“2021 has been a year of surprises and one of the best has been working with Bennett Construction Company (BCC). This is our 3rd major project with them (full remodels of 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen). Once again they delivered as planned and exceeded our expectations! This last project was a full remodel of the 2nd floor bathroom (21 years old). Our goal was minimalism with a simple, elegant, organic feel. The biggest challenge of the entire project was we wanted a floating wood vanity with no cabinets or pipes below. It turned out this was not something you could easily buy. After a lot of research, our designer, Rebekkah Davies Interiors + Design ended up providing a rough draft of the vanity design to BCC and they amiably agreed to include the building of a custom vanity in their estimate. The end result is a beautiful white oak vanity that is the focal point of the bathroom. It was essential in creating the warmth needed to balance the space for the organic feel we desired. There were many challenges during the remodel and our BCC project manager, Rob Roy, met each one of them with a smile and an attitude that this was just another “opportunity”.
