“We worked with CLC Landscape Design to create our backyard oasis that includes a pool and extensive landscaping and plantings as well as a drainage swale arcing around the entire area. The fact that this project was created out of a steep and wooded slope is where the vision and professionalism of CLC and Rich, Jr. really came into play. In addition to working through several iterations of plans until we finally settled on a design that really felt right, Rich and the CLC team were in constant communication with us about the progress of engineering studies, permits and approvals. When construction began, the clear and frequent communication really intensified and Rich was on site consistently to oversee progress as well as to incorporate the inevitable revisions and additions to the plan. Working with an experienced and creative team was critical to us and led us to work with CLC; this was especially important as we pulled together all of the ancillary pieces including fencing and both ideas and contractors to finish our pool cabana. CLC is knowledgeable and literally a one-stop provider for a major project due to their extensive network of subcontractors, many of whom we still use to this day for annual maintenance of various elements. CLC is also a very responsive and professional organization; Rich Jr., in addition to being extremely knowledgeable and creative, is a pleasure to work with - he listens and he cares and wants to ensure that his customers are satisfied. I always remember during the planning phase that my wife made a comment about how she liked Lavender as a planting; Rich Jr. always remembered that and made a point to incorporate Lavender into the design. CLC recently completed a much smaller project for us in restructuring the plantings on the slope in front of our home. Even through it was a smaller scale undertaking, Rich Jr. again LISTENED to the things that were important to my wife in terms of appearance and was sure to incorporate them into the final product. As always, CLC was responsive and communicated clearly throughout the redesign of our landscape and provided the very same attention to detail that was present in our much larger backyard project. “Monello Enterprises is a professionally based company. I am a project manager for over 50 group homes in North and Central Jersey for over 17 years. Monello Enterprises Serviced our landscaping needs for all of our sites those 17 years. They were always there and on time as contracted. If there was something that could not be completed in a timely manner, I always received a call to reschedule and the rescheduling was always done as scheduled. Monello Enterprises also does site work. There was a particular job we needed done for water discharge and drainage. Upon the completion of the project, the routing of the water missed the storm sewer that was necessary to carry the water away. At their own expense, they reworked the drainage path and storm sewer to properly catch the run off. They are a class "A" company and I never had a concern about their work, it was always over the top. It is a pleasure to highly recommend them.
