“We are very pleased with the results of the landscaping in our backyard designed by by landscape architect, Erin Gibson and implemented by her crew at and Urban Earth Landscaping. Erin took the time to visit with us and find out what our needs were in the design of our backyard. She was very knowledgeable about perennials, shrubs, and trees that would give us a pop of color that we wanted after moving here from the west coast. Designing our backyard was quite a big endeavor because previously all there was sand and cacti. We worked with Erin and her crew for over a year to design and implement the landscaping. Our backyard was a challenge due to a swale that had to be incorporated into the design. Erin helped us get the approval from the Village regarding the swale and fencing. Erin was very hands-on and worked closely with us to choose the right materials. She would meet with us at various businesses to pick out flagstone, cobblestones, gravel, and a fountain. There were a few miscommunications during this process, however, Erin and and the team at Urban Earth Landscaping worked with us to resolve the matters to everyone’s satisfaction. We plan to continue to use them in the future to install a wind break in our front yard. Erin continues to be a great source of information regarding watering schedules, pruning, etc. We highly recommend Erin Gibson and Urban Earth Landscaping. We are very pleased with the results and are enjoying our backyard sanctuary every day.”

Thanks to Steve’s professional, thorough, and experienced crew the fountain is beautiful and definitely the focal point in the yard. They returned later to clean up landscaping in the large back, trimming, educating us on the plantings, taking care to avoid the sprinkler heads.
