“We engaged Curbs Studio in the fall of 2025 for a rather extensive landscape makeover of our property. Central to the project are several hardscape items. These include a beautiful stone walkway alongside the house from front-to-back, multiple new planting areas with rock borders, window boxes, full property irrigation, and a re-imagined dog play area with stunning rock work. The project also includes significant plantings — a few trees, many shrubs, and a large number of perennials (over 200 items). Every step of the process, from design through implementation, has been incredibly smooth and enjoyable. The Curbs team (Lucas, Bob, Nilton, Mason and Cassie) are highly professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and very responsive. It has been a great pleasure to work with them. “Offshoots did a fantastic job designing and planting our small, urban back patio. The space was a neglected mud pit when we started, and Offshoots transformed it into a beautiful, usable patio. “the team from a Blade of Grass did superb work in our yard--we had a very shaded area in our property that we were never able to successfully landscape...the grass was denuded and the various attempts to plant things in the beds failed. Colin and team took a scientific approach to the challenges we faced: the offered advice about improving sun exposure, recommended specific plant types, and then designed a beautiful shade garden with step pathway that has far exceeded our expectations. The staff from the company (led by the experienced Atila, a great guy) were a pleasure to work with. There's a reason why a Blade of Grass is getting lots of business in our Wellesley neighborhood!
