Drought Tolerant Landscaping Companies in Athens

“We cannot say enough good things about City Garden Co and the incredible work they did on our home landscaping. What started as a stressful problem—a major water drainage issue that was impacting our home's interior space combined with a serious lack of curb appeal—has now become one of the most beautiful and functional parts of our home. From the very beginning, Patrick and his crew made us feel completely confident that we were in the right hands. Within five minutes of our initial meeting, I knew we were working with someone not only experienced, but deeply intuitive. I actually stopped Pinning ideas on Pinterest then and there—and placed all our trust in Patrick and his team. Their knowledge, attention to detail, and thoughtful approach made all the difference. Not only did they completely resolve the drainage issue (a long-standing headache), they also absolutely nailed the look we were going for—clean, welcoming, and beautifully cohesive with our home. The transformation is truly stunning and we still find ourselves stopping to admire it every time we pull into the driveway. Our only problem now? The mini traffic jams in our cul-de-sac from people slowing down to take photos. Finding City Garden felt like striking gold. Patrick and his team are that rare combination of highly skilled, genuinely passionate, and an absolute joy to work with. Every step of the process—from planning to planting—was handled with care, creativity, and true professionalism. They turned what could have been a stressful project into something we genuinely looked forward to. It’s not every day you find a crew that makes you excited about landscaping—or one you'd want to invite to Thanksgiving dinner. With City Garden, we found both.”

“We can't say enough great things about MedicineWheel! We have wanted to make improvements to the grounds of our Athens home for quite some time. The home , built in 1936, had once been a beautiful showcase of gardens and more but had been neglected over the years prior to us buying it . We have slowly been trying to restore the grounds to their potential beauty. With our daughter wanting to have her wedding at our home, we finally had an excuse to make it happen. We asked MedicineWheel to help us make the grounds beautiful for the big day. They did a fabulous job , starting with the design for the terraced gardens to managing the sod and irrigation installation. Lauren and Brian listened to our desires and needs and taught us so much along the way. They stayed in constant communication with us and addressed any questions we had immediately. We especially appreciated their hands- on involvement with every step of the project. They are a team that not only cares about the initial project but also its long term success. They will be checking on the gardens in the future and I feel comfortable contacting them with any questions I may have down the road. As the wedding day quickly arrived, they had everything ready. When we asked Lauren , 2 days before the wedding, to plant white blooming annuals, she was there without hesitation. And Brian came the day before the wedding just to make sure everything looked perfect ! We could not be more grateful to have found such great people in Lauren and Brian and the others they brought to the project such as....Hall Roberts with New Urban Forestry, who did the sod and irrigation . We look forward to working with MedicineWheel again in the near future.”

“Pierce Landscapes was hired to cut down trees, trim hedges, clear out weeds, pine straw two large areas, purchase and place walking steps, level and gravel front yard to park car, cut back vines that have grown up trees to keep them from killing the trees, remove ivy from around the house. All the work was done in a single day as quoted with no problems. My wife and I truly love the yard now.”
