“Dave Vogt put together an experienced team for our extensive kitchen renovation. The project initially seemed daunting but with the depth of experience at Case it surpassed our expectations. We wanted to extend an inside kitchen wall and take out the middle section of an outer kitchen wall to install a 7-foot-wide window. Dave’s response: Case does this all the time. Dave’s team also took out the kitchen bulkheads to create lots more vertical space. The result was transformational with vastly more natural light. Dave brought in master designer Caroline Moore, who managed to pair a stunning quartzite island and countertops with walnut cabinets and marble backsplash. Fluent in all design styles and fixtures, she made it easy to quickly narrow down choices. The construction phase could have been challenging but we had project manager Brian Knott. With his extensive construction knowledge, attention to timing and detail, and professional can-do attitude, he orchestrated a deep team while taking advantage of individual talents. New cabinets were installed, new plumbing, new electrical, drywall, exterior wall brick work, quartzite countertops, backsplash, all new appliances, etc... Finished on budget six weeks ahead of schedule! Special thanks to Douglas for all his high-quality hours onsite as a Case builder and shadow manager, Eddie for some beautiful carpentry details and Marlin for his ability to use stains to mesh old hardwood floor sections with new. Kudos to Goran at fabricator Stone & Tile World for a well crafted quartzite island. It’s my favorite piece of “artwork” in the house.”

“We met Susan after deciding to switch design firms. She won our trust instantly. She leaned into our preferences such as a white kitchen with a white Island and helped us to choose a color white that coordinates well with our built in book shelves in the adjoining great room. She recommended Calcutta Caldia Honed countertops and backsplash and never made us to feel like she did not have time to discuss details and custom options such as hardware and grills on the beverage bar. She brought her design team to our home in our first meeting which meant she meant business. And this helped win our trust big time. She advocated for unlacquered living finish brass hardware— which we ordered from Europe. She helped me choose colors that resonated with our love of color— while being honest about her likes and dislikes. I wanted to be involved every step of the way and she honored this. To get the marble to work she recommended Marble Armor to address our concerns about stains over time. Susan and team gave us a farm sink on the corner — we know they took our design seriously despite how challenging this feature was to make work. They did it. I have a particular style which includes antiques and an Old World aesthetic— curated over time and classic. Susan and team worked to make the kitchen feel part of our home in a seamless way so that while the kitchen is new it vibes well with every room on the main floor in particular. We are grateful and enthusiastically recommend Susan and her impressive design team of professionals including Joey and Daniel who helped design and execute the plan. Thank you all!”
