We have nothing but the highest praise to give to them for delivering such a fantastic end result. The team we worked with was fantastic. We really enjoyed the hands on process of working with Elizabeth, our designer, who helped guide us through the entire process of creating our dream primary bathroom. We had a fair bit of back and forth throughout the design process but it resulted in some highly detailed and thorough design plans, which included realistic renderings, all the selected hardware and finishes, and overall layouts. We felt like we got great advice from Elizabeth, and she really listened to what kind of look and feel we were going for. We then got with Daniel, our project manager, who helped turn the plans we received into reality. He was also a pleasure to work with and always provided very clear project updates via text and phone. The teams he assembled for electrical, plumbing, and carpentry were all very professional and did great work. Daniel was also a great problem solver who was able to come up with clever solutions to any issues that came up. In summary, we are very happy owners of two completely new bathrooms spaces designed and built by the lovely team at Chi Renovation. We would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a remodel in the Chicago area.”

“I have known Damian, the owner of 4EVER Remodeling, for over 10 years and have followed their work on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Their creativity, attention to detail, and craftsmanship always stood out to me. When my family decided it was time to finish our 659 sq. ft. basement in Bartlett, 4EVER Remodeling was our first choice. Within a week of contacting them, they came out to review the project, provided a detailed 3D rendering of the finished space, and presented a final price. I made it clear from the beginning that if the price was reasonable, we would move forward without looking for other options. The estimate was fair, so we proceeded with the project. Once we provided the construction deposit, the design process began, taking about six weeks to finalize drawings and order materials. The installation process was smooth, with skilled electricians, plumbers, and carpenters ensuring everything was done pet plans. The project manager visited our home at least twice a week to oversee the work. The craftsmanship and professionalism were evident in every step. Now, our basement is exactly how we envisioned it, and like using it ever day.”

“We worked with design first after interviewing at least 6 additional contractors/companies. Our project consisted of kitchen/family room, powder room, mudroom. We were impressed with D1 reported history of staying very close to budget, and we felt like we knew what we would be getting with (pre contract signing) renderings of our space. We also had friends that used D1 for a major rehab job and were happy with the work. The process of design and planning, materials selection, and demo were fairly seamless. The actual construction phase had some minor hiccups, as expected with any project. For the most part D1 handled these professionally and satisfactorily. The time frame of the project went beyond the estimated completion date due to cabinet delays. It's easy to get frustrated when in the moment of such a project, but ultimately our product is fantastic, and thinking back on it, it wasn't so bad. It was worth the wait for those cabinets! From a budget prospective, we went over on some line items and under on others, for pretty much an on budget finish. We were really happy with that. Our finished product is amazing! It is truly my dream kitchen. We spend loads of time in the space and I am so happy that we updated it. Before the project, I didn't notice the details (especially trims of cabinetry and such) of a space like I do now. I would walk into a recently redone space and think that it looked great, but now I notice if the fine details were addressed or not. Design 1 pays attention to the details and puts them into your project design. It really makes a difference and looks so much more professional and tailored. We are 1.5 years out from our project and anything that I have called D1 about, they have come out and addressed for us, in a timely manner. I have been really impressed with that follow up. We still completely love our space and haven't had any "I wish we would of" moments, the design and functionality are great! I would recommend design first without hesitation and I would consider them for future projects in my home.”
