use the space to meet our needs. She asked detailed questions to make sure we would have adequate storage, that the kitchen would conveniently accommodate appliances large and small, and that the new layout would work for our busy family. She was a valuable resource as we made decisions about types of appliances, pantry design, and much more.
Five years after the renovation was completed, I can say the money we paid Ellene (just a tiny percentage of the total project!) was money very well spent. We are thrilled with the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and den, and at no point have I said "I wish I would have done X, Y, or Z differently."
I have gotten Ellene's input on other home improvements since then, and she always adds a valuable perspective and is a pleasure to work with.”
