“I would strongly recommend A2Z. I had a Basement Finishing project which I awarded to A2Z Builders in 2021 after putting it out to bid. 1 common room, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 mechanical room and stairs. A2Z performed a site visit and followed up with a competitive proposal with a lump sum price. Proposal was refined (for clarity) and agreed upon. Provided good references which I actually checked. Single contractor/ interface managing all the permits, procurement, construction across all disciplines/ areas. Importantly, they were not stingy on the materials and did not try to descope the project where it was not clear. They provided design options on the materials and various items to be purchased for confirmation. Payment schedule as work is completed (defined by successful inspection along the way) so risk is fair. They accommodated tenants who were living at the property during the time of construction. Accessed the basement via egress. Portable toilet and garbage organized. Overall good quality. Very professional and helpful. Easy to communicate with and responsive. Few issues along the way as you would expect but is always addressed which is important. Nothing is smooth in construction so it is about how the contractor responds to issues. The project was not considered completed until I was happy with everything and signed off on it. Matt was the Project Manager. He was outstanding. Dan as the owner is also very good to deal with.”

“After 15 years of dreaming and speaking with seven contractors over several months, we decided to use Final Touch Construction for a significant remodel of the main floor of our home and have not regretted the decision. My original dream was beyond our budget, but Glen encouraged us to consider options that would incorporate the aspects that were most important. After lengthy conversations, he offered three designs that addressed our budget limitations, included nearly everything that was part of the original vision and, once we made a selection, he was willing to integrate sensible suggestions from us. During construction, we were going to live in the basement with two large dogs so staying on a timeline was a very important measure. Glen estimated 4-5 months and we were moving back upstairs in 4 ½ months! Their crews were considerate and efficient, and diligently cleaned up each day, which given the fact that more than half of the main floor was gutted and reconfigured was amazing. I would recommend Final Touch for your remodel projects without hesitation.”
