His designs encorporate important factors such as water drainage, lighting, auto-maintenance and plantings that counter "deer / animal" dining preferances. His crews are highly skilled which make the important "execution"stage meet your expectations for quality. “Lisa, owner of Mierop Design, is an amazingly talented landscape designer. In 2003, we decided to tackle our lackluster yard. After seeing the results of Lisa Mierop’s designs from friends and neighbors we asked her to view our property and show us a plan. The plans Lisa drew up for the front and back that blew us away. Lisa showed us we can add curves, height, and dimension. She incorporated existing foliage, and added in an artistic blend of flowers, plants, and trees; as well as fencing and hardscaping. Our yard receives nonstop compliments from neighbors and people walking and driving by. For the past several years, as a board member of Van Vleck House & Gardens in Montclair, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lisa on professional level. Lisa has been the keynote speaker for the 2014 Roses to Rock Garden Tour. In 2014 she kicked off our series “Landscape by the Yard,” offering four practical workshops for the home gardener.
