“Stephanie and Steve did such a great job. They took our ideas and added to them to create our perfect basement. Stephanie had great insight into what we would like and helped us make the right decisions. Her background is definitely an asset. Steve's expert craftsmanship really shows through throughout the basement. His ideas on how to make our dreams into walls, arches, rooms and fantastic spaces was perfect. They took the extra step to identify a pre-existing problem that required a structural engineer to eval our home and then they took the additional steps to implement the solution. I felt that many others would have missed the subtle signs that he and his crew found. Post remodel, we had them come out to rebuild our chimney that became leaky and they worked on the roof in the hottest day of the entire summer. The entire team at One Room at a Time, Inc was fabulous. They all work well together, were respectful of our privacy and our home and really took pride in their work. We have plans to have them continue with other remodel projects in our home to include a master bathroom remodel and an attic. “We hired Century Bay Builders to do a front porch/screened in porch addition to our home and ended up adding on 5 feet to the side of our house and doing a total Kitchen remodel at the same time. Both Patrick and Nick are incredibly talented guys and very fun to work with. They listened to what we wanted to accomplish (even our crazy ideas like the outdoor shower) and made it fun to find a solution that would work to get us what we wanted with our 1920s Cape Cod-style home. They are both very creative thinkers but also great project managers. You can tell they have very good relationships with their full time carpenters as well as all of their sub contractors who have been working with them for years - some back when their father started the business many years ago. We looked at several builders before starting our project and though they were not the cheapest up front, I am so thankful we chose them to do our work. They worked very hard to ensure the quote they gave us was what they could deliver. I am sure after everything was said and done, we would have paid much more with another builder and not gotten nearly as high a quality of work or been as satisfied with the results as we are with Century Bay. Thanks to Century Bay, I now have my dream gourmet Kitchen, screened-in porch and covered front porch to relax in all summer long. Love, love, love Century Bay!”
